Penthouse - Spa-Inspired Guest Suite, Halifax Rooftop Home

A very impressive modern home with everything European design. It's like living in a mansion!

Stayed in the Penthouse and it was as shown and very beautiful. The interior decor was stellar throughout the space, and the private jacuzzi, sauna, and steam shower were incredible highlights. The unit featured high-tech touches like electric blinds and electric lights with remotes and a heated electric fireplace (would recommend labelling of the 6+ light switches).Also included a fully equipped chef's kitchen with a stove, double oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, sink, and plenty of dishes and cutlery. The surrounding area felt safe, great views of both bridges, free street parking was available, and the smoke detectors were functional.However, there were several communication and maintenance issues. The host never responded to any of my messages or texts. The main heat pump did not work to warm up the room, and no complimentary water, juice, or breakfast options were provided. Additionally, the property back door and the rooftop door were both broken, the rooftop outdoor furniture was not set out, some floor tiles were uneven/loose on rooftop, and there were a lot of pigeons on the balconies. Finally, while the downstairs family lives completely separately, someone from there smoked weed frequently, which dampered the balcony experience. Despite these setbacks, the Penthouse itself is a spectacular gem and I would absolutely stay here again!

The place was completely trashed as if a frat party was hosted at the location. I had personal items stolen and had other guests try to break into my room. This was by far the worst stay that I have ever experienced. The owner issued a partial refund for the stay, so it still cost me several hundred dollars to make a 3 hour trip each way only to have my stuff stolen and then return home. Terrible accommodation and terrible customer service. Strongly recommend that visitors look elsewhere.

The hot tub in the Penthouse leaks. The batteries in the remotes to control the blinds were dying. Bed was comfy and the sauna was nice. The shower knob needs replacing.

Leaking ceiling, some small fixes really could put the esthetics over this moon ie stains. Towels by doors for leaks. Cleaner was still cleaning our room and bringing things in after our check in time. We got late check out approved arranged for pick up and then got told we had to be out even though we already had the approval. Miss communication and honestly lack of communication and difficulties with quick contact with staff this stay could have been perfect with some professionalism. End of drive way wasn't plowed. We ended up having to park in a parkade U mins away and ubering over and back.
