I enjoyed the location of Bacco Furore. For a motorcycle trip of Italy, it was nice to be in close proximity to Amalfi and Positano, but away from the action somewhat. The only fjord in Italy is worth the visit. However, there are fewer restaurants in this are, with very few within walking distance. Having a motorcycle was valuable. The listing for this property (Diffuso) is somewhat misleading—we booked a room with a sea view and a balcony, but received a room with vaulted ceilings and small windows with no private balcony. While acceptable, it was disappointing. The hotel is in a quiet area with easy parking, and the restaurant in the main hotel for breakfast in the morning was lovely. The restaurant service staff were very welcoming. However, the front desk staff were cold and unaccommodating when we shared our disappointment with the room. Hospitality of the FOH staff could be improved, but overall our stay was enjoyable.

Our room was not in the main building. Parking was not available other than on the street.

The hotel itself was quite nice, reception staff were helpful, Restaurant / bar very limited hours, breakfast had to be pre ordered via WhatsApp and was not buffet style, and very limited to cold options only, took a long time to be brought to us some mornings we sat for nearly half an hour before being acknowledged at all. Hotel room was not in the hotel it was a short walk away further down the mountain and didn’t feel very safe as the road was very narrow and very busy most if the time, there were many steps up and down to get too and from the main hotel, the “room” was small and basic, the amenities in the room were non existent, included were a few paper cups a kettle, a few tea bags and cartons of refillable water. No iron, no cups, etc. no laundry facilities on site if you need laundry they send it out at a charge, public transport is not reliable as too many people try to use it so the bus is always full, and transport is definitely needed at this hotel as there is nothing close and Amalfi is 20-30 min drive away down the mountain with very treacherous roads, the hotel will arrange transport but the cost is extra at around 70-80 euros each way, a vehicle is definitely needed at this hotel

Amalfi ist mit Auto 20 min entfernt … Verkehr ist schrecklich und die Straßen eng . 5 euro / h Parkplatz egal wo man parkt … muss schon in der Früh dort sein ansonsten erwischt kein Prakplatz mehr. Unterkunft an sich schön , große Apartment mit alles was man braucht ( Waschmaschine aber kein Geschirrspüler) Es wird nicht geputzt , man muss alles selbst machen . 1 Min entfernt gibt es ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft Parkplatz nicht immer frei , 6 Plätze insgesamt vor der Unterkunft. Ohne Auto ist ganz schlecht irgendwo zu hinfahren.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and new. The view is amazing. Free breakfast. The staff is amazing from the front desk, workers, even the chef and most especially Simona. She just so pleasant and attentive. I even got a nice friendly hug from her. She is the best. Couldn’t ask for anything more. When we go back to Italy I’d definitely go back to Albergo Diffuso Bacco Furore.

We tried nearly every item on the menu and they were all delicious. Although watermelon was not on the menu, the staff did provide that and it was very tasty. All the fruits are very fresh. Location was a bit challenging as the hotel is located in the middle of a mountain. Google Maps was not helpful in getting us to our destination and we had to walk a rough 20 minute patch with all of our luggage through the mountain using very steep stair cases and going through peoples backyards. When going to Amalfi, taxis are very expensive and only the 5080 bus comes to the hotel. The bus can be packed which means you have to wait in the heat until the next bus. Bus drivers don't sell tickets and there is no signal upon exiting the hotel. It would be great if the hotel started selling bus tickets. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Amalfi and Positano.

Lovely hotel with great views and a lovely restaurant. Our breakfasts were the highlight of the stay. The only thing worth mentioning - our phones did not have service in the room and the WiFi was out of wack a lot of times (but apparently it happens often in the area). Staff is always available to help out with anything and ordered us taxi from and back to the Naples. Great experience.

Fantastisk mat fra kjøkkenet til Erminia Cuomo ble sammen med en flaske 2017 Marisa Cuomo Furore Bianco 'fiorduva' Costa d'amalfi gjorde opplevelsen komplett.

Struttura ubicata a Furore con una posizione fantastica, dotata di parcheggio gratuito e da queste parti è un servizio che fa la differenza ed un panorama mozzafiato. Personale della reception gentile e disponibile così come il personale del ristorante, consigliato perché si mangia molto bene. Colazione abbondantr, consigliatissime le piccole pastiere, sublimi!!! A mio personale parere, hotel e ristorante superconsigliati a cui sento di ringraziare per l'ospitalità.

