So the resort was great. It is definitely a resort, not just a hotel. Location: it's a 25 minute drive to Taormina, where the great restaurants and shops are. We found a parking lot and parked every day for 6 euros until midnight. Staying in Taormina with a car is a non-starter. I don't know if the hotel has a shuttle into town. The town of Naxos also has dining that is walkable from the hotel. Hotel: There was live music every day. Free parking. Tennis courts and pools. Multiple bars and restaurants. It was a lively place, though it skews older and attracts the tour bus set. There is an attached beach with hundreds of loungers that can be reserved (or sat on until the reservers come). The downside is that it is a pebble beach, not a sand beach. So no walking without sandals. The grounds are gorgeous. It feels like the Caribbean with all of the palm trees. The hotel is on the way to Catania (do not stay in Catania if you can help it, ESPECIALLY with a car. It's a slum and I've never seen such awful driving) and Syracuse if you want to do day trips like we did. Tolls between Naxos and Catania are under 2 euros. The room was comfy, but they use those dual single beds to create a queen and I fell in-between them once. I don't know how these still exist. The place is very clean. I definitely recommend the Unahotel Naxos. And when I return to the region, as I am sure to do, I would make it a point to try to stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my all inclusive two week stay. The food was excellent, the pools were never crowded and the beach was beautiful. The concierge was very helpful with organising trips. It was very helpful that the hotel organised a shuttle service to Taormina too. My only criticism was that it might have been helpful if the restaurant staff staggered putting out the antipasti dishes because if you didn’t arrive at the beginning of dinner the choice became limited because many of the plates were finished, but this is only a minor criticism.

We really enjoyed this location as well as the hotel. Beautiful pools, nice beach and close to a few good restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very large hotel with nice beach (need water shoes) and two pools. The pools were lovely, we enjoyed swimming in the large one. Good hotel but the signs and rules irritated me a bit. Signs saying things like you must wear a swim hat in the pool - nobody did fortunately but still signs with lists of rules. Also you booked your beach loungers at 8:30 if you wanted a free one (most had a charge!) and no way to give it back, so despite beach often empty, we had to sit at the back or conform to the 8:30 queues. There should be a method to say when they can be reallocated. I didn’t like paying for beach towels (only 2e each) or to book the ‘better’ beach loungers. Expensive to get the level with proper uv protection umbrellas as opposed to quaint woven holey ones. Water beautifully clear and plenty of life guards. Hiring paddle boards was fun. Breakfast buffet great. But again rules - you had to go to the location allocated to your room and have a card scanned per person - one per group not enough. Quite a long walk or short drive from Naxos harbour/main beaches, but restaurants and shops nearby. Room average, cleaning good. Overall happy with the hotel despite it feeling impersonal and not luxurious. A good basic family hotel with good facilities on a nice steeply shelved beach (stones into the water and drops off fast). Our son is 14 so we didn’t need kids clubs etc but they looked good. I miss going to the kids disco :(

Is a great sports hotel with many facilities to do sports, like tennis, football, yoga, gym and an Olympic pool, additional to a deep dive club and many day activities that can be hired at the hotel, as well as tours. It also have a large private beach, with all facilities. It is a big complex, ideal for families , couples and whoever want to do sports. The views from the room to the volcano and the sea are beautiful. I see only 3 issues, 1) the options to eat, outside the official meal hours are a bit poor. 2) the beach sand is not the nicest is quite rocky and ashy, but the sea is super clean and transparent. 3) The breakfast finishes too early and the eggs are horrible, bad cooked, they can put an omelette station, would be much better.

Struttura già visitata molto bella ed ampia con più piscine e servizi, ampio parcheggio interno, colazione a buffet molto vasta e discreta qualità, camera ampia ma condizionatore senza telecomando con proiezione direttamente sul letto (da non potersi usare), personale sempre gentile e disponibile ed accurato, tranne il cameriere (maschio) della pizzeria molto sgarbato ed arrogante si da farci preferire cenare altrove.

Clean but shower did not drain and backed up into entire bathroom and started to run into room. Called to let them know about problem but not sure they understood drain issue. Cleaned the room up and brought all new towels. But it did it again the next morning when my husband showered. Check out was at 10 am so u could not shower.

Overall disappointed and wouldn't come back. Family villas meant for 2 adults and 2 kids are on 2nd floor without elevators, so you need to carry kids, strollers and beach belonging 10 times a day upstairs and downstairs, only one of the rooms in villa has AC, so kids rooms was always 30+ hot and we had ants in room all the time. Getting around the resort is difficult as only 2 places have roads for stollers, otherwise a lot of stairs ... breakfast is okay, but again not much for kids, no porridge, or pancakes or waffles, yougurts only with sugar. You need to pay to use beach zone or get towels. To apologize for inconvenience hotel offered us free dinner at pizzeria, but after we ate they made us pay for it ... so we had to compain again to get money back, too much stress and problems overall

Overall the property was ok. We had a big problem with ants in our room which was very unfortunate. They did offer to clean and spray the room but that did not help The town of Giardini Naxos where this hotel is located does not have much going on and is quite a walk to get to the marina area. What we did like was the pool and beach area. Just wonderful! The breakfast was mediocre. If I returned to this area I would have chosen somewhere else.

