Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß. Das Bad war leider schon sehr alt und es gab nur ein Handtuch pro Person. Wir hatten ein relativ ruhiges Zimmer zum Hinterhof. Da das Hotel an einer sehr belebten Straße liegt, sind die Zimmer zur Straße aber sehr laut. Das Frühstück wurde in der Bar serviert. Es war auf dem Teller portioniert und an allen vier Tagen genau gleich. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, sollte sich vorher nach einem Parkplatz umschauen. Das Hotel liegt in der blauen Zone. Die Parkplätze an der Straße kosten ca. 53 € pro Tag.

Nice big room, with good beds. Would be nice if there was a soap dispencer in the shower and at the toilet, instead of getting a small portion of soap in bag.

Free coffee at hotel pub. Walk to bus station nearby for city centre. Receptionust allowed for early check in and assisted with luggage. Entry into building esrly morning and late at night restricted. They neef a doorbell or keyed entry.

I gave 5 stars because the customer service was amazing. I got a complimentary drink at the bar and a free coffee while I waited for check in without even asking. There could be improvements like a fan or ac but the window opened helped. Also could be a little bit cleaner in the room but for the price of everything and it being close to the train 5 stars!

Værelse og seng er i princippet helt ok. Der tilbydes ingen parkering og off. parkering i området er både svært at finde og meget dyrt. Kunne ikke komme ind på hotel, da der ikke var nogen i reception og måtte vente længe da jeg ringede på døren.

Nice hotel with a pub

Almost no amenities — the hanger was broken, there were only two small and thin bath towels, the sofa was in very poor condition as if it had been picked up from the street, and the shower faucet was defective, among other issues. Overall, it felt like staying in an airless, empty room.

I became stuck in the elevator. Horrible experience. The bathroom sink leaked and I put a trashcan underneath to catch the water. No light in the hall on the 3rd floor. Guy at the desk was nice though. But when I called when I was stuck, did not pick up the phone.

The service is terrible. No one was there at reception, so I waited 10 minutes. Lift is old and can't even handle two people at a time!! washroom lock was broken and breakfast had very less options. Wifi is very very slow.

Nice little hotel, checking in is strictly 3pm and is done through connect sportsbar(really good bar). The room is very clean and spacious perfect for a short stay 2 days max, located very central and 15-20 minutes from the airport. It’s walking distance to all of cph attractions. Honestly better then I had expected for The price, didn’t do the breakfast so can’t review it.

Prezzo non particolarmente vantaggioso, ma condizioni pessime. Stanza sporca, odore sgradevole, coperta sporca e con bruciature di sigaretta, polvere ovunque e come ciliegina sulla torta un bagno sporco e pieno di muffa. Bad conditions ad very dirty place, at the coats of a normal hotel. Very unpleasant smell in the room, the blanket was dirty and full of cigarettes burns, the bathroom is run down and full of mold.

Dammigt på golvet i rummet. Det saknades självklara grejer tex pumptvål i badrummet, krokar för kläder tex. Personalen i receptionen och baren var dock behjälplig.

Rengøringen på badeværelset kunne godt have været bedre. Fliserne kunne godt trænge til at blive vasket lidt, toiletpapirholderen havde et tykt lag støv på. Spejlet var super fedtet efter rengøring mellem vores overnatninger. Receptionen stod til at skulle være åben fra kl 8.00, jeg tog i døren 8.45 og den var låst både udefra og fra gangen. Det ene nøglekort virkede ikke ind på rommet første morgen. Det virkede om aftenen da vi tjekkede ind. Der var ingen i receptionen, men fik fat i min mand som havde det andet nøglekort, så jeg kunne komme ind på værelset. Værelset lugtede af røg, tiltrods for røgfrit værelse. Værelset var stort, sengene var dejlig brede og der var en god varme på rommet

It was not as bad as some of the reviews indicate. The staff was nice - joking a little, which I like. But there were 2 bloodstains on the side of the bed, the bedside tables were not wiped for day 2, and there was a hole in the tubes under the sink, so you got your feet wet when washing hands. We could have used a hand towel. That the heat disappeared on the first night, was not caused by the hotel but the city.