Mit dem Frühstück waren wir nicht so zufrieden, es musste am Vortag vorbestellt werden und trotzdem wurde nur an einem Tag alles richtig serviert und es hat sehr lange gedauert. Das Planen des Tages war somit schwierig, da es eine gewisse Abhängigkeit gab bezüglich der Schnelligkeit. Ein offenes Buffet fände ich besser. Ich glaube es ist gut gemeint, aber in der Umsetzung zu kompliziert. Meine Begleitung hatte jeden Tag glutenfreie Optionen ausgewählt und an den letzten beiden Tagen, hatten sie keine glutenfreien Alternativen bekommen, sondern nur Kekse.. Da hätte ich mir eine bessere Vorbereitung erwünscht, da am Vortag bestellt wird und ihr auch nicht etwas anderes wie Obst etc. angeboten wurde. Das Hotel war schön und wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick. Planungen unabhängig vom Hotel sind schwierig, es gibt nicht viele Möglichkeiten an Informationen etc. zu kommen. Es gibt ein Busunternehmen Sita Sud und ab und zu Transporter die nach Amalfi oder Fiordo fahren. Bus Tickets bekommt man entweder an der Theke, in Supermärkten oder bei einem Mitarbeiter in Amalfi( mit gelber Weste). In seltenen Fällen konnte man auch im Bus Tickets kaufen, das ist aber nicht erwünscht, damit der Einstieg und Ausstieg schneller funktioniert. Ganz stressfrei ist es nicht, wenn man die Orte drumherum besuchen möchte. Mietwagen wäre auch nicht besser, da es sehr eng ist und die Parksituationen schlecht

Siamo stati accolti da Simona, che ha preso contatto con noi già durante il viaggio, ci ha fornito indicazioni precise sul percorso. Quando siamo arrivati ci ha dato tutte le informazioni e i consigli sulle mete e le attrazioni locali, ci ha messo a nostro agio e ci ha seguito per tutto il soggiorno. Al mattino Fernando ci ha preparato delle colazioni stratosferiche, ogni nostra richiesta è stata esaudita con efficienza e professionalità. Dalla terrazza dove abbiamo fatto colazione si gode di un panorama sul mare da fare invidia ai più famosi belvedere. La pulizia è impeccabile e l'attenzione ai più piccoli particolari assoluta, inoltre l'albergo è dotato di posto auto gratuito, cosa da non trascurare vista la difficoltà di parcheggi nella costiera amalfitana. Consigliamo questa struttura vivamente

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to one with an ocean view- it was the most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were wonderful. The restaurant was incredible and the staff were so attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

When going to Amalfi, taxis are very expensive and only the 5080 bus comes to the hotel. The bus can be packed which means you have to wait in the heat until the next bus. Bus drivers don't sell tickets and there is no signal upon exiting the hotel. It would be great if the hotel started selling bus tickets. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Amalfi and Positano.

Ved ankomst fikk vi beskjed om at rommene på hotellet var under oppussing og vi fikk derfor ett rom 5 min kjøretur unna. Rommet lå rett ved hovedveien og var riktig bråkete. Frokosten var en skuffelse! Dette er ikke ett hotell, men en restaurant som i tillegg leier ut rom. Overhodet ikke verdt pengene.

The place is wonderful, with comfortable rooms and an unbeatable view. Furore is an excellent place to explore the Amalfi Coast if you're driving, as it's halfway between the most popular spots and you can reach it quickly from Naples. What stands out most about this hotel is the staff, especially Fernando, who makes coffee with a lot of love. The restaurant is also very good, with moderate prices. I recommend this accommodation.

The Air Conditioning was not good at all. It barely cooled. I’m from Texas so we like it cool inside. It was hard to sleep. But the location was great.

