Very comfy bed , quiet , nice leisure centre with excellent facilities that you can use for free during your stay Spacious and quiet room Room service food was very nice (sandwiche/fries/salad Although quite expensive totalling £19 I can't really fault the hotel in any way Only thing I would say is that I was told I could use the pool until 6pm when I arrived only to be told it was closing at 5 40 which was disappointing. But other than that I have no negatives to mention

A lovely relaxing hotel where we have stayed before. Ideal for a long weekend. Has become a bit pricey ( as has everything these days!). I noticed a few small things which were not to my liking this time. Eg. No shower cap provided in bathroom, no choice of wholemeal bread, no choice of milk at breakfast (unless you ask), no alternative to butter provided for breakfast toast. Swimming pool was packed with non hotel residents could hardly get into the changing room so I gave it a miss. Still a lovely place but noticeably slipping a bit.

Another great stay! Lovely room. Breakfast always wonderful. We also had lunch which was really good. The place and the staff never disappoint. We didnt catch the name of the lovely waitress who served us brekfast and lunch but she was very efficient and professional. We visited the spa twice which is always great - must try and book in the summer when we can sit in the gardens.

I loved my stay at pony pontlands park from the staff to the food and grounds, the pool and spa was amazing and checking in early was a bonus. Only downside was the walk in shower was very small and no mini bar. Otherwise I will be returning :)

A beautiful place to stay. So clean and spacious and very quiet. Every little detail thought of and we felt very special. Evening meal was lovely and a huge choice for breakfast. All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay

Excellent facilities, service, food and staff, the ridiculously hot weather was a problem in my upstairs even with windows open and fan maxed really could do with air con, also had a really noisy extract going on and off through the night. But think that was just this room dont stay in 69!

Staff were friendly. Building was nice, but the room was not that comfortable. No fridge and the safe was broken. The worst thing was that the bed was a 6ft mattress but we only had a 5ft duvet, which didn’t cover two people in the bed. This meant we had a poor night’s sleep.

Nice place but wish we knew there was going to be a wedding band blasting towards our room until midnight. Knowing we had a baby it would have been nice to warn us of the noise or offer a room away from the music.

I called the hotel to say we were celebrating a 40th birthday. They said some welcome drinks and free upgraded will be complimentary and thank you for choosing the hotel when we arrived. We didn’t even have the room I originally booked and no drinks and no complimentary gift. Room was very tired. Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast and staff was amazing.

The staff were amazing. From the reception, to restaurant. Lovely girl on reception and Alex in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Can’t fault this beautiful place. Will be back in the new year!

Charming period house renovated into a modern hotel with beautiful gardens and surrounding property. Amazing cooked breakfast buffet. Enjoyed opening room window to hear birds each morning (hotel surrounded by nature). Staff were very helpful in arranging taxis, directions, late night snacks, and loaning me a phone charger. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. Used Reflections Spa but was disappointed as so many children in the pool with floats etc that unable to swim any lengths. Changing room too busy as well with children running in and out some of an older age. No privacy when changing. Breakfast was good, but felt was all undercooked ie bacon, sausages, hash browns tomatoes could have done with an extra 5 mins in the oven.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. Used Reflections Spa but was disappointed as so many children in the pool with floats etc that unable to swim any lengths. Changing room too busy as well with children running in and out some of an older age. No privacy when changing. Breakfast was good, but felt was all undercooked ie bacon, sausages, hash browns tomatoes could have done with an extra 5 mins in the oven.

Got charged £6.40 for a pint of lime cordial and soda. Only ever paid £3 max. When I complained I just got a smile Won’t be eating there again and after this stay I’ll never stop there again

Another great stay! Lovely room. Breakfast always wonderful. We also had lunch which was really good. The place and the staff never disappoint. We didnt catch the name of the lovely waitress who served us brekfast and lunch but she was very efficient and professional. We visited the spa twice which is always great - must try and book in the summer when we can sit in the gardens.

The hotel is ok. The bathrooms are old and in need of refurbishment. The service is mediocre with the exception of one or two people, the other staff were not openly friendly or helpful. The food in the restaurant is ok but not exceptional and is overpriced and they automatically add 12.5% service charge. I have not know this as a resident in a hotel before.

A beautiful place to stay. So clean and spacious and very quiet. Every little detail thought of and we felt very special. Evening meal was lovely and a huge choice for breakfast. All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay

Lovely stay. Only comment is for the price disappointed with self serve breakfast. Also no offer of other coffees except the awful flat white that was served. Finally no offer for other eggs than the pre cooked fried and scrambled

My third stay at this wonderful hotel this year. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, very tranquil. The rooms are huge (but no air con) beds are comfy, Delicious breakfast, staff are very helpful and friendly and would definitely recommend DRAKES Al-Fresco restaurant. The spa/swimming facilities are a lovely bonus. Can't recommend this hotel enough, I've booked to go again with different friends in a few weeks, pure relaxation.

A lovely hotel with good facilities. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools. Food was excellent, including a lovely afternoon tea. One thing to note is that the café attached to the swimming pools is not affiliated to the hotel so food purchased from therecannot be charged to the room.

Spotlessly clean throughout. Very comfy and spacious room. Large bathroom which was very nice. Stayed here for a wedding. The gardens are beautiful and hotel is in a lovely location in the countryside. Therefore a peaceful setting. Breakfast was good. There was a good selection of food choices

The spa and hotel operate as separate businesses, which means charges cannot be added to the hotel room bill. Unfortunately, this was not explained to us at check-in. While at the spa, we ordered a few drinks and I did not have my card with me. Instead of offering a convenient solution, the staff advised me to get changed, return to my room to collect my card, and then come back to settle the bill. It was an extremely disappointing and inconvenient experience.
