Hotel was lovely and not bad for £40 a night but no answer on the phone regarding access, needed a pin to get past the barrier. There is also an enterance without a barrier but if you come from the M1 you don’t know it’s there until you leave the hotel. Only Had one pillow each as was a shortage and apparently this was also an issue for all hotel guests. Breakfast was okay but some of it was cold and overcooked.

Situated in an unattractive environment. No signs to the hotel in motorway Service Area, except for a small direction sign when the hotel was visible anyway, and towards the exit back onto the motorway. Unexpectedly had to go through a barrier, when no indication of this or the current password had been given. Had to ask someone coming the other way. Room very good, very clean, looked quite new. Bathroom very good except for a 'stuck'? sink drain.

Stayed before a flight ,no aircon in roomwas boiling There was a aircon machine to plug in but blew warm air out . If it was winter no issues as room was clean and basis but in summer dont bother . Has the worlds shitest gym too. But for £29 can i complain ? Possible not

The beds are comfortable and the whole place was very clean. On-site catering available, which is practical as the hotel is not located in the town centre. Breakfast a little expensive for what it includes. Friendly staff.

If entering though the services (which I would think most people would do) a code is needed to open the barrier. This code was not supplied non a number to ring Ramada to get the code. Spent time looking on the internet to find a number. Can see that the barrier has been there a long time so it should been known that a code would be needed and supplied. Also after a long drive a drink at the bar would of been nice but was told the bar was not open.

Average for the money and for an overnight stop. Room wasn’t particularly clean and only 2 sets of towels for three booked guests. We waited for 10 min outside the barrier and when we called reception there was no answer. A passer by took pity on us and a taxi and put the code in, but it wasn’t a great experience.

Needed access via a barrier that required a code. Couldn’t get the code till checked in and there was no option to buzz through to them on keypad. To add to the frustration there was no one answering the phone at the reception.

There are good & bad rooms here. Tonight my room was dirty, dust and debris up to skirting board where vacuum doesn’t reach. Windows that I couldn’t close. Curtains that were torn and not hanging on the rail. Carpet by bathroom door that was wet to walk on. Whilst not unfriendly, neither was it a friendly welcome when checking in. Positives were bedding clean and a nice breakfast. Where this hotel used to be a regular weekly choice when working in area it’s now a last resort.

The room was spacious although the bathroom was very small. Dirty corners and around the perimeter of the room. Breakfast was mediocre but did get vegetarian sausages on request. Value for money for the entire stay was good.

For a motorway hotel it is good quality, always clean. I use this hotel several times each year as it is about halfway a long journey i do. What is impressive is the consistent high standard, I've never had a bad experience there.

Whilst the public areas of the hotel are good when it came to the bedroom it was not great! Despite asking for a high floor room was placed in the ‘basement’ and this is obviously an area that needs a dramatic refurb. The room was clean in itself however damage to bathroom door and the worst nights sleep ever! Every spring could be felt in the mattress. As it was a solo trip thought I’d try the other side of the bed (2 beds pushed and secured together) but this wasn’t any better. A shame as price was great. Significantly let down by an extremely poor nights sleep - the min purpose of a hotel.

Basic, bed very uncomfortable with springs sticking out. At least being a double I could move to another part of the bed. Cold! Room has electric heater but the noise it makes as it expands and contracts and bangs wakes everyone up so had to turn off at night.

Very quiet room,i was concerned it would be noisy as so close to motorway services but even with windows open it wasnt noisy. Beds very comfortable, tv, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities available. Room was hot but asked reception for a fan and one was provided very quickly. Bathroom spotless, good hot shower. Towels provided. Dinner was nice, service good. Breakfast was 10 pounds per person which we found too expensive so chose to eat out. Overall very pleasant comfortable stay and would happily stay again

Probably the most important thing is a good nights sleep ,this wasn’t possible due to the uncomfortable bed. Besides that the room was clean and the stay was only short!