The property and views are fantastic as are the staff. However best having your own transport as buses and taxi’s not always available

Eu não conhecia a região, portanto gostaria de ter ficado mais ao centro de Amalfi. O hotel é bom, café da manhã precisa ser escolhido na noite anterior

Mit dem Frühstück waren wir nicht so zufrieden, es musste am Vortag vorbestellt werden und trotzdem wurde nur an einem Tag alles richtig serviert und es hat sehr lange gedauert. Das Planen des Tages war somit schwierig, da es eine gewisse Abhängigkeit gab bezüglich der Schnelligkeit. Ein offenes Buffet fände ich besser. Ich glaube es ist gut gemeint, aber in der Umsetzung zu kompliziert. Meine Begleitung hatte jeden Tag glutenfreie Optionen ausgewählt und an den letzten beiden Tagen, hatten sie keine glutenfreien Alternativen bekommen, sondern nur Kekse.. Da hätte ich mir eine bessere Vorbereitung erwünscht, da am Vortag bestellt wird und ihr auch nicht etwas anderes wie Obst etc. angeboten wurde. Das Hotel war schön und wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick. Planungen unabhängig vom Hotel sind schwierig, es gibt nicht viele Möglichkeiten an Informationen etc. zu kommen. Es gibt ein Busunternehmen Sita Sud und ab und zu Transporter die nach Amalfi oder Fiordo fahren. Bus Tickets bekommt man entweder an der Theke, in Supermärkten oder bei einem Mitarbeiter in Amalfi( mit gelber Weste). In seltenen Fällen konnte man auch im Bus Tickets kaufen, das ist aber nicht erwünscht, damit der Einstieg und Ausstieg schneller funktioniert. Ganz stressfrei ist es nicht, wenn man die Orte drumherum besuchen möchte. Mietwagen wäre auch nicht besser, da es sehr eng ist und die Parksituationen schlecht

Super nice staff, super view on the ocean, rooms are really nice, this was the best stay (2 nights) of 3 weeks of vacations in Italy. Great dinner options and breakfast are over the top, thanks for the great experience!

Beautiful location with a gorgeous view. The breakfast was fab and the staff were so friendly.

The hotel itself was quite nice, reception staff were helpful, Restaurant / bar very limited hours, breakfast had to be pre ordered via WhatsApp and was not buffet style, and very limited to cold options only, took a long time to be brought to us some mornings we sat for nearly half an hour before being acknowledged at all. Hotel room was not in the hotel it was a short walk away further down the mountain and didn’t feel very safe as the road was very narrow and very busy most if the time, there were many steps up and down to get too and from the main hotel, the “room” was small and basic, the amenities in the room were non existent, included were a few paper cups a kettle, a few tea bags and cartons of refillable water. No iron, no cups, etc. no laundry facilities on site if you need laundry they send it out at a charge, public transport is not reliable as too many people try to use it so the bus is always full, and transport is definitely needed at this hotel as there is nothing close and Amalfi is 20-30 min drive away down the mountain with very treacherous roads, the hotel will arrange transport but the cost is extra at around 70-80 euros each way, a vehicle is definitely needed at this hotel

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to one with an ocean view- it was the most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were wonderful. The restaurant was incredible and the staff were so attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Eu não conhecia a região, portanto gostaria de ter ficado mais ao centro de Amalfi. O hotel é bom, café da manhã precisa ser escolhido na noite anterior

Lovely hotel with great views and a lovely restaurant. Our breakfasts were the highlight of the stay. The only thing worth mentioning - our phones did not have service in the room and the WiFi was out of wack a lot of times (but apparently it happens often in the area). Staff is always available to help out with anything and ordered us taxi from and back to the Naples. Great experience.

Ankom på ettermiddagen og fikk umiddelbart hjelp med parkering. Sjekket inn hos en meget trivelig dame og fikk et nyoppusset rom i andre etasje. Rommet var nydelig, flotte detaljer og en himmelsk utsikt fra balkongen som vendte mot middelhavet og amalfi kysten. Noen gode drinker ble nytt på uteserveringen før middagen ble inntatt. Fantastisk mat fra kjøkkenet til Erminia Cuomo ble sammen med en flaske 2017 Marisa Cuomo Furore Bianco 'fiorduva' Costa d'amalfi gjorde opplevelsen komplett.

Struttura ubicata a Furore con una posizione fantastica, dotata di parcheggio gratuito e da queste parti è un servizio che fa la differenza ed un panorama mozzafiato. Personale della reception gentile e disponibile così come il personale del ristorante, consigliato perché si mangia molto bene. Colazione abbondantr, consigliatissime le piccole pastiere, sublimi!!! A mio personale parere, hotel e ristorante superconsigliati a cui sento di ringraziare per l'ospitalità.
