We enjoyed our stay, we were there for three nights. It was conveniently located for our needs. The rooms and property were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a nice bathroom. We enjoyed the commons area. It was bright with plenty of seating. We used this area to play cards at night and for the complementary breakfast. The breakfast was adequate. Two complaints. First, the air conditioning was loud and not effective. Our room was freezing but very humid. It had a clammy feeling and our towels didn’t completely dry. The WiFi was rarely working, therefore we could not use Netflix.

My daughter got stuck in the elevator for a short hour- had to call the fire department to get her out. Found out it got stuck the day before and the day after finally after 3rd day in a row having the Stillwater fire department called out they put it out of order. No one from hotel management reached out to us.

Woman at the counter had her AirPod in on one ear. She didn’t share any information with me unless I asked. Had to come back in to find out where the room was. Parking is very tight and I wished there was an on sight bar or restaurant. Room was amazing! Best I’ve been in the whole trip but I probably won’t stay here ever again.

We are an older couple. Our room was at the front of the building but the majority of the parking is in the back. This made it difficult to get our luggage in. It also made for a long walk to get to our car. The toilets were so short that using the facilities very hard.

Very friendly staff! Room was clean and the bathroom was huge. The pool was a little small but my son had so much fun playing in it. It was never crowded at all. It is a great location. You're within walking distance of a gas station and coffee plus plenty of restaurants. You're within driving distance of any major retail store. And it was only a 20 min drive to get to the zoo or Adventureland, not bad at all. Would definitely stay here again!

The cleanest, best-maintained “budget” hotel I’ve experienced. Our choice was based on location but the price was right and this was the only property in the area not rated below 6.5. I was blown away by the cleanliness and maintenance. 10/10! Our room was spacious and well designed and appointed. The property is inviting and feels like a resort three times the price. I travel light and fast and therefore I’m willing to sacrifice amenities for affordability. “No bugs/no mold” is my standard… and what I’m used to. This stay far exceeded expectations. I’ll look twice for Quality Inn and Suites from now on… but it’ll be hard to compare to Ankeny!

Nice modern hotel, overall clean, and quiet. My only real complaint is the toilet feels like it 6 inches off the ground, I needed a hoist to get back up. Great location off the highway. Lots of shopping and restaurants close to property

Did not feel comfortable in the room. The curtains would not shut so that meant i needed to change in the bathroom and then i was up all night with the lights streaming in. It was an okay stay. Not excellent and not comfortable. But clean and okay.

Check in was quick. Front desk staff here are always great. I went to my room and jumped in the shower. When i got out a housekeeper walked in. No knocking. Just walked straight in as i got out and the door to the bathroom was open.

Friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms, nice breakfast choices and all for a low rate. We travel to Des Moines several times a year and usually stay downtown but I think this will be our new go to place it saves us $100 a night plus its only a 15 minute drive to the downtown area.

I stay here about once a month when I'm in the area. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast actually consists of hot foods. Highly recommend!

I stay here about once a month when I'm in the area. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast actually consists of hot foods. Highly recommend!

Easy to find restaurants and shopping. Phone didnt work to call desk. Nobody available at check out. Breakfast staff didnt understand english. No sugar free syrup no milk waffle batter ran out 8am. Eggs sausage rubber tasting yogurt sour.

None of the plugins worked in the any if the lamps so we had to search for wall plugin. The free breakfast was also very minimal and cold.

Easy check-in, friendly staff, great breakfast options. One of the two treadmills in the fitness center was broken. Loved the size of the room.

Curtious staff, clean room. Needs some maintenance done in bathroom. Breakfast (eggs) would have been good had it not been sitting in the warming pan until it was hard and dried out. Waffle batter was very runny, unable to use

The hotel is clean and well laid out. It’s also in a good location and the complementary breakfast was the best we had. However our room had a broken latch on the door and the paint and tile in the bathroom were in disrepair. The wifi access must’ve used up their cap, because it was at modem speed. I had to tether to do anything.

Room felt damp even with air on. Staff was very nice. I really wanted a waffle but they weren't working properly. I couldn't wait as we had to get to the hospital. Parking was very convenient!

Overall the room was clean, but the air conditioning didn't remove much of the humidity so wet clothes and towels didn't dry. Our stay was 3 days which is how long they go between housekeeping when you are staying longer than one night. On the 2nd day we asked the front desk for housekeeping to bring more towels, but they didn't and when we asked for some we had to go down to the desk to get them. The breakfast was okay. There is no longer a whirlpool/hot tub in the pool area. The pool is not heated, which was ok since we were there on some of the hottest days of the summer. The hotel is right off the interstate, which was very convenient and it wasn't far from other things in the metro area. Our rooms were on the end closest to the highway, but were couldn't hear any noise from it.
