Nice small hotel inside and rooms were very nice Street area was not very clean and no parking for hotel guests or discounted rates in parkibg lot nearby

Parking isn't free, room service came into my room after I explicitly said NOT to. Also I was handed a dirty towel the one time I asked for anything from this establishment. There is also a microwave area in the lobby and not a microwave in your room. Weeknight costs are ridiculous.

Two upsides: the towels were clean and interior AC unit blew directly on the bed Otherwise: 1. The bed had a horrible divot in it and was not comfortable at all. Rolled straight into the divot with no hope of getting out. 2. The seal on the mini fridge door was busted, so that didn't work. 3. The head of the bed (sans a headboard) was up against the wall, under a window, so when the sun came up, the light was right in my eyes. 4. I could clearly hear everything going on the hallway and down on the street with lots of street noise late into the night. 5. No hairdryer. 6. No ice. 7. Walls of the hotel room were all banged up and they obviously didn't care about the appearance of the room.

This hotel, tho customer service was up to par the comfort just wasn't there. Soon as I entered the room 6 steps in was the bed. No space to move around. Bathroom was even more uncomfortable. Sink, toilet and stand up shower were literally inches away from another. No parking at all. This property is overpriced!

There was lots of drama everyday I was there with customer. Their ad on Hotels.com said parking available. I asked and the guy said there is parking on the street, not true and very mis-leading. He asked me to show him in the ad where it said that, I was able to show him and the manager the next day but there was no attempt to make things right. I had to pay an extra $115.00 in a nearby parking lot. I really do not like deceiving advertising.

Heat didn't work well. To small of a room to move around.

The pictures on the website painted a different picture of the hotel than the reality. They never had enough lights to power the entire room as tiny as the room was. The room never had an iron and some other usual amenities you’d expect of a hotel. Fault was mine - I didn’t spend much time researching the area. When we got there men were downstairs infront of the hotel smoking and it was weird for me

That said, I think it’s a great value for the price. The staff are wonderful and attentive. Some of the paint in the rooms is a little bit chipped, but again I think that’s fine for the price. I would say my biggest issue is that the entire building is scented. It just smells like Febreze, but it is very strong so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive. Each room has a mini fridge and there is a microwave in the lobby. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of delicious restaurants and casual dining places as well, and I recommend checking them out during your stay.

For the cost paid there was no amenities. I couldn’t even get an iron for my clothes. The bed smelled like cigarettes, and the amount of noise, loud music, and weed smell was atrocious. I’d never recommend this location.

My recent stay at Moon Hotel Brooklyn was a disappointing and frustrating experience that I feel compelled to share, as an international traveler from Japan with limited English proficiency. Upon checking in, I immediately noticed that the heater in my room was not working, leaving the space uncomfortably cold. As someone who struggles with English, communicating this issue to the staff was challenging, but I made an effort to express my concerns. To compound my discomfort, there was no hot water when I attempted to shower. This was particularly distressing after a long day of travel. I expected a basic level of comfort and amenities, but Moon Hotel Brooklyn failed to meet even these modest standards. Upon returning home, I took the initiative to call the hotel and voice my concerns. To my dismay, I was told that I had to email the manager, Andy, to address my issues. I promptly sent an email on January 5, 2024, detailing the problems I had encountered during my stay. Unfortunately, my efforts to communicate my concerns were met with silence. After waiting several weeks for a response, I decided to take matters into my own hands and called Moon Hotel Brooklyn once again. When I finally spoke with Manager Andy, he shockingly claimed that he had never received my email. Frustrated, I provided him with the exact time and date of my email, and suddenly, he conveniently found it. Despite acknowledging the issues I faced, he callously informed me that there was nothing he could

Cleaning crew has no experience taking advantage of new hotel so they think they could get away with not cleaning front desk. Not rude, but not professional bed sheets were not changed just were folded and made. Also do not use the body wash and shampoo provided in the bathroom I think they accidentally put concrete acid in it, it burns no Wi-Fi hotel has great potential. It is brand new, but they need to find somebody with experience.

