It was very nice the parking is outrageous for there to be no connected structure and you have to walk all the way around the corner from the front of the hotel entrance to the front of the disconnected parking structure in downtown Milwaukee which is not the safest or most welcoming part of the city

The property is perfect but parking was not available, you’d need to pay $30 for valet, or $25 a day in the parking garage behind the hotel.

Love the outdoor fire pit

Very expensive parking though. Rates were plenty high for the stay, but to tack on $24 a day for parking was a hit.

Really enjoyed the property in general. Only downside is the parking garage ($25 a night) is behind the building and not easily assessable to the hotel. You need to either walk around the building or in an alley to get to the hotel from parking garage. Not ideal especially if you are alone. Staff was helpful and breakfast was great.

Near everything, very clean, fun amenities like pool table and outdoor spaces.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. There's a gym and laundry room on site. The breakfast hours are reasonavle at three hours. Check out both dining areas, they may offer different dishes. Close to transportation and and walkable to downtown. The queen suite was huge. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Hotel is a dual property- shares a lobby and check in as Tru by Hilton. Clean and comfortable room. Staff friendly and attentive. Sylvia (breakfast area) is a gem and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed to start our day. 5 mins walk to the Milwaukee Market and several dining options. Free train stops conveniently on the corner, across the street.

We were in town for a VB tournament and it was perfect for that. It was not walkable to the venue (it was very cold) but we knew that. The rooms were very big and comfortable. The fitness room was amazing and had tons of room. The staff was great also. Be careful with parking on the street. There were winter parking hours and we did get a ticket so we self parked in the ramp the next night (it was only a little bit cheaper than the ticket though).

No pool and no parking lot. Parking ramp $24 / night to park. Other than that was a good place to stay for the cost.

Clean rooms, helpful staff, enjoyed my stay!

Location was great & close to everything we had planned out to do. However, our room could have been cleaner. There was a giant hair in the bed when we pulled down the covers the first time. The tv remote was filthy & had sticky stuff all over it, which grossed me & my husband out. The rest of the facility was fine. But those two issues stuck with me. Your staff was quite nice & accommodating when we would ask for more washcloths & for restaurant recommendations.

All kitchen appliances were dirty, sticky Housekeeping didn’t do a good job cleaning the room. Refrigerator was dirty, has food stains from the previous guests. Dishwasher has filled with dirty dishes . Microwave was dirty and had burnt stains. Bathroom towels were stained.

The room's have kitchenette's. Unfortunately, upon check-in, our room had uneaten groceries in the refrigerator from the prior guest. In addition, the dishwasher had a sign on it that any dishes inside were clean. Unfortunately, housekeeping must have forgotten to run the dishwasher. We were told the sofa sleeper linens, blankets and pillows would be in the room, but they weren't. There were two extra pillows, but they didn't have pillowcases on them. Also, we prefer a room with a safe and there wasn't a safe. The breakfast food was some of the worst we have experienced - and the toaster wasn't timed properly so many folks toast or bagels came out burned. However, on a positive, it was located convenient to Summerfest and to some nice dining and to The Third Ward. We regretted booking it, but our choices were limited.

It was a pretty good hotel, I feel like the rooms could’ve been deep cleaned better but other than that, great service!

I made a reservation for three people, but there was no preparation and there were no towels, blankets, or anything. The refrigerator was full of old food, groceries, and all sorts of stuff, and it was bad!!! The dishes were left dirty. Is the housekeeper working? I was unsure whether I was able to contact the housekeeper properly. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work at all, the bathroom was full of steam, so I ended up having to open the door. The air conditioning and heating in the room was not turning off and was very noisy, so we ended up changing rooms, but the next room also did not have blankets or bed sheets for two people, and told that the housekeeper had left, so we had to carry the blankets and other items ourselves to a different floor. I have stayed in many hotels in many countries, but this was my first experience like this.

If you're looking for easy access to downtown Milwaukee and the lakefront, this hotel is in a good location. Parking is not convenient, however, because your only options are valet (expensive), parking ramp around the block (expensive and confusing to navigate), or street (good luck!). The modern open-concept lobby areas are versatile and comfortable, but noisy if your room is on the first floor. Our room was clean, but the perimeter of the bathroom floor was coated with previous guests' hair, like it had been quickly mopped but not vacuumed. Yuck.

Room smells like a stale ashtray

It was a nice room, but water pressure was terrible. Took twice as long to shower, that’s how bad. Need to keep common areas a bit more cleaner. Staff was very nice

Avoid rooms on the highway side of this hotel

Took more than 20 minutes for check in with only one person working and a change of shift right at 3 p.m. Between floors was very loud. We could hear the people above us walking around the entire time. It's been a long time since I've experienced this in any hotel I've stayed at.

