Lovely hotel.Only negative thing is the rooms don’t have air conditioning.Otherwise i can’t fault it,very clean,staff are lovely plenty of parking second time I have stayed there before and I definately would stay there again.

Really enjoyed it! The room was big and the bed incredibly comfortable. All the staff we met were really pleasant and we ate in the bar in the end because the weather was so awful and it was really lovely. Great stay - thank you everyone

Large, very clean room, with plenty of storage space too. The bed was really comfy and big too. Great shower in the bathroom, some more surface space would have been handy in there though. The pipe system is really loud between rooms, which I'd say was the only downside.

Stayed here several times previously to attend an event held here. Hotel ok but overpriced for the standard. The room was not as good as previous stays - avoid Room 10, if the bathroom or wardrobe door is open when you enter the room you walk into these doors! Unbelievable that the hotel had run out of shower / bath gel for rooms as the order hadn't arrived! We were given more soap and shampoo to make up for this! The cooked breakfast was a bit too greasy (fried eggs were rubbery as been kept warm so long).

My stay here was amazing. The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful, the room was clean and nothing was too much trouble. Well done to everyone working there, you are all great. If I'm back this way again I'll definitely stay here.

Visiting family so was convenient for that.staff were very pleasant and accomodating. Dining room was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate. The beds and linen in our room were clean. The bathroom really needs an upgrade, as do the doors. The room was dusty. With the above comments I feel the cost of the room overpriced.

So, this is a Best Western, and accordingly my expectations were tempered before I arrived. On the plus side, the staff were outstanding throughout! On the rather more sizeable minus side.... The "suite" as described on the booking page is nothing of the sort. In fact I did question I was in the right room and was advised, "yes sir, that is our suite". No, that is a standard room with a 4 poster bed! Speaking of the bed. Sorry but the idea is to have a firmish mattress and softish pillows - not the other way round! That has to be the softest mattress I have ever slept on. Food is what you would expect. Not bad, but not memorable either. Overall. If you have the choice, pick somewhere else. I am sure there are better nearby. If you don't have the choice, don't pick the "suite". You will not be happy with the premium charged for what is little more than a standard room.

I didn’t get the room that was in the description online that I had paid for, we had a lack of towels and pillows, in the room there was meant to also be a sofa bed which was not there. The bed was a lot smaller than the website stated. There was a door in the room that led to the room next door with only a bit of cardboard between the door and the next room. Made us feel very insecure. The food the next morning tasted extremely cheap with small portion sizes. When we arrived to check in the staff were coming across like we were an inconvenience, not welcoming and didn’t give off any nice feelings for our stay.

Very comfortable stay. Relaxed atmosphere but with professional, helpful staff. Lovely food. Nice and quiet in the off-season, which suited me very well. Beautiful surroundings. Would go back again.

I didn’t get the room that was in the description online that I had paid for, we had a lack of towels and pillows, in the room there was meant to also be a sofa bed which was not there. The bed was a lot smaller than the website stated. There was a door in the room that led to the room next door with only a bit of cardboard between the door and the next room. Made us feel very insecure. The food the next morning tasted extremely cheap with small portion sizes. When we arrived to check in the staff were coming across like we were an inconvenience, not welcoming and didn’t give off any nice feelings for our stay.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The food I ate was excellent and the bar was good. The room was pretty tired though, very much stuck in a bygone era. The bed was comfy though. Bathroom was a good size but equally dated. The shower controls were so stiff they required a Herculean effort in order to achieve running water. No toilet paper in the bathroom was a disappointing housekeeping oversight. The room was very warm, no air con or ceiling fan, just a tiny little square fan heater type machine was provided which was wholly inadequate, so I slept with my windows and curtains wide open. Breakfast was pleasant, although the coffee was so strong I couldn't manage more than a few sips. I would stay here again if, as per my stay this time, I was attending a function at the venue. Otherwise I wouldn't.

Stay was okay, room was extremely hot which is no fault of the hotel. A fan was provided and in the room but had to ask for water on a daily basis unfortunately. Restaurant food and drink was good, but menu options are limited. Plenty of on site parking spaces and no hassle. All the staff are very polite professional and very helpful.

Very good breakfast options available with excellent staff service across all areas of the hotel. Minor niggles only - no 2nd toilet roll in bathroom and had to hunt to find the 2nd set of towels for a 2 occupancy room.
