Idyllic Home in Picturesque Village of Wraysbury - Pass the Keys

The host was very welcoming and the house was clean and tidy on arrival. However there were a few things that I feel could be even better. The sofas described as comfy were distinctly not, and the fully equipped kitchen had one teatowel, no scissors, colander or oven dishes. I had hoped there might be a cafetiere as well. A knife sharpener would be useful as knifes don’t stay sharp. There was a cloth but no surface cleaner to keep things clean. The plastic masher is too bendy to be of any use and there were no food waste bags when the instructions clearly stated food waste can’t go in the general rubbish. Lastly the ironing board was fixed to the wall above head height making it risky to take down and replace without steps.These are all relatively small things ,except the sofas I appreciate, but would make a significant difference. This is meant constructively as we found the owner charming and extremely helpful and the house fitted the description in all other aspects.
