The staff very friendly and obliging. Dinner very good. Sadly, the interior, even the two best rooms, really need a refresh. Furniture and decor in common areas need replacing.

Nice location on the coast walk and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is a bit shabby. The shower fixture was difficult to use as the temperature control knob was extremely stiff. And the carpet in the rooms felt dirty.

We booked 2 sea view rooms for 3 nights. Only one room had a sea view and the bathroom in that room had black mould around the ceiling. The other room had a very old mattress and the bedding was old and thin. The pillows in that room were flat. We checked out after 1 night and will not be back. Whilst the staff were friendly, this hotel needs refurbishment, new mattresses, new duvets, pillows, blankets and linen. Mould is injurious to health and no hotel of the calibre that this hotel claims to be should have it.

We arrived late due to the ferry being delayed but the excellent staff were both welcoming and accommodating in rustling up something to eat after the kitchen had closed. Great location, friendly staff and a good, clean comfortable room.

The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a good shower and the area was quiet at night. The choice of breakfasts was excellent and the view from the restaurant was an added bonus.

It’s ok, needs updating. Most staff friendly, only let down by a couple. Room with sea view… only just!, over looking ugly roof. Food mediocre but hot. Probably wouldn’t recommend unless updated.

We Stayed in Room 9 (ground floor), very noisy room, lots of noise above and to the side of the room, terrible nights sleep. Bed was hard, the bathroom and hotel in general looked like it was still back in the 80’s. My advice, stay elsewhere!

It’s ok, needs updating. Most staff friendly, only let down by a couple. Room with sea view… only just!, over looking ugly roof. Food mediocre but hot. Probably wouldn’t recommend unless updated.

The rooms were clean and basically maintained. However the website is still advertising a snack bar restaurant on site. This is not the case. Cannot even get a cup.of coffee or a lunchtime snack, without walking 15 to 20 minutes or car ( then have to find parking). Would not have booked this accommodation if that had been made clear. The star rating reflects the room standard only.

Hotel prices but you don't receive hotel service. Had to request for room to be cleaned or clean Towels,tea,coffee,or cups as this wasn't done on a daily basis. The Towels were so old and yellow in colour not white. No staff on reception after 5. No access to outside seating area in the evening as doors were locked. The rooms were very unclean lots of dust on the fan and the bathroom was dirty especially the floor. Will not return

This hotel was excellent value. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic, and the bathroom needed modernising, but it was sufficient for my 1 night. The breakfast buffet was amazing - full english set me up for a day of cycling around the island. Again, staff were very attentive and friendly.

After having stayed at the property when it was a fully functional hotel the bed and breakfast that it now is was a bit disappointing. The building was clean and the room was comfortable but there was no room service and apart from breakfast, no other meals available. Reception is manned during the day but if you arrive after five you have to let yourself in and find your room. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet was disappointing.