Very uncomfortable bed, felt like we slept on springs all night. Lack of allergen free options on menu. Confused bar service. Quite run down, signs of mould and damp in bathrooms. Cheap though and just ordered food in. Convenient location as uni accommodation was sold out for the night. Will not book again though

I usually stay here when travelling along the M1, it's convenient, usually reasonably priced, has good parking and the food and drinks isn't ridiculous. The rooms are small and a little tired but the WiFi is great, the showers hot and powerful and the beds are comfortable

When I realised this hotel was at a motorway services I feared the worst, but once I had found the way into the car park (which wasn't very clear), the hotel was far enough away from the motorway to not hear the road noise. It was clean and functional. Unfortunately on arrival there was no one on reception and after waiting about 10 minutes and a queue forming of people waiting to check in, I went looking to find someone. I found the receptionist in the kitchen with a couple of other staff and had to ask him to come and attend to reception.

One of the worst hotels we've stayed in in over 20 years business travel. We'd booked two triple rooms, one for 3 women and one for 3 men. The three men were given their room key and allowed to walk off to what turned out to be a double room with one double bed. Returning to reception we were told that they were full and that's all they had. After a lot of arguing we were given another 'complementary' twin. The room was PERISHINGLY cold - neither radiator nor portable heater worked. Asking reception if there was even another duvet in the hotel somewhere that we could have, we were given a very curt 'No! The hotel is full - i can't walk into another guests' room and take a duvet or heater off them'. Absolutely shocking service. We barely slept.

Upon arrival was told I had to pay £240 which I pre booked and payed for in advance. When going to retrieve proof of my payment we was giving a key card and told our rooms “that way” while pointing aimlessly. No explanation or apology was given after me panicking we wouldn’t have a hotel being 200miles from home. After returning from our festival the key card would not work for our room and they had to do us another one. While leaving told to give 10/10 review after me saying I wasn’t too happy about the visit. Again no sympathy or apologies from staff. I will be using a different hotel next year!

I booked a family room (for 3) and ended up coming to the hotel really late from Central London. When I arrived I\'ve been told by the reception guy they gave my room away to someone else assuming we\'re not going to come. My point is regardless of me coming or not my room is booked and paid for so why try to make money twice from it. The person at the reception was like "sorry your room isn\'t available so contact Hotel.com and get a refund!" where was I going to go at 4am?!!!. Anyways after many arguments I managed to get a room eventually.

Receptionist told us the card payment for the booking had been declined so we'd have to pay again. I showed her confirmation emails, and bank statement proving payment so eventually, we were allowed to check in. Rooms were tired and scruffy, but fairly clean. Bed was very hard and lumpy. We had to choose between Baltic cold, ora wall heater that rattled like crazy when it was running, which was 4:30 minutes on, then 1:30 minutes off....all night. Toilet fittings loose. Door architrave loose.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, having booked this weeks before our trip, we were called less than 24hrs before with them cancelling our reservation. They made false promises when I told them I was unhappy about it. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend that you book with this hotel just in case it happens to you too and then having to find a hotel at double the price in less than 24hrs.

When I realised this hotel was at a motorway services I feared the worst, but once I had found the way into the car park (which wasn't very clear), the hotel was far enough away from the motorway to not hear the road noise. It was clean and functional. Unfortunately on arrival there was no one on reception and after waiting about 10 minutes and a queue forming of people waiting to check in, I went looking to find someone. I found the receptionist in the kitchen with a couple of other staff and had to ask him to come and attend to reception.

No signs to the hotel in motorway Service Area, except for a small direction sign when the hotel was visible anyway, and towards the exit back onto the motorway. Unexpectedly had to go through a barrier, when no indication of this or the current password had been given. Had to ask someone coming the other way. Room very good, very clean, looked quite new. Bathroom very good except for a 'stuck'? sink drain.