Rummet var ostädat vid ankomst. Hår på golv, toalett och i säng. Fläckar på täcken. Receptionen rådde oss att inte använda hissen.

I will not stay here again. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing in several areas. The room was extremely noisy, and you could hear everything from the hallway and the other rooms, which made it difficult to relax. The cleaning also did not meet expectations. The floor was covered with a thin greasy layer, showing footprints from the cleaning, and along the walls there were dead insects that had clearly been there for a long time. The windows could not be closed properly because the latch was broken. This caused both a draft and a sense of lacking security. The bedding was also not fresh – it clearly smelled of sweat from previous guests, which made the experience unpleasant. All in all, the overall impression was that the place was neither maintained nor properly cleaned. This made the stay unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. I cannot recommend this hotel and will not return.

Sehr schmutzig

On the plus side: spaceous room, good location and price, plus we had two beers on the house upon arrival. However... the room had not been properly cleaned, proven by long black hairs in the bed. In the bathroom, the newly put in sealant between the floor tiles came off in chunks as it had not (yet?) been sanded over. In addition, the room had black mold around the windows as well as in the bathroom. Humid is an understatement. Had to ask for more toiled paper - in the adjacent bar. Touché.

It's clean, newly renovated and very convenient location. Good price too.

Værelset var pænt og rent. Alt hvad man behøver for at overnatte. TV, lille sofa, skrivebord og stol på værelset. Sengene var meget hårde, til vores smag. Personale var søde, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Et hav af restauranter, butikker og cykel udlejning op og ned af gaden.

Besøkte hotellet ifbm Rammstein-konsert i Valbyparken. Rommene/hotellet er gammelt, med greit behov for oppgradering. Frokost veldig hjemmesnekret i baren ved siden av. Ikke veldig stort utvalg men kan bli mett, men halvlunken juice trekker selvsagt ned. Kommer ikke til å dra hit igjen.

Skiter i trapphus men fint välstädat nyrenoverat rum. Dock mycket störande ljud från gatan, hade öppet fönster då det var varmt men väcktes flera ggr.

Ufatteligt koldt værelse, det varme vand kom efter 10 min., hotelgangen var varmere end værelset.

Vi havde en fin overnatning dejlig seng god udsigt til gaden men alligevel stille, en smule køligt på værelset men det var også det eneste.

Very spacious room

Upon checking in we were greeted by a rude gentleman that waved his hand and said “check in is not til 3!”. We were aware, we were simply checking in and requesting a luggage hold. When we returned at 3 pm, no one was at the desk for 15 minutes. When we went to our room, we were told not to take the elevator as it gets stuck often and you don’t want to be stuck inside. Our room itself resembled a hostel not a hotel. The floor was soaking wet from being mopped recently, the mattresses were stained yellow under the sheets. I went to reception to ask for extra towels to clean up the wet floor and told extra towels will be an extra charge. The gentleman at the front said “if we are not happy we can leave and get a refund and go elsewhere”. After talking with my travel companion no longer than 15-30 minutes, we decided that the room did not meet the description or photos shown online, and decided to leave. We verified with reception that we would receive a FULL refund for the 3 nights we had booked. A receipt was issued in Danish and a hand written note was issued. Once Expedia contacted the Hotel Amager, they approved 2 nights refund and charged us for the 1 night even though we did not touch or use anything in the “hotel” room. The gentleman at the front, whom is the main attendant, lied to us to profit a night. In addition to our poor experience, the hostel is attached to a pub. The pub was filled with interesting patrons and two gentlemen were oogling me.

HOTEL AMAGER CANCELLED MY RESERVATION AND TURNED ME AWAY WHEN I ARRIVED. THEY SAID THEY HAD MESSAGED ME, BUT THEY HAD NOT. I WAS STRANDED IN A FOREIGN CITY. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.

