Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Fort Lauderdale - Cypress Creek - Park North

The pool was closed due to repairs and renovations but this was the reason I booked this hotel for the pool. They should have mentioned that in their website before you book it.

When i first arrived i noticed the lobby had a funny sent as if a dirty my was used ,but no mind to me once the room was clean and had no sent. When i arrived in the room it was fairly clean but the bathroom. Oh the bathroom was nasty the mildew had taken over the shower and the toilet reeked of urin. Then to add to that the pool was out of order and it seemed out of commission for a while that should've been stated i would've stayed at a different hotel I have pictures but the app wont allow me to upload them.

The door to the bedroom didn't latch, the deadbolt on the main door to the hall was broken, the windows were covered with algae, and the grounds around the building were covered with trash and debris. There are also sketchy people that spend the entire day sitting in their cars in the parking lot with the driver door open until all hours of the night doing who knows what, but made the stay uneasy as we did not feel safe to leave our room.

Fire Alarm batteries were dead, beeping in the hallway throughout the night. Smoke alarm detector in room was removed, more than likely battery was beeping in room as well. Doors kept open during late nights, not secure to those who have not paid.

The pool is closed water is black. Checking in was an hour late as nobody was at the front desk for 2 hours

All hotel need a Ice Machine, and Wi-Fi

In town for 2 nights. Location clase to route 60 and 62. No issues going to areas of interest. Continetal breakfast. Eggs cereal cofee tea hot chocolate. Vending machines. Hot water fountain in area for use if have your own supplies. After continental breakfast is over ,6am to 930am, no cofee available. Best to walk with a cup and coffee. No ice machine, find this strange being a hot state. Have a water fountain on the ground floor. Room was a junior suites. Full size fridge, stove top no utensils. Large microwave. Bed very comfortable. Sheets clean and comfortable also. No issues with this hotel . Car is needed if you are not a bus person. Prompt check in and out.

Front desk clerk wouldn’t supply me with a coffee cup at night. Stated they were locked up in the kitchen. I was unable to get into my area of the bldg through the outside door. Even though there was key card access there was no handle on the door allowing entry. See pictures. I paid to have convenience of hotel.

No one to check you out of the hotel. Front desk agent was non-chalant with directing me to just place the keys on the counter. Went down for breakfast before departure only thing that was available was nutrigrain bars and muffins with coffee. Elevator was surprisingly out of order by the time I went back to the room which was only 5 mins difference. The air condition was very cold which is excellent. Shower head had mold and mildew starting to build up, soap dish was peeling. Stove top was very rusted. My major problem I had with the hotel was, everytime I would use he elevator it smelled as if someone had a cigarette party in it. Alot of people was hanging out in front on the daily. The hallway carpets needs to be shampooed.

The room was dirty. Dust, uno cards and spider webs below the bed. Molds on the bathroom tiles. The exterior of the windows had green moss . The appearance of the room indicated that it has not been cleaned or cleaned properly for a while. Worst of all. There was a cleanliness check card on the wall signed by a manager. Crazy, which manager approved a room of that condition. The pool was shut down. Leaves, moss and mosquitoes were evident. The condition of the pool suggested it was inoperable for more than a month. A notice that the pool is not operational should be published on Expedia and the other booking and advertising sites. We got to the hotel at 8pm. Hours after checking time. Tired from a long flight. On checking in the front desk officer indicates that the room we book is not available. I proceeded to ask why, since it was booked a week in advance and paid for. Her response with an attitude was and I quote. "I can only tell you what we have and what's on the system." Then she ask. "What you want to do?" The property states free breakfast. After checking in we were informed that the breakfast is on the go breakfast. Each morning we got a sugary muffin and granola bar. Smh. No security, the carpark was very dark at nights. Employees were dressed in hoodie and head ties, couldn't differentiate between guess. I have stayed in various hotels in fort lauderdale and this was absolutely my worst stay and hotel experience. Never again

There were multiple bed bugs in the room

This is the most disguising hotel I have ever been. The whole hotel smells like cigarettes and the floors are always very deeply dirty. Staff is very unfriendly. They should update the photos to the most recent state of this place. It seems it was e never cleaned since the photos. Also, there is absolutely NO FREE HEALTHY BREAKFAST as they claim. That is FALSE. They should remove it from the hotel description. The worse staff as well. Very rude people. It’s very unfortunate that Expedia allows these kind of claims.