Relaxed atmosphere throughout the property, spotlessly clean and even have shower rooms for you when you have vacated your room on departure day. Fantastic buffet breakfast. The only downside is people reserving beds by the pool for hours without using them. The beach is to the rear of the property however the beds are expensive and should be included in your stay price.

Appena arrivati ci hanno assegnato una specie di villetta esterna purtroppo in pessime condizioni con box doccia anni 60 ammuffito e ragni sulle pareti. Dopo aver insisto e quasi litigato con receptionista straniera è intervenuta una collega italiana che scusandosi ci ha fatto upgrade camera in Hotel. Ottima colazione e buona la nuova camera purtroppo con scarico doccia intasato. Nel complesso la struttura è deludente e NON vale gli oltre 200 euro a notte richiesti. Dispiace ma mai più

A nice resort hotel set on the beach. Our room was clean and tidy and although the bathroom was on the smaller side it was perfectly fine for the two of us. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and the staff were all friendly

Be careful in this hotel, they stolen my AirPod from my bag, after I used my iCloud and find the address where they use, very unsafe room Think again before you book also my room was have bed bugs, for my job I am traveling all over world and it’s my first time I give a bad feed back to hotel unsafe again

We saw cockroaches and the hotel manger laughing offered a room with a shower so small I couldn’t fit in it and more cockroaches .That area in Sicily isn’t a good area for a family we had actual had armed guards at the entrance . We left this property after 2 nights . I had to beg the manager at the Taromina grand excelsior for a room for my family . I asked the hotel for a refund for the 3 nights the hotel manager said it’s up to your company and took no responsibility. My family was happy to leave Una hotel. BYW my wife and I have thousands of followers on X, Facebook and instagram

Family villas meant for 2 adults and 2 kids are on 2nd floor without elevators, so you need to carry kids, strollers and beach belonging 10 times a day upstairs and downstairs, only one of the rooms in villa has AC, so kids rooms was always 30+ hot and we had ants in room all the time. Getting around the resort is difficult as only 2 places have roads for stollers, otherwise a lot of stairs ... breakfast is okay, but again not much for kids, no porridge, or pancakes or waffles, yougurts only with sugar. We stayed for 3 nights in early May, the hotel is very clean and offers many facilities. The food is good, the pool area is very nice as is the access to the beach. Sunbeds get uncomfortable after a while as they have no padding. The room is nice and ours had views of Etna to one side and the sea to the other, only grey area is the bathroom was dated and could do with a refit.

Ottima esperienza. Splendidi giardini, belle piscine, belle camere ampie e moderne, la quadrupla aveva una seconda stanza per i bambini, solo i bagni dovrebbero essere rinnovati. Mare splendido, ombrelloni però a pagamento. Necessario a nostro avviso acquistare l'upgrade per fare colazione alla Casa del Massaro e cena alla Stella di Mare, esperienze top anche se piu costose. Ristorante Oasis che è quello incluso offre cibo buono ma sembra una mensa con grande caos, aria condizionata a palla e scarso servizio.

The resort is well equipped with friendly staff . The evening show is well organized and entertaining . However, even tho the room we booked says it is a villa, it is actually a very small room for less than 300sq ft. We have 2 adult and 1 three year old . The room is quite small . We stay there mostly for nap and sleep. The bathroom need upgrade to make to 4 star standard .

Room was ok but patio doors didn’t faster correctly. Live music until midnight most nights so if you are an early to bed early riser it’s noisy. Poor understanding of gluten free and no choice at evening meal time although manager was helpful. Well located and nice beach although beach side restaurant wasn’t open in Sept. I thoroughly enjoyed my all inclusive two week stay. The food was excellent, the pools were never crowded and the beach was beautiful. The concierge was very helpful with organising trips. It was very helpful that the hotel organised a shuttle service to Taormina too. My only criticism was that it might have been helpful if the restaurant staff staggered putting out the antipasti dishes because if you didn’t arrive at the beginning of dinner the choice became limited because many of the plates were finished, but this is only a minor criticism.

Great place for familly stay thanks to a great people that work there. Especially Andrea from the front desk, who deeply cares about his guest, and is a role model for enitre hospitality industry! Kids club team was also very friendly with true Italian kindness and fun!

