Burley Court Hotel

Hotel was tired and worn. Carpets were very old and need replacing. Room was clean but looking tired and in need of refurbishment. The shower in the bathroom room was terrible, very small and had very weak water pressure with no extraction. No breakfast was available which was very disappointing! A very underwhelming experience I’m afraid. I would not recommend it.

Good - new carpet. Bed. Bad - dirty kettle, skirting boards and shower. Broken top of shower where its two doors met. The taped repair had come adrift. Really needed a thorough clean. Stairs needed a vacuum clean.

Listed as breakfast available for £10 but on check in we were told no breakfast is provided. Apparently you have to pre-book before arrival, but no information given during the booking process to tell you that. Very misleading.

Excellent experience. Very friendly and helpful person on reception. Explained everything that I needed to know, room was large and very clean. Yes the Hotel looks a little dated but honestly don't let that put you off from booking. Hotel has free parking for customers, an outside swimming pool, which unfortunately I didn't get time to use. It's location is ideal if you are watching a gig at The Old Fire Station. Highly recommended Hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay.
