Super 8 by Wyndham Bronx Near Stadium

Great location and excellent price. Room appeared clean and well maintained at first but previous guest spilled food behind / under desk had not been cleaned up, toilet paper holder was broken and shower doors were not level and would keep sliding open. But hey, it’s a Super 8 in the BX and the price was excellent so really not much to complain about. The bed was very comfy and no noise from other guests. There’s a great 24/7 deli half a block away and you can’t get any closer to Yankee Stadium. All in all would stay again if in town for a game. Let’s go Yankees!

The hotel was in a terrible neighborhood. The front desk person was behind glass. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The beds were clean, and the bedding was fresh. However, the carpet was disgusting and had gum stains. Also, the room smelled of smoke, and the smoke detector was taped up with plastic and painter's tape. I assume the people who stayed in the room before us smoked cigarettes. I went down to the front desk on our way out to the game, and I let the staff know. He was very polite and sprayed Febreze in the room and untaped the smoke detector. Around 0700, our room reeked of weed. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you absolutely need to after a game, which was our case. If we ever see the Yankees again, I will choose a day game.

Easy check in

The room was in good condition and the staff was courteous and polite. The stay was a bit pricier than I would pay again in that neighborhood. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is not exactly the best either. I don’t think I would book another stay here unless I really had no other choice.