Bel hôtel, chambre très confortable et décorée avec goût. Communs et chambre très propres Nous sommes venus en couple, payés le même tarif et pourtant nous n' avons pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner ensemble. Il y avait 2 salles. Pas assez de transat autour de la piscine et éjecté de la plage de l hôtel car pas de réservation.... malgré mes explications le garçon de plage n' a rien voulu savoir. Nous nous sommes installés au sol sur les galets avec notre enfant 2 jours dans ce bel hôtel 4 étoiles. Dommage car avec plus de transats, un petit déjeuner plus copieux (oeufs sur le plat, confiture maison, fruits mûres, jus d'orange frais) tout serait parfait. Merci au personnel de l' accueil pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme.

We saw cockroaches and the hotel manger laughing offered a room with a shower so small I couldn’t fit in it and more cockroaches .That area in Sicily isn’t a good area for a family we had actual had armed guards at the entrance . We left this property after 2 nights . I had to beg the manager at the Taromina grand excelsior for a room for my family . I asked the hotel for a refund for the 3 nights the hotel manager said it’s up to your company and took no responsibility. My family was happy to leave Una hotel. BYW my wife and I have thousands of followers on X, Facebook and instagram

Love the hotel and all of the amenities, activities, and food choices offered. The private beach was perfect and with the restaurants, bars, and pools one wouldn’t have to leave to hotel if they did not want to. My one dissatisfaction is the service overall was very slow - everything from questions to check in was a 15-20min process. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this to friends and family!

Nice large resort located on the beach with two pools and a beach club. while we didn't use the pool, we did use the beach club all day and loved it.! very friendly service and great location will definitely stay again if in the area. For the value this was an excellent stay. It also has entertainment, so it feels like a cruise ship a little bit.

So the resort was great. It is definitely a resort, not just a hotel. Location: it's a 25 minute drive to Taormina, where the great restaurants and shops are. We found a parking lot and parked every day for 6 euros until midnight. Staying in Taormina with a car is a non-starter. I don't know if the hotel has a shuttle into town. The town of Naxos also has dining that is walkable from the hotel. Hotel: There was live music every day. Free parking. Tennis courts and pools. Multiple bars and restaurants. It was a lively place, though it skews older and attracts the tour bus set. There is an attached beach with hundreds of loungers that can be reserved (or sat on until the reservers come). The downside is that it is a pebble beach, not a sand beach. So no walking without sandals. The grounds are gorgeous. It feels like the Caribbean with all of the palm trees. The hotel is on the way to Catania (do not stay in Catania if you can help it, ESPECIALLY with a car. It's a slum and I've never seen such awful driving) and Syracuse if you want to do day trips like we did. Tolls between Naxos and Catania are under 2 euros. The room was comfy, but they use those dual single beds to create a queen and I fell in-between them once. I don't know how these still exist. The place is very clean. I definitely recommend the Unahotel Naxos. And when I return to the region, as I am sure to do, I would make it a point to try to stay here again.

Bathrooms need a renovation desperately. Grounds were nice, pools were lovely. Beach was just ok - no sand, just stones and shells. Charging for beach chairs and umbrellas on top of day rate is in poor taste. Hotel is fairly far from Taormina. Had I known exactly how far, I would have booked elsewhere. My kids enjoyed it, however, because of the pool and the grounds. Next time, I'd book in the center of town in Taormina to avoid all of the back and forth to dinner/shopping/sightseeing. (We had no plans to do any of those in Giardini Naxos, so staying here was kind of a waste for us.)

Very large hotel with nice beach (need water shoes) and two pools. The pools were lovely, we enjoyed swimming in the large one. Good hotel but the signs and rules irritated me a bit. Signs saying things like you must wear a swim hat in the pool - nobody did fortunately but still signs with lists of rules. Also you booked your beach loungers at 8:30 if you wanted a free one (most had a charge!) and no way to give it back, so despite beach often empty, we had to sit at the back or conform to the 8:30 queues. There should be a method to say when they can be reallocated. I didn’t like paying for beach towels (only 2e each) or to book the ‘better’ beach loungers. Expensive to get the level with proper uv protection umbrellas as opposed to quaint woven holey ones. Water beautifully clear and plenty of life guards. Hiring paddle boards was fun. Breakfast buffet great. But again rules - you had to go to the location allocated to your room and have a card scanned per person - one per group not enough. Quite a long walk or short drive from Naxos harbour/main beaches, but restaurants and shops nearby. Room average, cleaning good. Overall happy with the hotel despite it feeling impersonal and not luxurious. A good basic family hotel with good facilities on a nice steeply shelved beach (stones into the water and drops off fast). Our son is 14 so we didn’t need kids clubs etc but they looked good. I miss going to the kids disco :(

Wir haben zwei Doppelzimmer gemietet in der 4. Etage. Bei einem Zimmer roch es im Bad nach Kanalisation. Auf dem Dach machten die Tauben oft Lärm in der Nacht. Es hat eine sehr gepflegte Parkanlage. Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Upgrade für das kleinere Frühstücksrestaurant war ein Highlight. Die Preise für Getränke und Essen sind im Hotelareal viel höher als in den Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Von der etwa 15 Minuten entfernten Busstation ist Taormina in 20 Minuten mit dem öffentlichen Bus erreichbar. Die Speisehalle ist recht ungemütlich und laut. Das Essen ist gut und vielfältig. Beim Dessert wären geschnittene Früchte und ein paar Eissorten zur Auswahl eine gute Ergänzung zu den oft sehr nahrhaften fetthaltigen Kuchen.

