The hotel building and facilities are relatively new. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of varieties. Make sure you ask for a room with window view of the theme park. The view of the lights of the theme park and people playing in the theme park is gorgeous. There's the new big mall Central icity just 3 mins walking distance from the hotel. I LOVE this mall, it has everything you would need or want to buy. The mall is also very spacious, lots of shops and dining areas, and very clean as well. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I love the experience.

This was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The WhatsApp message contact was really handy and I was able to message requests easily. They were all taken care of, including printing a document. The location, facilities and room were also excellent. A great place to stay.

Had a great stay at the Double Tree Shah Alam I-City. Outstanding service from the front desk, room service, restaurant, fitness team and security staff. The rooms were clean, modern and new. The Central mall next door is a plus. Will return next time I visit.

+ The room was an adequate size. + The location was good. + The hotel was generally clean. + The pool and facilities appeared clean. + The welcome cookie was a nice touch. - Not much variety of food options. - We decided to cancel the breakfast we had paid for as there were very limited gluten free options (only egg and yoghurt). The kitchen staff also seemed very unwilling to make something alternate whereas other hotels we stayed at were much more accommodating and went the extra mile to make things like GF pancakes. - Some of the staff felt very unwelcoming, especially the guy at the pool who was staring at us both the whole time we were there. It was only us, and he was mopping the floor and just watching us for nearly an hour. This made us feel really uncomfortable and we went back to our room and didn't use the pool again for this reason. - The lattes we ordered to the room in the morning were only half full. - We also ordered fruit juice to the room which took over an hour to arrive. - There were yellow marks on the head board of the bed and yellow scum marks around the bathroom sink. - The tap water kept turning brown. Overall, the stay was okay but definitely not what we expected from a 5*hotel nor a reputable chain like Hilton. We thought we were treating ourselves to a few nights of luxury but we're disappointed. We wouldn't stay here again.

New hotel with a very nice pool for families. Staffs are well trained and very professional. The location is a little bit off if you are in KL for holiday. However, I will stay in this hotel for my next visit as Grab in MY is cheap enough.

Property is in a very good location. Staff were very good and the service is also good. Place was bit noisy in the nighttime and couldn’t sleep comfortably during night time. Toilet in Room 1002 was smelling really bad. Rest all was good.

Property is new and clean but can be better (spotted a stain on the sink and it is still there after house keeping, guess all hotels nowadays do not do a thorough clean anymore) Water pressure in the shower is very bad, usual 15 mins bath time would probably takes 30 mins.

Stayed from 11th of April till 17th of April. Our Room had great view. Bed was comfortable. Tv had limited channels. Staff is extremely caring. Very courteous, ready to help. Breakfast had variety. There was a choice of Malay, Indian, Chinese and western. Fruits were not much of choice, there was watermelon, melon and maybe pineapple. Teh tarik was luke warm extremely sweet sickly taste. Coffee was a great let down. Our room showers were a let down. The cubicle is so small to accommodate for the massive bath which is a waste of space. Shower leaks through the shower door. The floor towel was soaked and had to use another to step on to a dryer towel.

While the warm welcome cookie is always a nice touch, the true highlight of our stay was the exceptional customer service, particularly from a staff member named Jordan. This was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The WhatsApp message contact was really handy and I was able to message requests easily. They were all taken care of, including printing a document. The location, facilities and room were also excellent. A great place to stay.

Had a great stay at the Double Tree Shah Alam I-City. Outstanding service from the front desk, room service, restaurant, fitness team and security staff. The rooms were clean, modern and new. The Central mall next door is a plus. Will return next time I visit.

Though I was there for just 1 night enroute to Singapore from northern Malaysia..had a pleasant stay with good interaction with Cheryl and other at the Front desk and also housekeeping. Very well kept hotel. Recommended.

The hotel building and facilities are relatively new. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of varieties. Make sure you ask for a room with window view of the theme park. The view of the lights of the theme park and people playing in the theme park is gorgeous. There's the new big mall Central icity just 3 mins walking distance from the hotel. I LOVE this mall, it has everything you would need or want to buy. The mall is also very spacious, lots of shops and dining areas, and very clean as well. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I love the experience.

Property is in a very good location. Staff were very good and the service is also good. Place was bit noisy in the nighttime and couldn’t sleep comfortably during night time. Toilet in Room 1002 was smelling really bad. Rest all was good.

New hotel with a very nice pool for families. Staffs are well trained and very professional. The location is a little bit off if you are in KL for holiday. However, I will stay in this hotel for my next visit as Grab in MY is cheap enough.

+ The room was an adequate size. + The location was good. + The hotel was generally clean. + The pool and facilities appeared clean. + The welcome cookie was a nice touch. - Not much variety of food options. - We decided to cancel the breakfast we had paid for as there were very limited gluten free options (only egg and yoghurt). The kitchen staff also seemed very unwilling to make something alternate whereas other hotels we stayed at were much more accommodating and went the extra mile to make things like GF pancakes. - Some of the staff felt very unwelcoming, especially the guy at the pool who was staring at us both the whole time we were there. It was only us, and he was mopping the floor and just watching us for nearly an hour. This made us feel really uncomfortable and we went back to our room and didn't use the pool again for this reason. - The lattes we ordered to the room in the morning were only half full. - We also ordered fruit juice to the room which took over an hour to arrive. - There were yellow marks on the head board of the bed and yellow scum marks around the bathroom sink. - The tap water kept turning brown. Overall, the stay was okay but definitely not what we expected from a 5*hotel nor a reputable chain like Hilton. We thought we were treating ourselves to a few nights of luxury but we're disappointed. We wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed from 11th of April till 17th of April. Our Room had great view. Bed was comfortable. Tv had limited channels. Staff is extremely caring. Very courteous, ready to help. Breakfast had variety. There was a choice of Malay, Indian, Chinese and western. Fruits were not much of choice, there was watermelon, melon and maybe pineapple. Teh tarik was luke warm extremely sweet sickly taste. Coffee was a great let down. Our room showers were a let down. The cubicle is so small to accommodate for the massive bath which is a waste of space. Shower leaks through the shower door. The floor towel was soaked and had to use another to step on to a dryer towel.

Decided to try the Doubletree just for a change and we were pleasantly surprised, amazing hotel here with great amenities, walking access to the I-city mall which was great for our short stay. Didn’t need to fight the traffic to get to mid valley this time… Hotel is about 4yrs old so everything works as it should. Will stay here again in the future.

This is a lovely property that is attached to a mall. So there are plenty of food options. The room was well-maintained, though the pillows were too flat. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
