This property was perfect for what we needed! The kids loved having a spa bath at night and us parents also enjoyed it while watching the sunset on the balcony. The coffee machine was brilliant, having a dishwasher was also great and the gift on arrival was so thoughtful! We also brought out slow cooker with us and arriving home from a big day out exploring to a cooked meal was the best. Huge thanks to the owners for making it such a smooth booking process.

Lovely property... easy access and check in. Hotel staff drove us from the pier to the villa, as we had a lot of equipment with us. We would probably take our own car next time, as the hills can a little challenging if you have young children We had a family of Kookaburras come to visit every morning and afternoon which was also really nice.

Spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Generous hosts (left us a welcoming gift and offered an early check-in due to the weather) who communicated well. An easy walk to the resort and all of its attractions, including the jetty which offered hours of fishing fun. A fantastic base from which to explore the island. We will happily return.

Overall it is a beautiful place to stay, however just a couple of points for future reference for the owners (wish there was a way to personally email this, rather than the Web), but there isn't so. We'd just suggest that cleaners check and clean windows and fly screen areas to remove the number of bugs etc, plus perhaps fix some as you can't leave some windows open. Next sadly the washing machine lint catches had never been cleaned in ages. We had to clean them all out and do a drum clean before washing. Unfortunately there is inadequate parking for yourself and or perhaps guests. Many times you were never able to park in your designated area and signage for guest was not enough. For a 6 night stay perhaps more than 3 rubbish bags be left and soap dispensers or shower dispensers be topped up, saving guest to purchase more. The owners were very quick to respond to any request before we arrived and were very supportive. The villa had everything you needed for a stay.

Our accommodation was amazing, very clean and well maintained. We had a little bit of confusion initially about where our 3yr old would sleep but once we found the portacot that was fine. We couldnt utilise the bbq unfortunately though as it had no gas! Our welcome basket was a beautiful touch, we loved it. Thankyou

Our family had a fabulous stay on K'gari in the Pandanus Villa. The villa was immaculate and it had everything we needed. The outdoor bath was so amazing, and was the ultimate way to relax at the end of the day. Thanks for the memorable stay!

We stayed 5 nights, it was beautiful, modern furniture, clean and easy to maintain. We had a fantastic stay, the owners were very quick to respond when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the villa. I will not hesitate to book again

We had a really enjoyable holiday, the apartment was really really clean with lots of nice finishing touches, the popcorn and chocolate welcome pack was a nice surprise. It was really sad to leave, everyday we had Kookaburras on the balcony in the morning and sugar gliders in the evening. we’re already thinking about when we can come back but stay a bit longer. If your reading this review and wondering if its where you would like to stay, I would just tell you to book it asap, you wont be disappointed. If I could more than 5 stars I would. This was the best Fraser Island holiday so far. To the owners - Thank You for creating a beautiful holiday home.

Lovely and spacious villa in a quiet setting and it had everything you could possibly need, including some little extras. Great if you're there with rhe whole family or a small group. The only downside was the steep hill to walk up to get to the villa if you don't have a car or if you're there at the wrong times to not access the shuttle bus, especially if carrying heavy bags.

The house was the perfect place to come back to after exploring the beautiful island. The artwork in the home inspired more destinations on the island and the place had everything we needed. Rest to have enough lounge space for the whole family in comfort. Really loved our time here and are looking to rebook in the very near future. Could have easily spent another week here.

Problem was.. without booking through Kingfisher themselves.. they refused to help us get luggage and esky, to accommodate, and gave to face refused to help with return to barge.. so did damage to is both ways

We had a really enjoyable holiday, the apartment was really really clean with lots of nice finishing touches, the popcorn and chocolate welcome pack was a nice surprise. It was really sad to leave, everyday we had Kookaburras on the balcony in the morning and sugar gliders in the evening. we’re already thinking about when we can come back but stay a bit longer. If your reading this review and wondering if its where you would like to stay, I would just tell you to book it asap, you wont be disappointed. If I could more than 5 stars I would. Lovely property... easy access and check in. Hotel staff drove us from the pier to the villa, as we had a lot of equipment with us. We would probably take our own car next time, as the hills can a little challenging if you have young children We had a family of Kookaburras come to visit every morning and afternoon which was also really nice.

Spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Generous hosts (left us a welcoming gift and offered an early check-in due to the weather) who communicated well. An easy walk to the resort and all of its attractions, including the jetty which offered hours of fishing fun. A fantastic base from which to explore the island. We will happily return.

This property was perfect for what we needed! The kids loved having a spa bath at night and us parents also enjoyed it while watching the sunset on the balcony. The coffee machine was brilliant, having a dishwasher was also great and the gift on arrival was so thoughtful! We also brought out slow cooker with us and arriving home from a big day out exploring to a cooked meal was the best. Huge thanks to the owners for making it such a smooth booking process.

Was a great house, in a fantastic location. Comfortable bed, clean shower, loads of parking, close to the Resort (expensive beers) great view from the balcony. Kitchen is well equipped. We had a great stay👍

Our accommodation was amazing, very clean and well maintained. We had a little bit of confusion initially about where our 3yr old would sleep but once we found the portacot that was fine. We couldnt utilise the bbq unfortunately though as it had no gas! Our welcome basket was a beautiful touch, we loved it. Thankyou

The villa was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of space and beautiful views from every window. Spa was an added and enjoyable bonus. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and the esky carry bag came in handy on our outings. Thoroughly recommend.

We were impressed with the attention to detail and multiple extras included for our stay. Communication and information provided was excellent and responsiveness was very quick.The bbq was brilliant, the kitchen had everything we needed plus lots more. The picnic backpack was super handy

Basing your adventures on K’gari at King Fisher Bay in the Pandanus Holiday Villas hosted by Melanie and Adam is one of the best holiday decisions you can make. The Villas are set within a forest overlooking the bay and you are sure to be visited by kingfishers in the late afternoon on the back deck. If you bring a 4WD or hire one near the villa, you can be sure you’ll see the best of this incredibly idyllic and pristine island which has heritage listed forests, perched lakes and fascinating wildlife. There are well signposted treks and places of historic interest including ship wrecks and great places to swim. Don’t let the driving on sand put you off, it’s an amazing place you’ll fall in love with and return to. We had the best stay, our accomodation was outstanding, thank you so much, the attention to detail made all the difference. We arrived in a heat wave but the house is designed for all temperatures so it was comfortable and spacious. We wanted for nothing and there are restaurants and a shop within a short walk but far enough away that you feel separate from the activity of the small settlement in the bay. Enjoy your K’gari holiday, just do it.
