I was shoked when i arrived. We rented a car at the airport abd didnt realize i had to park somewhere else and get a golf cart to take us to the hotel. It was inconvenient as last golf cart was 11pm

A little gem of a hotel. Clean room, bathroom, and all public areas. Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff on reception and shuttle cars. Plenty of good fresh food at breakfast. Free beach umbrellas and loungers on lovely beach looking out towards Naples and Vesuvius. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Very good value for money.

Overall a good stay! Service was great. Location is wonderful-right on the beach and a 15 min drive to Sorrento. Has access to lounge chairs and umbrellas. The marina nearby provides access to boat rentals, excursions to Capri, Positano, etc. Since the hotel is down by the beach, the parking is situated at the top and you would have to be shuttled to the hotel. It’s a quick 2 min drive and the shuttle service is available until 12:00 a.m. The restaurant below La Tavernatta was fabulous. Great service, great food, great ambiance! We ate there every night during our stay. It’s a really cute beach but I would recommend that they try to clean it once in awhile (too many cigarette butts).

Was a great experience as it was right on the beach. Hidden from Sorrento's main tourist locations, it was great because it was quite. A place where local Italians go. Enjoyed the restaurant/bar that had bfast included and discount to meals (good food). Staff was very courteous and helpful. Good A/C, clean and room accomodations. The only inconvenience is how you get there and get out. A very steep trail to parking or bus from the hotel. They provide transportation via golf cart but if you have people in front of you, you are looking at ~30 minutes. It wasn't terrible but just caution if you expect to walk out of the hotel, jump in your car/bus and start enjoying other places. Beach was clean and water was clear and refreshing. I would go back to this hotel.

The property is very nice, clean, you can get an ocean view room, it has a beach. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking that is high in the mountain and you have to take a shuttle to go to the hotel. We got there at 1am and we were lost. They never informed us where to park. They told us the shuttle was closed after midnight. Thank God we had a small car and went down the mountain hoping to find the hotel. We did, we got our luggages down and then the guy at the front desk went on his small car to show my husband the parking lot up the mountain. They charge you $10 euros each way when is after midnight or before 8am. I wish they could have explained us better the parking situation before our arrival. Also, they should have coordinate better how we were going to meet to get to the hotel if they knew we were getting there after midnight. I called many times before going there and they said just call us when you are at the airport. We did and they said the shuttle is closed.

Four restaurant options facing beach. Shuttle to bus stop and parking lot invaluable. Very, very steep with tons of steps to get down to property. Only negative, breakfast wasn’t much and could be improved.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Baia. From the moment we arrived, we knew we stumbled upon a hidden gem. The shuttle service was exceptional. The connected restaurant served up culinary delights that left us craving more, the gnocchi was exceptional. The hotel's prime location right on the beach, with private access, was the epitome of relaxation. But what truly made our stay memorable was the warm and welcoming staff, whose hospitality made us feel right at home. Can't wait to return to this slice of paradise!

Beautiful hotel clean with ocean vibe decorated rooms. Hotel has very nice reception workers and staff. very helpful and accommodating to clients. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a stay in Mass Lubrense, Italy I rate it a 10 Beach is directly across the hotel.

We loved Hotel Baia! We had some issues with our first room (e.g., clogged drain, stained sheets, no service), however the receptionist happily moved us to a better room. The beach area was beautiful and the food at the restaurant was amazing (especially the ravioli and gnocchi)! The staff were also super helpful; they helped us book an amazing boat ride to Capri and get an early morning taxi for a flight. The shuttle into Sorrento was also great! We recommend this hotel!

Das Hotel befindet sich nur ein paar Meter entfernt von Meer. Das Personal ist freundlich und verfügbar für jedes Wünsch. Sie anbieten auch ein Transfer Service von Hotel zu Parkplatz (und umgekehrt auch) sodass für die Gäste leichter ist, das hotel zu erreichen. Unsere Zimmer war sauber und komfortable, Klimaanlage ist auch dabei. Wir waren sehr begeistert und wir werden sicher wieder gehen!

