Ein tolles Hotel im modernen Motel-Style! Alles ist neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit vielen praktischen Details wie Ladeanschlüssen im Lampenfuß und am Schreibtisch, „Do not disturb“-Schild mit Magnet, dunkles Make-up-Handtuch (wer sich schon mal mit einem weißen Handtuch nach dem Abschminken abgetrocknet hat, weiß das sehr zu schätzen!), Fliegengitter am Fenster. Der Innenhof, um den die Zimmer auf zwei Etagen angeordnet sind, ist schön gestaltet und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Durch das offene Konzept hört man allerdings auch die Geräusche von draußen. Die Lage am Santa Monica Boulevard ist super verkehrsgünstig: Bushaltestelle (Linie 4, Haltestelle „Overland“) direkt vor der Tür, Restaurants in Laufweite und eine sichere, angenehme Wohngegend. Es sind auch ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden, wir benötigten jedoch keinen. Das Frühstück war lecker, frisch zubereitet und nachhaltig: Man wählt aus zwei Gerichten und einem Getränk statt eines Buffets. Wer eine strategisch gut gelegene Unterkunft sucht und nicht mit dem Auto in LA unterwegs ist: Die Lage ist perfekt zum Erkunden der Stadt! Uns hat sehr gefallen!!

This motel is conveniently located in a trendy area of Beverly Hills. They had a sturdy security gate to serve as a barrier between rooms and the street. The air conditioner & large screen TV worked great. They serve a pretty decent complimentary breakfast in the morning that offers 3 or 4 different options. They also offer a complementary beer or wine in the evening to get you rolling during happy hour. The towels are decent quality for this class of motel. The only real negative, and it was a big one, was the bathroom. They need serious makeovers, especially the shower. It has a rainforest spout overhead that pours directly down on you, and a one-of-a-kind wand that's absolutely ridiculous. It's a 9" x 1.5" x .5" chrome-plated rectangle stick that gently dribbles water onto your body when activated at high pressure. The shower provides hotel shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, but no counter or spot to place bar soap or shaving accessories. You either had to hold it in your hand or place it on the floor. They also charge $33 a night to park on their property. Why did I stay here? Because the price was well within my budget and upscale convenient location. Would I stay here again? If they changed the shower wands to be more functional it would be a no-brainer. Otherwise I will keep it as an option.

Absolutely loved this hotel. I know it was renovated from what most likely was a motel before, but it does not matter. The rooms were super clean and you had everything you would need. The front desk receptionist (two separate people I have dealt with) were both great and friendly. The breakfast was amazing-nothing you would find at other hotels, especially the more "budget friendly" ones. Two breakfast items and a drink are included. You can add more items or upgrade a drink a pay a price, but it was not outrageous. The courtyard was very nice and a pleasure to sit at. Parking can be a little difficult, but definitely not something I would give less stars for. I honestly cannot say anything bad about this place and I am quite a bit picky coming from working in the hotel industry (Marriott) in the past. If we were to go back to LA, I definitely would stay here again.
