The most expensive free laundry mat. The service was passable, cheap toilet paper, stale coffee, the amenities were absent, no breakfast, no pool, no access to it's sister hotel on property. Overall very dissatisfied, no bang for the buck.

Really like this property. I come to Collingwood for work a few times a year and this is one of my go-to's. Staff are always very nice and helpful and property is brand new. The kitchen is so great, even though I don't end up using it much. Wish they had a gym, though.

This hotel is fairly new. It’s very clean and have 24 hr coffee, tea and water supplies at the lobby. It also has laundry machines for free. If you don’t have detergent, it only costs $2.00. Staff is friendly. A Tim Horton across the road for breakfast is easy.

Hotel was nice and quiet. Room was clean and I liked the lay out and kitchenette. Not much around the hotel for food and entertainment. Also a pool or a gym would have been nice to have but this hotel lacked both. Otherwise a decent place to stay.

When calling to book this pet friendly facility, Zack was very professional and assisted us in getting a great room. This is a very new facility and the staff are doing an amazing job keeping it clean. Once the surrounding area is landscaped this will be a great location for families with pets.

We chose this hotel based on proximity to downtown Collingwood and Wasaga Beach. The kitchen area is wonderful for preparing breakfast, snacks, etc. There is a two-burner flattop stove, large microwave, sink, dishes/glasses, cutlery and 3/4 size fridge. A nice lounge chair and a bar top table and chairs for eating at. The King size bed was very comfortable. Large TV, WIFI. Small convenience store on site and complimentary coffee area. Staff was helpful, and very friendly. It took about 20 minutes to walk to downtown Collingwood for supper. Would stay again in a minute!

It was good to stay with a dog.

The whole hotel was super clean from the lobby to the hallways and the room. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. A truly amazing experience for a hotel stay!! Highly recommend!!! 10/10

The hotel was extremely clean inside and out. Front desk staff were extremely friendly, helpful, & efficient. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Check-in was a breeze, room was incredibly clean and well stocked. Will stay again if in the area!

Noise from a vent or flap in the kitchen area started making noises through the night, possibly from strong outside winds! Reported this issue on checkout

Strong smell of marijuana wifting in our room from the bathroom vent. Reported it to front desk. Apparently a ongoing problem that they cant pin point its source. Very annoying.

All was good !! Only thing I found weird for new building is you can hear water from bathroom plumbing running down pipes at night Builders miss the mark on that problem

Only one glitch that I can think to review, and it wasminor. The heat/AC thermostat did not seem to work. Therefore the fan came on periodically all night. Apart from that, the staff, location to the downtown, cleanliness. All top notch. Thank you!

Room has great amenities - a full-sized fridge, kitchen sink with dishes and cutlery provided and A USABLE DISHWASHER! Also get a Keurig machine in the room, and free premium coffee machine in lobby. Room itself was very nice, albeit the interior decoration and furniture being very dated. All except the bathroom, which was clearly renovated more recently and features plenty of vanity space and a full walk-in shower with real Dove brand shampoo / conditioner / body wash. Full blackout curtains on the windows, great for sleeping and privacy. It’s an extended-stay property, so housekeeping does not try to clean your room daily, more like once every 2-3 days I think. But they do check in on you every day just to remove take the trash out and make sure you have fresh towels, etc. Only hitch in my entire 3 night stay was that they were upgrading their online booking system with new software, so our room keys got deactivated and had to be replaced a couple times - but they informed us that would likely happen when we first checked in so it was not a surprise or anything. New key cards took 90 seconds to replace and we went on our way with no further issues. This place was a welcome change from the typical hotel experience - it was closer to luxury or 4-star accommodations, but I was able to find room rates online that were quite affordable… comparable to many of the lower-class hotels in the area. Candlewood offers great value, and I will definitely be booking here again!

Where we were cars were very noisy at night other then that we loved it there . Very friendly !!! Would go back again maybe change to other side

What I didn't like is they said the bill was 236.92 when I checked out. Then I get my Mastercard bill and they charged me 336.92 Make sure you check your bills, don't assume they are correct. How often does this occur?

I was told by front desk we did not have a reservation. I showed her the Expedia booking, she told me to call Expedia because I booked through a 3rd party. She eventually realized her error and did not apologize. The hotel is 3hrs from my home, it was in the middle of a snow storm, and she told me the hotel was fully booked. I nearly had a panic attack for no reason. The hotel then overbooked me for $100????

My reservation did not come through. The staff has to create a new registration. In the process, he said I was getting the same rate as the Expedia. Upon the checkout this morning. I was charged to a higher rate. The final invoice had to re-adjusted.

It was a wonderful experience! The staff directed us to local eateries whuch were very good. Much appreciated. The room was very clean and I was surprised that it included a kitchen. We were very comfortable in the room. Thank you very much.

Staff was great. Cleaner was not. Cleaner walked into the room while I was half dressed to tell me I’m past check out time.

It is new and very clean. only 15 mins drive to Blue mountain village and close to shops.

Unfortunately the property next door, right outside our window was a construction site. A hydraulic jackhammer on a backhoe ran from 8am until 6pm daily breaking rock to install fuel tanks. I think the hotel should have emailed guests ahead of time to inform them of the situation so we could make other arrangements. Hotel was great. Vacation overall was at best mediocre because of the noise.

A five min drive to anywhere in town and 15 mins to the spa. This location is fabulous and the rooms were lovely and so clean.

Construction going on next door. Rate should have been discounted because in the early morning drilling and piling noise

Updated and clean room in away from the Blue Mountain Village. The area is quiet, there is free parking on site, and really amazing restaurants are just a 5-minute drive away.

Clean and cozy room. Nothing was missing. Easy drive to both Collingwood downtown and Blue Mountain. Enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend.

This is a solid property a comfortable bed and large well-equipped kitchen, but without any extras such as restaurant / gym. The location is fine but not in the heart of town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea in the lobby was appreciated.

Great place a bit out of the way not too much within walking distance. Black out curtains need to fit the window a bit better to be effective. Breakfast would have been nice.

We loved the suite with kitchen facilities that allowed us to heat up food we brought with us from home. It meant we didn't have to eat out all the time and could actually eat our meal with real cutlery and on real plates from the kitchen! We used the microwave exclusively because I couldn't figure out how to use the cooktop and didn't bother asking. Everything felt really clean and neat and new. Loved our stay!