Very basic, very clean. A-C didn’t work, and motorized shades were broke (stuck down) but we didn’t bother calling to fix so probably would have been taken care of. Spacious room

Breakfast and lobby area is great. Room air conditioner is a bit noisy and hard to adjust the thermostat, it got too cold or hot. Room was spacious.

Room had broken shade; did not raise more than 2 inches left room very dark. Tub drain did not drain, ankle deep by the time done with regular shower

The AC did not work in the room and we let the front desk know and they let us know someone would help us that came in that evening. They said we would get a call but never got the call. The air was not circulating and our room was very warm. One morning the AC turned on out of nowhere at 7 am and it sounded like a jackhammer.

I loved the look of the room. The cabinets in kitchen and bath were well designed. The suite was spacious. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Milwaukee.

We had a great stay. The rooms have everything you need and clean. Jay at the front desk was helpful. The valet guys were great too. Easy to drop off and pick up your vehicle. Will deal come back!

The Home2 Suites by Hilton in downtown Milwaukee is a good, affordable option at a great location. You're equidistant from Downtown and the Third Ward, so it really is a good spot. The main issue was the complimentary daily breakfast, which was really quite poor. The pre-made eggs (they were strange little flat circles) were rubbery and flavorless; the coffee was weak; the little yogurts were sugary Yoplait; the cereal was stale. I know that made-to-order eggs are a thing of the past, but if they're going to offer a hot dish, it needs to be improved here. Service was fine, though I waited a long time to check in. The hotel seems quite understaffed. I also asked for a hair dryer and never received it.

Long story short - rude, unprofessional staff- gave us wrong room key and I walked in on a couple. The man came running at me very mad. Moved rooms and that room was filthy and the bed sheets had obviously not been changed- we ended up changing them ourselves. There was hair all over the room and bathroom and dirty dishes in the dishwasher I was treated like an inconvenience with so much disrespect. I was told the GM wanted to talk to me and when he never contacted me, I asked for him 3 times in which he never contacted me or even attempted to. The lack of customer service and attitudes there have leave me speechless. Waiting on call back from Hilton corporate.

The only downside was the valet parking service seemed to be more focused on surrounding properties. This is not the hotel’s fault but I would suggest that the parking situation be explained better in the description. The client before me was visibly upset once he learned of this and subsequently took his frustration out on the employee of the hotel. The stay was great other than that outside issue that can and will affect customers opinions.

I think the prices for the sodas and snacks in the lobby are a little bit overpriced. I know that is usually the way it is, but if you would just reduce the prices a tiny bit, I think the guests would be even more impressed that there wasn't price gouging. There was a man named Mark in the breakfast service. HE WAS AN INCREDIBLE SERVICE PROVIDER! So friendly and helpful...and really seemed to care!

I was offered to park in a SpotHero parking lot just behind the hotel by the check in staff as it was considerably cheaper for the length of stay. Unfortunately one night my car along with 6 others were vandalized. All broken back windows and all cars rummaged through. Also walls were a little thin and was able to hear my neighbors 2 nights in a row having an “enjoyable time” for most of the nights. Was a little rough. Staff was super friendly though. Bed was comfy enough and the room was clean. A little bit of a mixed bag experience.

Right in the historic 3rd ward of Milwaukee, very walkable to many attractions including bike rentals in I bike along the rivers and lake. Perfect spot. Staff were awesome and a friendly. Room was spacious and full of amenities (kitchenette etc). Highly recommend

Had a great stay at the Home 2 Suites. The room was spacious. Everything was walking distance (Fiserv Forum, bars, restaurants, Public Market). It was clean and everyone was very friendly. Would absolutely consider staying again when we are in MKE.

Our room had everything we needed plus more. I wasn’t expecting a full sized refrigerator & all the dishes/utensils which was a wonderful surprise! The property was very well maintained & the staff was helpful when we had questions. Perfect location close to Summerfest! We will definitely book again!

Loved the newness, location, breakfast was awesome!

Very close to the venue. Would be nice to have a bar to end the day with nightcap with the family. Overall it was great place and look forward to staying again next year. Thank you.

There are a LOT of choices when in downtown Milwaukee Wisconsin. Frankly, this place is middle of the road. Located close to plenty of places to eat, or drink. They keep it clean. The service is good, and it feels decent. The breakfast is nothing to get excited about but it will do you in a pinch. My recommendation is travel less than 1/2 a mile and go somewhere nicer to eat, but if you are on a budget their breakfast will do. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bed provided a decent nights sleep.

Great breakfast!

Truly a delightful stay. The only thing missing was meat options at breakfast. They have a wonderful selection with melt-in-your-mouth cheese omelets, make-your-own waffles, but bacon and sausage would make it complete. Otherwise, terrific stay!

Real disappointed they did NOT have a bar, and they also did NOT sell any in the cooler area.

Hotel is in a good location, walking distance from the main street in downtown. The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast. It was very deficient and food did not taste good. That is something that can definitively improve
