The Mariner, Westport

Receptionist was very kind at check in, offering me an icepack for my torn muscle. Room was large & comfortable and the hotel is well located in the centre of Westport. Breakfast was nice enough, a meat heavy fry but there were other options. I enjoyed my stay but as with all Irish accommodation it's not great value.

Stayed 2 nights during the beginning of June. The place met all our needs. We parked on the street for free because we were out travelling most of each day and missed the fee period. 8:30a-6:00p. The hotel had both an excellent breakfast and comfortable bedding. We did move to a room off the main street because of traffic noise. Traffic does drop off in evening, but starts earlier than we liked in the morning.

I booked this hotel fairly last minute so didn’t have a huge amount of choice but I was so happy and impressed by what I ended up with in the end. The staff were all super friendly, the room was lovely and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. Location was great and right in the middle of town so everything within walking distance. The pictures shown on booking apps don’t do the place any justice

Great place to stay in Westport! The room was a great size considering it only slept two people. The bathroom seemed recently updated and was very nice (especially the shower). The location was great for exploring the town and being close to pubs, restaurants, and activities. They had a nice living room type area downstairs to sit, but no additional amenities.

The staff was outstanding