The so called luxury villa was nothing of the sort! It was dark and depressing and lacking basic amenities such as a kettle or plugs in the right places. It was very dated and run down. some attempt had been made to improve the dacor but the bathroom fittings were pitted and dated. The hotel did offer another room but it was much the same so we decided to put up with it. The staff were polite but not exactly friendly, except for the cleaning teams who were lovely, bright and cheerful and kept the room imaculately clean. The food was really quite dull. There was always a good cold buffet but the cooked meals were clearly designed to keep warm. It was also erratic. One day there was both sea bass and bream - beautifully cooked. The next day there was no fish and burgers seemed to be the main offereing. The food was of good quality but it felt like a works canteen rather than a hotel restaurant. The Gardens were lovely and the beach was pleasant.

Zimmer, Pool und Stramd super. Restaurant/ Frühstücksbereixh gleicht eher einer Katine. Sehr lieblos, steril und laut. Essen immer nur lauwarm und teilweise beim Frühstück Eier/Speck kalt. Saft wie Zuckerwasser.

Room was ok but bathroom had rust everywhere, on taps on soap holders in bidet & sink paint was coming off the towel rail, only one complementary carton of water, hot breakfast was terrible, no fried eggs no pancakes or waffles, dinner Buffett could of been better.

Ottima esperienza. Splendidi giardini, belle piscine, belle camere ampie e moderne, la quadrupla aveva una seconda stanza per i bambini, solo i bagni dovrebbero essere rinnovati. Mare splendido, ombrelloni però a pagamento. Necessario a nostro avviso acquistare l'upgrade per fare colazione alla Casa del Massaro e cena alla Stella di Mare, esperienze top anche se piu costose. Ristorante Oasis che è quello incluso offre cibo buono ma sembra una mensa con grande caos, aria condizionata a palla e scarso servizio.

Fint stort hotel med egen strand. Solstolar gratis. Handdukar att hyra om man ej hade. Stort poolområde. Flera restauranger fanns som såg trevliga ut. Provade bara pizzastället som var väldigt bra. Huvudrestaurangen stor och väldigt trist. Som en skolmatsal Buffestil så säkert tänkt mer för all inclusive gäster. Provade ej att äta annat än frukost som var ok men inte mer. Rörigt.

Is a great sports hotel with many facilities to do sports, like tennis, football, yoga, gym and an Olympic pool, additional to a deep dive club and many day activities that can be hired at the hotel, as well as tours. It also have a large private beach, with all facilities. It is a big complex, ideal for families , couples and whoever want to do sports. The views from the room to the volcano and the sea are beautiful. I see only 3 issues, 1) the options to eat, outside the official meal hours are a bit poor. 2) the beach sand is not the nicest is quite rocky and ashy, but the sea is super clean and transparent. 3) The breakfast finishes too early and the eggs are horrible, bad cooked, they can put an omelette station, would be much better.

Wir haben zwei Doppelzimmer gemietet in der 4. Etage. Bei einem Zimmer roch es im Bad nach Kanalisation. Auf dem Dach machten die Tauben oft Lärm in der Nacht. Es hat eine sehr gepflegte Parkanlage. Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Upgrade für das kleinere Frühstücksrestaurant war ein Highlight. Die Preise für Getränke und Essen sind im Hotelareal viel höher als in den Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Von der etwa 15 Minuten entfernten Busstation ist Taormina in 20 Minuten mit dem öffentlichen Bus erreichbar. Die Speisehalle ist recht ungemütlich und laut. Das Essen ist gut und vielfältig. Beim Dessert wären geschnittene Früchte und ein paar Eissorten zur Auswahl eine gute Ergänzung zu den oft sehr nahrhaften fetthaltigen Kuchen.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and ended up extending for two more nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire trip. Having breakfast on site was both convenient and delicious each morning, and a fun bonus was meeting all the adorable local cats and kittens in the area that ran right up to us! We did have a few issues with some of the things in the room being broken, such as the shower leaking a substantial amount of water onto the floor if the water hit the sliding partition, but we learned how to avoid that quickly after the first time. The beach is rocky, but that is a norm for the area. As long as you have water shoes, it is beautiful!