Property was average, basic, but OK as a base whenout andaboutin the day. A good clean and a little maintenance and it could be good or above. Location was really good for travelling.

Convenient for Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. Rooms are clean and well presented. Situated within walking distance of motorway services so easy to buy food etc if required although there is a restaurant on site which we did not use so can't review.

For a motorway hotel it is good quality, always clean. I use this hotel several times each year as it is about halfway a long journey i do. What is impressive is the consistent high standard, I've never had a bad experience there.

Okay for one night. Convenient for Milton Keynes. Room comfortable enough but bathroom door didn’t shut properly and neither did the shower leading to a wet floor. Buffet breakfast okay but nothing special. Parking good but better signage would help - especially at night.

Hotel was lovely and not bad for £40 a night but no answer on the phone regarding access, needed a pin to get past the barrier. There is also an enterance without a barrier but if you come from the M1 you don’t know it’s there until you leave the hotel. Only Had one pillow each as was a shortage and apparently this was also an issue for all hotel guests. Breakfast was okay but some of it was cold and overcooked.

If entering though the services (which I would think most people would do) a code is needed to open the barrier. This code was not supplied non a number to ring Ramada to get the code. Spent time looking on the internet to find a number. Can see that the barrier has been there a long time so it should been known that a code would be needed and supplied. Also after a long drive a drink at the bar would of been nice but was told the bar was not open.

The room was spacious although the bathroom was very small. Dirty corners and around the perimeter of the room. Breakfast was mediocre but did get vegetarian sausages on request. Value for money for the entire stay was good.

Pro - Easy access from service station. Cons - Breakfast always the same, kitchen unable or unwilling to do poached, fried or boiled eggs. Shower control very stiff, room not cleaned even if you put the please clean me label out, had to complain to reception.

Stayed here as an overnight pit stop on a long journey. I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was very cheap. So I kind of wasn’t getting my hopes up for it being nice. However I was actually pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and clean, bed was comfortable. My only little gripe was a little bit of black mould on the shower silicon. The bathroom was spotless apart from this, but it’s a pet hate of mine in hotels as it just doesn’t look pleasant. Breakfast was also surprisingly ok, and the breakfast buffet was actually HOT, another pet hate these days is it’s actually hard to get food that is actually piping hot. All in all, nice staff and pleasant hotel. Would use again and would recommend.

Room was very good value for money. We stayed for a festival at the national bowl and it was very easy to get Uber from there (only a 15 minute journey). Great that it is on the services as you have all of the food options right next to you.

Everything was great apart from the shower gel had run out previously & had not been replaced. Then the best evening coming back despite putting the right hanger on the door, the room was not cleaned or touched after the first night. So no clean towels or shower gel. Reception was helpful & found the room had not been touched - wasn’t the only room - they apologised & got me towels & shower gel but did state some of the cleaning staff were lazy. Everything else was good - the food was excellent & well priced too. Shame you have to pay parking for such a large car park.

Séjour CATASTROPHIQUE!!! FUYEZ!!! La chambre un vrai four, une chaleur atroce que même leur mini ventilateur ne sert à rien! Fenêtre fermée donc on reste dans la chaleur. Porte de douche cassée, lavabo bouché, indique WI-FI alors pas de WI-FI (nous nous sommes renseigné auprès des autres client il n'a jamais eu de WI-FI donc l'histoire de la panne complétement faux). On demande un remboursement la réceptioniste nous confirme un remboursement pour les autres nuits car nous sommes partis le lendemain matin vu l'atrocité de cette chambre, je dois passer par Hotel.com pour le remboursement. Une semaine pour reussir a joindre RAMADA hotel et a ma grande déception aura remboursement accordé alors que la réceptionniste a bien confirmé que ce sera le cas. Ce n'est pas un hotel mais un motel. Gardez votre argent, prenez un autre hotel celui est vraiment a fuir... Accueil 0.. Service Client.. 0 Très déçue.. Plus JAMAIS!!!!