I was coming from Tampa and I found the shower with mold and there were cockroaches in there, I could stay in those conditions. I preferred to come back to Tampa instead to stay there.

The rooms were not clean, sheets not clean, no phone worked in the room, microwave was not working. Just not a good place to stay.

I couldn’t and didn’t stay on the property. The hallway had a strong odor of dogs, and the room was not cleaned properly. There were stains running down the kitchen cabinets, and the stove still had residue from previous use. The bathroom was absolutely unacceptable—there were visible urine stains and mold in the bathtub, which also had hair left behind. Overall, it was the most disgusting place I have ever booked. I do not recommend this property to anyone.

The experience was average. I didn’t like the smell in the lobby area and elevator. The room was cozy. However, the bathtub had black spots around the faucet. I’m not sure if it was dirt or mold. Also, there was used underwears (thongs) on one of the top shelves in the closet space area. It was hidden. So, it wasn’t easily noticeable. But I saw it and was disgusted. Front desk wasn’t always available at hours at a time.

Airconditioning in room wasn’t working. maintenance guy came in and said that they needed to change the air conditioning. No one ever came no one ever called two days I was with no air. The room was hot I was very uncomfortable

For being a property with no smoking the ROOM was horribly STINKY And Unbearable to sleep, gave me a headache, throat hurtsand nose hurt.

Needs a renovation, breakfast was very poor but we had a big room and beds were comfortable

We were not happy at all with our week-long stay. The shower was disgusting to the point where my children refused to bathe in it. The kitchen faucet handle broke completely off when we tried to use it. There was never an attendant at the front desk and the process to request silverware, plates, towels, etc. was not annoying. Their breakfast is a joke. The entire hotel had a weird smell. The pullout couch had stains on it and the mattress on it was about 3 inches thick, so our family of five had to share 2 beds. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I hesitate to ever consider staying at another Extended Stay in the future.

A lot of things inside room needs repair/replace

Toilet seat was broken , faucet handles fell off, had to be standing right in front of the t.v. For the remote to work could not sit on couch or lay on bed and surf channels Hallway was very dirty. Construction in the room above us at night was weird

My room floor was full of dirt and sand somebody’s old razor was on the floor as well it was mold and mildew on and in the shower head as well as on the tile inside of the shower and the paint was peeling inside the shower and other places throughout the room and my room number was room 258

The hotel is old and needs to be refurbished. It had a very musty smell. The walls were paper thin.

Staff was good. Room was clean. Wifi very slow. Breakfast was only coffee/tea, oatmeal, small muffin.

The ladies at the front desk were great and helped us out

The woman at check in was one of the nastiest people I have ever dealt with. Fire alarm went off during v the night And as they were putting out breakfast ONE HOUR late. I got yelled at when I took a muffin because I had to leave to get to an appointment Horrible experience

Friendly staff, very helpful and could easily dorect me ti services in the neighborhood (dry cleaning and haircuts)

Checkin started at 3. We arrived at 6. Room not ready until 8:30. Room was nice and staff apologized for being short staffed. Not really their fault but is a sign of the times that there are jobs out there if people want them. Also the next morning, the advertised grab and go breakfast ran out by 8:30.

The pool is closed water is black. Checking in was an hour late as nobody was at the front desk for 2 hours

Check in was at 3pm. I arrived at 5 and room wasn’t ready. Staff not pleasant. Acting like they giving rooms for free. Poor customer service. No explanation, no excuses etc. When I finally got to my room the floor was wet and room full of odor (the allowed pets). I started to look for other hotels but all were full.

Staff was horrible, I could not stayed there even tho I paid.

