The only thing that I pay for parking and they didn't explain were the garage was. We park in front of the hotel which the parking is free. Hope I get a refund for the parking that I never used.

Das ständige Einwählen im Smartphone mit den Zugangsdaten nervend. Eingang zur Tiefgarage unübersichtlich. Zimmer mit Blick auf den See beinhaltet auch Bahnhofsathmosphäre, da der Bahnhof genau gegenüber liegt, genauso wie der Fähranleger. Zimmer aber geräumig genug, Umgebung aber ziemlich laut.

Very friendly staff, the admin literally walked with us to show where parking was. The hotel is super clean. I believe they just finished renovations. It’s located right next to the train station, which is convenient as you can take the train to Zurich, Zurich airport and other areas around. But it is far enough from the main church, which is a plus because the bell goes off every hour, even at night, and I personally didnt hear it in my sleep.

The hotel is very nice, but something is wrong with their IT system. The online check in doesn’t work properly. I had to do the check in again at the reception. There I got a key for a room which was already occupied by another guest. How unprofessional! Nice thing to know: Free parking outside from 8pm to 8am.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were also very nice and helpful, especially the lady named Hilal, she made us feel very welcomed. Area isn’t amazing as there aren’t many good places to eat around it and the town itself isn’t very lively but there is a cheap train that goes straight to Zurich which is walking distance from it

The room was beautiful, a very comfy bed, aircon was a bonus in the middle of August. The breakfast was great and it was a perfect location for sightseeing. I message the hotel before arrival to ensure there would be a bed and they were very quick to reply. We would love to stay again!

Very noisy with sounds from train, autos, people dining in restaurants below, and the conference room. My wife and I had difficulty sleeping. I paid for a room with lake view but the half of the view is blocked by the train station building and trees, the the other half I can only see the lake through many electrical cables. Not worth the value we paid for.

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel is one of the best Ive stayed in. Everyone is so lovely and helpful. Second to none for public transport. The bed is one of the most comfortable. But its the view that takes it all the way to the top of the list. Im regretting only staying one night to break up my journey home.

From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out the staff at the yarn made our first visit to Switzerland an absolute joy. The rooms were lovely and spacey. The staff were so kind and always asking how you are and making sure you have everything you need such as complimentary bath robes and slippers and cold glass bottles of water. I love the way that they love the environment and encourage the drinking of the tap water (which was the coldest tap water ever!!!) we loved it! Also the breakfast was really nice always topping everything up and the eggs were perfectly made every single morning to order . I cannot fault these guys , also lovely touch that because it’s our anniversary they popped a bottle of wine in our room!. We might be back next year!!!

This is our second time staying here. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. We love the breakfast. It’s such a convenient location to the highway, the city and the airport. We love the closeness to the lake. We’ll be back!

I recently stayed at the Yawn Hotel twice in two weeks, and while the first visit was excellent, the second was quite the opposite. **First Stay:** During our first visit, we had a wonderful experience. The rooms, though relatively small, were very clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I had no complaints and left feeling satisfied. **Second Stay:** However, our excitement for the second stay quickly turned to disappointment. We arrived late at night to find our room had an awful smell, reminiscent of garbage and spoiled cabbage. After struggling to reach someone for assistance, we finally spoke to a helpful lady on the phone who moved us to another room. Unfortunately, this new room also had no hot water, which was unacceptable since we needed to leave by 9 AM. We ended up leaving early due to this inconvenience. To add to our frustration, I realized I had forgotten my connector and returned to the hotel to retrieve it. To my surprise, despite not formally checking out, the staff had already started cleaning our room. I learned from a local repairman that many guests had been facing the same issue with hot water, suggesting that this is a common problem at the hotel. What was most disappointing was the lack of effort from the hotel staff to address our concerns. No one reached out to see how they could help or offered any help or efforts for the terrible experience

We arrived late at night to find our room had an awful smell, reminiscent of garbage and spoiled cabbage. After struggling to reach someone for assistance, we finally spoke to a helpful lady on the phone who moved us to another room. Unfortunately, this new room also had no hot water, which was unacceptable since we needed to leave by 9 AM. We ended up leaving early due to this inconvenience. To add to our frustration, I realized I had forgotten my connector and returned to the hotel to retrieve it. To my surprise, despite not formally checking out, the staff had already started cleaning our room. I learned from a local repairman that many guests had been facing the same issue with hot water, suggesting that this is a common problem at the hotel. What was most disappointing was the lack of effort from the hotel staff to address our concerns. No one reached out to see how they could help or offered any help or efforts for the terrible experience

It’s located right next to the train station, which is convenient as you can take the train to Zurich, Zurich airport and other areas around. But it is far enough from the main church, which is a plus because the bell goes off every hour, even at night, and I personally didnt hear it in my sleep.

The hotel is very nice, but something is wrong with their IT system. The online check in doesn’t work properly. I had to do the check in again at the reception. There I got a key for a room which was already occupied by another guest. How unprofessional! Nice thing to know: Free parking outside from 8pm to 8am.

Everything was wonderful. Convenient location right on the lake, easy train to/from city and airport, close to shops, wonderful breakfast and the loveliest staff. Rooms and hotel itself are great too. Overall great value and everything you could want.

From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out the staff at the yarn made our first visit to Switzerland an absolute joy. The rooms were lovely and spacey. The staff were so kind and always asking how you are and making sure you have everything you need such as complimentary bath robes and slippers and cold glass bottles of water. I love the way that they love the environment and encourage the drinking of the tap water (which was the coldest tap water ever!!!) we loved it! Also the breakfast was really nice always topping everything up and the eggs were perfectly made every single morning to order . I cannot fault these guys , also lovely touch that because it’s our anniversary they popped a bottle of wine in our room!. We might be back next year!!!

The room was beautiful, a very comfy bed, aircon was a bonus in the middle of August. The breakfast was great and it was a perfect location for sightseeing. I message the hotel before arrival to ensure there would be a bed and they were very quick to reply. We would love to stay again!

We stayed at Yarn Hotel in Zurich for four days and overall had a great experience. The location was excellent, right by the train station, which made getting around very convenient, and the Wi-Fi connection was also very good. There were a few things that could be improved. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and there was no phone in the room to contact the concierge or front desk. The concierge also closes around 10:30 PM, and after that the hotel doors are locked, so there is no access to the concierge overnight if you need any assistance. Other than these points, we really enjoyed our stay. It was a good, comfortable hotel in a very convenient location, and overall, we had a positive experience.

Very clean and modern hotel, dog friendly, no issues with having my dog anywhere in the hotel, including breakfast. Ideal for public transport, train and bus station straight opposite aswell as some restaurants and convenience stores. Really pleasant stay, would stay here again.

Would have been nice if you had access to the gym as a user, and not simply having to pay 20chf per day for this. I simply walked instead of paying what would have been 80chf for the 4 days i visited. The breakfast also seemed a little lacking, but not too bad.

confusing check in on line and then despite having paid the £600 plus for 3 nights (a reasonable price for Horgen) we had to pay an outstanding bill of 3 pence, yes 3 pence not pounds before we could check in online. Food and breakfast good, exceptionally quiet despite a Swiss World Cup game going on in the bar below at 3am. Great location by the station and in the centre - worth the extra for the lake view
