Rooms were clean and quiet. Stayed overnight with most of the time at the casino. Never physically interacted with staff since we got there late but always available to call them at their home Only complaint was the parking lot or the area by our room was dimly lit. My elderly friend tripped on the black concrete car stop and skinned her knee up. Thankfully didn’t need ER services. Fix the lighting and paint your concrete stop yellow and we might come back!

We chose this property for the location and the outdoor pool. This property is outdated and needs a thorough cleaning. They appear to be working on renovations but the unit we were in was not yet complete. Our floor was so dirty it turned your feet black when you walked across it. The pool was also quite dirty. It didn’t appear that the filters were working. For the price we payed this stay was disappointing.

I didn't understand any of that and neither did the front desk clerk. Ice machine on1st and 2nd floor inoperative; had to go to 3rd floor for ice. Front desk apparently knew about it, but did not advise us ahead of time, so I wasted time running around every floor to find a working machine. Noise from water flowing in adjacent rooms annoying. Meager breakfast offerings; no juice machine.

Outdated motel needs a closet in the room new updated lighting and outlets need more outlets in the room overall the staff was friendly and very hospitable and eager to tidy up the room Location was excellent walking by foot and restaurants near by grocery store very convenient location! I would only stay a short term no washer/dryer on the premises either bummer and no reliable transportation to get around town? The need a ride service was fake and unreliable that the valley inn advertised ps the beds were fantastic and comfy that was a plus ! Todii says hi to everyone! All is good

Easy to find and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Clean and comfortable rooms. However, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the rooms around you. Worth the price but if you're a light sleeper you may have trouble sleeping if your neighbors have their TV's up or are having conversations at midnight

We had a very lovely stay, French Lick is a cute little town. The Inn had a great location. The place is outdated, but we didn’t mind that. Our mattress was very hard and uncomfortable though. Overall, we would stay here again though.

Clean, easy access to things in the area. It is on a busy street, so there was some ambient noise, but for me, that was to be expected. Staff were welcoming and made themselves available when needed. I would stay again.

Check in was smooth and the front desk service was excellent. Great interaction with the staff. The room is updated and clean. No bath in my room, just a walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Its a little noisy with the main road right there but overall an excellent stay. Plenty of reatuarants and downtown is less than a mile away. Dairy queen and Chicagos pizza are a short walk away. Lots of other activities are close as well. For dinner i went to 33 brick street. Get the fish and chips, cheap and right up there with the best! Loved my stay at this motel!

Staff came and knocked on door 50 minutes before check out? If would not been aware they started entering so had to yell through door just minute as just got out of shower? Before checkout time? Why were they trying to enter before checkout time? Very concerning! They can do that if you are late or after time! But not before checkout time!

The property is not what was advertised. The photos on Expedia showed a resort hotel from down the road from the actual property. When we arrived we drove past 3 times before we realized it due to totally different from pictures. The hotel closed at 8pm, it was 8:30 when we arrived. The staff lady was nice and helpful. We agreed to look at the room. After looking at it as well as my son looking, we agreed our wives and my granddaughter would not be safe staying there. The area around was run down and not well lit. We were being charged $200 for a $65 room. We returned the keys to the front and was promised a full refund. So far i have not seen a refund.

They called two days before I was suppose to come and said my room Expedia set up wasn't even available. They put me in a room for $120. My bank account shows I've been charged $198. I called Expedia ahead of time and they said they would contact the hotel. The hotel said we'll make sure you don't get charged. How incompetent on both Expedia and the hotel. Rediculous. It better get corrected fast. Thank You

We accidentally locked our self’s out at 1:30am and the girl was so nice about being woke up at that hour and without issue helped us out. It was clean and quiet and great price.

Check in was smooth and the front desk service was excellent. Great interaction with the staff. The room is updated and clean. No bath in my room, just a walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Its a little noisy with the main road right there but overall an excellent stay. Plenty of reatuarants and downtown is less than a mile away. Dairy queen and Chicagos pizza are a short walk away. The Valley Inn is in a great location, between French Lick Resort and West Baden Resort. It was recently remodeled, very clean, with friendly staff. When compared to the prices of nearby hotels/resorts, it's a non-decision. Stay here and save a couple hundred bucks!

Received text instructions prior to check in and check out for room 22 using the "door check in, check out code" and using the online guest portal. I didn't understand any of that and neither did the front desk clerk. Ice machine on1st and 2nd floor inoperative; had to go to 3rd floor for ice. Front desk apparently knew about it, but did not advise us ahead of time, so I wasted time running around every floor to find a working machine. Noise from water flowing in adjacent rooms annoying. Meager breakfast offerings; no juice machine.

Decent due to fairly recent room remodels. No breakfast & office closed times I went to ask or get something. Pretty clean, comfy mattress, black out curtains. Small fridge & microwave in rooms. Pool closed for season.

The key pad on the door didn't work, which is ok. Went to the lobby got our physical key. Upkeep of property was great on the outside, outdoor lights all work, no trash littered around. Negatives were cleanliness of room. Yes, it was good, but hairs in shower and dead daddy long leg behind bathroom door. Our neighbors(we were in 20) were very loud, made for sleepless night. I DO commend this "family owned" inn for doing their best. Keep at it & it'll be great!

The staff was very friendly so I feel bad for leaving a negative review. I travel frequently for both work and personal reasons. This was one of the oldest, and dirty places I’ve stayed. Outdated hvac, musty smell, several flying insects and extremely high price due to nearby concert.

It was a great set up for my family. The little kids and adults loved the pool. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff is very nice and around if you need them.