Rummet var inget likt någon av bilderna. Badrummet hade kraftigt med svartmögel och inte rörts sen det byggdes på 70-talet. Det fanns en AC på rummet men fjärrkontrollen saknade fungerande display vilket gjorde temperaturvalet något svårt. Själva läget va lite trevligt men det krävdes en 5min bilresa med ”courtesy car” för att inte komma in till stan utan till en busshållplats med där man kan ta bussen in fyra gånger per timme. Maten på hotellet är något man ska undvika till varje pris. Frukosten är tolererbar men inget man drömmer tillbaka till.

Beautiful marina and nice hotel. But the double room with sea view didn’t have a real sea view. From the bed, we could only see the buildings and not the sea at all. The hotel should really put the bed against the other side of the room to avoid sun in the face in the morning and maximize the view on the sea. A bit disappointed to have paid an extra for a sea view and not really have it. Amazing location though!

The place is right on the beach which is beautiful. The staff are not very friendly and often treat guests as being an inconvenience. The rooms are extremely close and you can hear it everything. At night there is extremely loud music playing until after 2 am. There is no sound proofing which made it extremely hard to sleep which was needed especially when there are early morning activities. Transportation is a huge issue there and that nakes it hard to stay at. The area is beautiful but we would not stay again. If the staff were better it would grately make up for the manu inconveniences

Getting to the property from Sorrento is very easy, if you take the bus or a taxi. My brother and I walked; it was a beautiful walk, but very long, and a little dangerous as we had to walk along the side of the road. This is not the hotel's fault/problem by any mean; just a forewarning to anyone staying in this area (don't walk unless you want to get an extra 10-12k steps in that day!) The hotel itself was beautiful. Fantastic view of the ocean from our balcony. The restaurant next door had great food for all meals of the day. A perfect little bay with just a few hotels, so nice and private. The only "issue" I had was with the firmness of the bed; it was too firm and thus uncomfortable for me. The pillows were also not amazing. Otherwise, I would definitely book here again, and recommend it to any of my friends or family looking to stay in the area.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful setting. Room was not big, but very comfortable with a balcony and beautiful flowers. Staying in the room, we could here waves. Beach is very nice, just don’t forget to bring swimming shoes. Every one in the hotel and restaurant for breakfast were very helpful. The only thing we didn’t like, was shower, water was switching to cold all the time. But would comeback and stay there again!

Bokat familjerum för 5 personer. På rummet fanns endast 2 handdukar och schampo för 2 personer. Air conditioning var väldigt undermålig och gick endast korta stunder på någon minut innan den stannade och kunde återstartas efter liten stund. Detta felanmäldes omgående till receptionen men ingen förbättring skedde trots deras löften. Detta gjorde att rummet var enormt varmt då enda fönstret vette mot en 2m bred innergård. Solstolar och parasoll skulle ingå enligt beskrivningen och det gjorde det, men endast 1 parasoll och 2 solstolar per rum oavsett hur många som bodde i rummet. Efter en del argumenterande fick vi 2 parasoll och 5 solstolar.

Rummet var inget likt någon av bilderna. Badrummet hade kraftigt med svartmögel och inte rörts sen det byggdes på 70-talet. Det fanns en AC på rummet men fjärrkontrollen saknade fungerande display vilket gjorde temperaturvalet något svårt. Själva läget va lite trevligt men det krävdes en 5min bilresa med ”courtesy car” för att inte komma in till stan utan till en busshållplats med där man kan ta bussen in fyra gånger per timme. Maten på hotellet är något man ska undvika till varje pris. Frukosten är tolererbar men inget man drömmer tillbaka till.

We had no idea how wonderful this hotel would be! If we could give it an 11/10 we would. The location was a bus and shuttle ride out of Sorrento, so if you are looking to stay somewhere a bit more chilled out I recommend it. As well, the free hotel shuttle that takes you up to the bus stop makes it very easy to get into town. The staff was so helpful and friendly with all our needs, especially with the 24 hour reception. The marina that the hotel is located in is BEAUTIFUL and the beach club that you can go to for free with the hotel out the front is a perfect way to spend a day. The included breakfast buffet is in a beautiful place and great food and coffee. The rooms are equipped with aircon, TV and a mini fridge, as well as a stocked bathroom. The bed is comfy too. I highly recommend you stay here if you are looking for a beachside vacation on the beautiful Amalfi Coast.