Will never stay again! First off when I arrived to check in there was no staff at the counter. Waited 5 mins before someone came out then after giving them my id and cc they said the manager was upstairs doing rounds so had to wait until they came back to take the deposit. So the check in process took over 20 mins. Finally when I got into the room there were spiders and bugs we found, the room was not in good condition. Look like they tried to renovated the place but very poorly done. Lastly there were no utensils in the room. when I went out to ask for it at the front desk, the lady was very rude! She claims she just clocked in and I'll have to wait until she settles in. I stood there and waited 5 mins just to watch her walk about 15 feet to get me a set. Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had staying at a hotel. Only reason I choose this place was because it was close to where I needed to return the rental.

Although the rooms and the facility was clean, they were bare bones for their amenities. Free breakfast was packaged muffins and nutri bars. We expected a bit more. The staff was polite and friendly. The plusses were it was near to good restaurants and conveniences. We stayed 2 nights. I think this particular Extended Stay was designed for families that need a clean place to stay for an extended period of time at a fair price.

No caution was provided about the property’s recent flooding from Hurricane Helene. Trash and debris present throughout the exterior. The odor of mold was heavy inside. Rooms reeked of mildew and cigarette smoke. Street people hung around the entrance and exits, smoking nicotine and other substances. Front doors appeared not to have been cleaned in weeks. Rarely anyone staffing the front desk. Room was to be ready at 3 pm; finally able to check in at 5:30 pm. Door to room and exit to outside locks weren’t secure; homeless people were sleeping in parking lot in cars; they also had access to stairwell, as people kept propping door open with rocks. Noise from sirens and people trying our door lock all night was distressing. Couldn’t get a decent cup of coffee. Bath towels, one per person, were pitiful. Would never again consider a hotel in this chain - apparently no corporate support available during a crisis state ?!

Proximity to freeway

I was assigned to a first floor room, across from a janitorial room. It was difficult to rest due to the constant noises, either from the slamming doors or patrons talking at all times of day or night. Felt very unsafe. Shower never had hot water, pressure very low too. Picked this hotel due to the proximity to my workplace, but left very disappointed.

I liked that the property was only 10-15 minutes drive from where I needed to go everyday. The place was not as clean as I would have liked.

Breakfast consists of oatmeal and coffee. Glorified low income apartments. Run down, smells, dirty. Outside door doesnt lock.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Staff were extremely rude. The breakfast was a JOKE. Staff told guests that’s all we have. 2 bananas and 3 muffins. This hotel needs a total revamp.

Everything about our stay was terrible. I think this hotel is a fraud. They get you in and then if you want to leave it takes time for them to credit you back the money you have already paid. I have filed a complaint with corporate, will send the manager a complaint letter, and will file a complaint with the BBB. I have never had as many complaints as I have now. No key to the room, no Pool, no complimentary breakfast, TV in the room did not work, If you have an extended stay as I did they only clean the room every 7 days. I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies and a bathmat for the disgusting tub. The room was damp and smelled of pee. Wi-Fi didn't work, so I had to pay an extra $22 for additional Wi-Fi so I could work. If I wanted the sheets and towels changed we would have to take the ones we had to the front for them to switch them out and then do the beds myself.

The property was located close to golf courses but the facility was very disappointing. The hallway smelled of rotting garbage that was reported to front desk but not remediated. The free breakfast was coffee, granola bars or a prepackaged muffin. The bathroom was not well maintained.

the breakfast did not show up and looks like it has not been available for a while, need to decrease price of refund $15.oo per person for the inconvenience and cost

Long hairs on the bed linen (not mine because I'm bald). Ad said free breakfast. First morning there was coffee and nothing else. Second morning there was a small rack with granola bars, and the coffee was out by 7:45am and never refilled.

Hotel is on the old side of things, hotel hallways were kinda dirty but room was clean. The bathroom has seen better days, the tub paint was peeling. Breakfast was no where in sight in the AM, should have gotten a cheaper hotel with no breakfast or more expensive with breakfast.

Free breakfast was not available. Only coffee (with no creamer). Kitchenette didnt have much. No dishwasher, no soap, hot pads, cooking utensils ect. Had to go to front desk to get plates & silverwear. Pool run down. Stingy on amenities.

Not many breakfast options, doesn’t restock when it comes to that, seems very budgeted and lazy compared to other hotels.