Limpeza razoavel. Recepcao falha, quase nao fica ninguem, hotel barato e entrega o basico.

Hotel Amager was a perfect layover stay. Friendly staff, clean, convenient to public transport, easy to find. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Copenhagen.

Legendary hospitality- Tony and Denis are warm, welcoming, and went repeatedly out of their way to support me. I arrived at 2am, due to a very delayed flight, and they waited for me at reception. I needed to print stuff, they offered their printer. I was knackered, they offered a chat and a free local craft beer. As a single female traveler they were impeccably professional.

Hotel Amager gave us our room keys at 3pm and when we got to our room there was a construction man in there and he was grouting the bathroom. Then they made us wait another 30minutes to get into the room which we already got handed the key for and then they said we could not shower for another 30-40 minutes until the grout dries. We found this super inappropriate as we had paid in full over TWO months in advance and we arrive to this. The hotel manager then left and the only worker there said he would not be back until 10PM and would not give us a way to communicate with him. The hotel worker would not refund us or give us another room either. He stood there yelling at us saying that this room is fine and just to wait for the bathroom grout to be clean and that he will not give us his managers contact information. If you tried to call the “hotel” itself there was no answer and the line just ended itself. We ended up booking another hotel because we felt unsafe from the yelling from the one and only staff member there and we’ve tried still reaching out to manager with no luck. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Ganske fint hotel prisen taget i betragtning, der desuden har en bar med rigtig fornuftige priser. Hotellet fremstår lidt slidt, men kan man se bort fra dette, får man god beliggenhed med kort afstand til Metroen. Morgenmaden bør man nok droppe, da den er for dyr i forhold til hvad der tilbydes. Kort afstand til lufthavnen.

Enjoyed the location of the property in relation to public transit and things to do. Would enjoy staying here on my next trip

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amager. The hotel is close to the Amager metro station and within walking distance (30 mins) of central attractions. The area is nice and not as touristy as central Copenhagen. The owner is friendly and also offered two free drinks in the cozy downstairs pub. The room was large, clean and had lots of natural light and fresh air. The beds could have been more comfortable and we would have liked a couple more towels, but all in all, we really liked the place. Note that the elevator was not working and dragging the suitcases up four floors was a bit of a challenge, but hopefully they will have it fixed soon.

Excellent budget option - hotel is about 5 mins walk from the nearest Metro and sits on the junction of two different bus routes - all of these have very regular bus/train services both into the tourist areas of Copenhagen and beyond and also to the airport - so even though its c. 1.5 miles out of town you can get there in around 15 to 20 mins from leaving the hotel. Rooms are basic, but clean and of a decent size compared to anything else at the price we paid. Service was friendly and the small attached pub a great place if you are a football fan - food here is simple and good value. There is a decent sized, very competitive, well stocked small supermarket next door to the hotel, open till late. Overall perfect for a short, inexpensive, family sight seeing trip to Copenhagen.

Værelse ok. Der står at der er morgenmadsbuffet, men der blev serveret en tallerken på en slidt fodboldpub.

Dålig lukt på rummet, frukost kostade 240kr/ person och bestod endast av en fralla med ost och kaffe och en banan

Jag betalade extra för frukosten men personalen var sen och frukosten var begränsad.

Passade perfekt för att bar övernatta en natt :) Ett enkelt rum med toalett och dusch, rummet kändes fräscht och det var högt i tak vilken gjorde att det kändes rymligt. Ganska knarrande sängar men inget fel på bekvämlighet! Frukostbuffén var inte jättevarierad men man blev mätt och nöjd ändå!

Dette er et værthus hotel - betal ikke for morgenmad - der er ingen!

Hotellet ligger central. Den ligger ved Amager café hvor morgenmaden blir serveret. Maden er ok. Kaffen god. Søde folk der. Værelset i god stand og ren. Savner en gårdhave nu vejret var så fin. Sidde udenfor caféen kunne man i trafikstøj.