The place is right on the beach which is beautiful. The staff are not very friendly and often treat guests as being an inconvenience. The rooms are extremely close and you can hear it everything. At night there is extremely loud music playing until after 2 am. There is no sound proofing which made it extremely hard to sleep which was needed especially when there are early morning activities. Transportation is a huge issue there and that nakes it hard to stay at. The area is beautiful but we would not stay again. If the staff were better it would grately make up for the manu inconveniences

The staff were not very helpful or nice. Their shuttle driver hit me and then ran my foot over with a golf cart as he was not paying attention. All the staff did was give me some ice. Not even a free dinner to make up for this accident caused by their man. There are little to no signs for the hotel, and the one hidden sign only shows part of the name. Their location on maps does not match their location. It is extremely difficult to get to the hotel. Although only 2km from Sorrento, their shuttle will not come to get you. You must take a bus out of town to a parking lot and the golf cart shuttle will pick you up at the top of the hill. He is a crazy driver. The beach front was really nice but again staff were not friendly or helpful in assigning you are spot on the beach.

We loved Hotel Baia! We had some issues with our first room (e.g., clogged drain, stained sheets, no service), however the receptionist happily moved us to a better room. The beach area was beautiful and the food at the restaurant was amazing (especially the ravioli and gnocchi)! The staff were also super helpful; they helped us book an amazing boat ride to Capri and get an early morning taxi for a flight. The shuttle into Sorrento was also great! We recommend this hotel!

Getting to the property from Sorrento is very easy, if you take the bus or a taxi. My brother and I walked; it was a beautiful walk, but very long, and a little dangerous as we had to walk along the side of the road. This is not the hotel's fault/problem by any mean; just a forewarning to anyone staying in this area (don't walk unless you want to get an extra 10-12k steps in that day!) The hotel itself was beautiful. Fantastic view of the ocean from our balcony. The restaurant next door had great food for all meals of the day. A perfect little bay with just a few hotels, so nice and private. The only "issue" I had was with the firmness of the bed; it was too firm and thus uncomfortable for me. The pillows were also not amazing. Otherwise, I would definitely book here again, and recommend it to any of my friends or family looking to stay in the area.

Was a great experience as it was right on the beach. Hidden from Sorrento's main tourist locations, it was great because it was quite. A place where local Italians go. Enjoyed the restaurant/bar that had bfast included and discount to meals (good food). Staff was very courteous and helpful. Good A/C, clean and room accomodations. The only inconvenience is how you get there and get out. A very steep trail to parking or bus from the hotel. They provide transportation via golf cart but if you have people in front of you, you are looking at ~30 minutes. It wasn't terrible but just caution if you expect to walk out of the hotel, jump in your car/bus and start enjoying other places. Beach was clean and water was clear and refreshing. Slightly remote and Taxis are unable to access. Hotel had power issues during visit and no shuttle pick-up me up from taxi stop. Had to walk narrow path up and down hill with luggage 15m.

Overall a good stay! Service was great. Location is wonderful-right on the beach and a 15 min drive to Sorrento. Has access to lounge chairs and umbrellas. The marina nearby provides access to boat rentals, excursions to Capri, Positano, etc. Since the hotel is down by the beach, the parking is situated at the top and you would have to be shuttled to the hotel. It’s a quick 2 min drive and the shuttle service is available until 12:00 a.m. The restaurant below La Tavernatta was fabulous. Great service, great food, great ambiance! We ate there every night during our stay. It’s a really cute beach but I would recommend that they try to clean it once in awhile (too many cigarette butts).

Thankfully, Luigi, who was running the shuttle service, was excellent. He was friendly, helpful and supported us really well throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel itself was good, but the lack of a window, the ventilation smell and the reliance on the shuttle are things I would have liked to know before booking.

This hotel has a unique and authentic location but is not near the main Sorrento attractions, so logistics are challenging… especially for boat trips. The attached restaurant and dining/ drinking options were solid. The front desk staff is not great at communicating details which led to timing and cost complexity a few times. The “family room with a partial sea view” was simply a misrepresentation. There was no sea view from our room. It was a view of trash cans. And the room in general was low quality…considering the price.