It was a pleasant stay. Budget friendly and clean.The room was a cozy size, both the smart TV and fridge in the room worked. Bathroom was small, but super clean and bright. The shower was also a good size and hot water worked. Everything is as advertised. Front desk attendants were also super kind. I appreciate this establishment.

Good service, clean room, room was very tiny though. Bathroom however it was nicer than expected

Really bad area, no latch on the doors, small, unclean sheets. There was crayon all over the walls they didn't bother to clean. Towels were crusty. You could hear the elevator beeping and doors slamming all night. Cheap, but next time we'll stay in Manhattan.

The guy at reception "sorry i didnt get ur name", but he was amazingly accommodating friendly and very helpful.......p.s. the one with the really nice long hair The rooms were exceptionally clean and the 24 hour service at the from.....niceee

Checkout clerks are kind but the hotel is full of people having very loud intimate moments if you are uncomfortable with that,have children, or have issues with germs I wouldn’t go there. They clean the rooms well but never the hallways or elevator

The manager at the hotel was extremely rude. He insulted me, shouted at me, and treated me very badly. The place was also very dirty, extremely filthy, with loud disturbing noises, including sexual noises and screaming. On top of that, there were insects and a terrible level of disturbance overall. There was a strong smell of smoke and marijuana throughout the hotel — in every hallway, on every floor, and even in the rooms. The smell was so strong that it was impossible to breathe. They claim that the hotel is a non-smoking place, but in reality, people were smoking everywhere. On top of that, the hotel is very expensive. Expensive for what? For this terrible condition? It’s unbelievable. This place is not even suitable for anyone to live in. God is my witness.

Musty, walls was thin enough to let in both the frosty chill of outdoors and the lasciviously echoing goings on from within neighboring rooms. This hovel had roaches, no complimentary toothpaste, one microwave in the lobby, view out the back is tragic, overall an iniquitous abode in which to lay one's head.

The room was clean. The fridge was not working. I saw a goose in the room. I didn't stay until check out. The bathroom was small. The bed and mattress was no good.

I think for the price it was okay, the only thing I didn't like was the WiFi, it was very bad, and there was no table in my room like they said in the advertisement, after that everything was good.

No direct lighting in bedroom, only from the hallway.

Rooms are very very small. One person can barely fit in the bathroom. Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything others are doing in their rooms and outside.

It was cheap. Won’t stay for longer than one night. Guests are extremely noisy during early morning hours, 3-5am

I had a very disappointing stay at Moon Hotel Brooklyn, where every room I tried had serious issues—curtains that didn’t block sunlight, a broken faucet, a non-working light, and a shower door that leaked water everywhere. Some rooms blasted loud music at night, making it hard to sleep, and no one seemed to care. The key card also stopped working suddenly, requiring a trip to the front desk. The bathroom was extremely cramped, barely offering enough space for even a slim person to move comfortably. Worst of all, when I reported these problems, the hotel staff showed no concern or willingness to help. Overall, this place felt more like a poorly maintained motel than a proper hotel—avoid it at all costs.

The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and kind, was a very convenient area for shopping , a few eating spots. Overall it was great.

I especially appreciated the night auditor, who was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and professional. Thank you so much, sir, for adding value to my overall first-time experience in New York City!

Poor location

This place is nothing like pics. Dangerous part of town, rooms are so small you can barely move around, bathroom could barely shut the door without getting in the shower to do so. So disappointed, I nearly shelled out for a hotel in another part of town, but this was too expensive, so I reluctantly stayed. No hotel lobby, attendant behind bullet proof glass.

Far from everything, but if you don’t mind public transportation , this is definitely a place for you.

It’s fine. It’s in a sketchy neighborhood which is why it’s cheap but the facilities are good (everything works) and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I’d like a full refund as I couldn’t even check in to this hotel due to the gang that was stationed outside and on the street corner all night.

The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and kind, was a very convenient area for shopping , a few eating spots. Overall it was great.

The area was particularly dodgy, lot of noise from domestics fights outside. They decided to clean the corridors around midnight in the hotel. Someone knocked on my door around 1am. Did not answer of course! The staff were ok but not much going for it. It was a 1 night stay being getting a flight the next day. I would not recommend
