Hotel is easy to access room is clean and comfortable . Water to drain from was slow as well as un shower . Shower curtain needs to be replaced . Pool is broken . We went to check out and no one in office .

This room was in need of several repairs. I chose this motel over another in Whitesboro Tx because of the reviews. I saw pictures where a room had been remodeled. I was under the impression the entire place was remodeled. It was NOT! There was only 1 hand towel in the room. There were no extra blankets. One of the beds was so close to the wall you had to walk side ways to get to it. The bathroom door was punched in several times and there was some kind of dirt coming out of the A/C. The A/C unit was ancient and took a while to figure out. We will never go back there.

It was dirty, holes in ceiling, pool was half full of disgusting water, no one else at this hotel. We were the only ones there. Found out the next day the city water was contaminated and on a boil to use and we were not told that either. It’s a dump.

I had reserved a king bed and none was available. Clerk argued with me that two doubles was better. The room was dingy. Towels were stained and sheets had stains. Upon check out, no one was at the desk after 10 minutes of ringing the service bell. The pool was dispicably nasty.

The new owners are should sale since they have no desire to replace damaged sinks tubs carpet walls. The TV needs new remote. Pool needs to be filled in and turned into a setting area if they are not going to operate it. They treat them staff poorly.

Room had a very musty smell to it which did not go away with AC running all night. Had several bed bug bites on me when I woke up at 4:00 AM. Reserved room on-line but somehow ended up with a smoking room reservation. Desk clerk corrected did give me a non-smoking room upon my request it could not refund me for the extra charge for the smoking room

Needed a place to sleep when visiting family in Whitesboro. Selected Victorian Inn because of location and price. Do not expect a five star hotel when staying here. It is an older hotel that is in good condition. Room is clean and presentable. Very basic with no frills, it does have what we needed. Would be nice to have a small coffee maker in the room or coffee available in the lobby, not essential, but would be nice for those of us that need that jolt in the morning. Fast food location very close, that was good enough. I thought the bed was very comfortable and slept great all night, hey, isn't that why we get a hotel room. Check-in was fast and staff was friendly. Location is next to highway, but the room was quiet. Big question, would I stay here again. Oh yeah, no problem!! I have stayed in places that were better and some that were much worse. In my opinion, the Victorian Inn is a good value and a place I will bring my family again.

The outside looks freshly done. I was hopeful. Unfortunately, the lobby area looked like it was a storage facility and the smell was not great when we walked in. The room was the most disgusting hotel room I've ever stayed. Bugs everywhere; alive and dead. The bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. The towels were disgusting and not usable.There was notable blood stains and various other disgusting things all over the walls. Absolutely the most disgusting. The AC worked extremely well though.

Communication issues checking in, which is something I can overlook. When we got to the room, the white comforter had large stains on it, and cigarette burns.. asked for a new one to get another with pretty much the same.. it was comfortable and certainly CHEAP, so you can’t beat that..

The rooms were clean, the linens were pretty comfortable. The one room we had a microwave and full sized fridge. Which Is convenient when you have no where to go. Yeah the rooms are outdated a bit, but it was clean and didn't smell or have bugs. Saw pest control when we we There. It is only few blocks from beach.the pictures are not accurate.

You get what you pay for. We only needed a quick cheap place to sleep for the night. The mattress was stained and very uncomfortable bed. The pillows were good though. It definitely could have used a good cleaning.

First room didn’t even have bed made, second room the bed was dirty, ended up I. A room that was half clean. Then I was in my room in evening and a family walked in, the front desk had assigned them the same room!!!! Couldn’t lock the door the deadbolt was broken so had to put a chair in front so no one else could walk in on me.

The power went out around midnight in all the rooms. The office still had power and the outside lights were on. The office didn’t offer extra blankets, a refund..nothing!! It was below freezing outside! My child is now sick AGAIN because we had no warmth. I feel like a partial refund (refund for that night) is needed.

Check-in was fast and staff was friendly. Location is next to highway, but the room was quiet. Big question, would I stay here again. Oh yeah, no problem!! I have stayed in places that were better and some that were much worse. In my opinion, the Victorian Inn is a good value and a place I will bring my family again.

We were not able to get a room key. We were told that we would have to be let into our room by staff and that if we left the property, we would have to return by 10:00 pm or we would be locked out of our room. DID NOT stay there under those conditions, was also told that we would not be charged...we'll see. Checking my account carefully. Will not go back there!

Communication issues checking in, which is something I can overlook. When we got to the room, the white comforter had large stains on it, and cigarette burns.. asked for a new one to get another with pretty much the same.. it was comfortable and certainly CHEAP, so you can’t beat that..

I had reserved a king bed and none was available. Clerk argued with me that two doubles was better. The room was dingy. Towels were stained and sheets had stains. Upon check out, no one was at the desk after 10 minutes of ringing the service bell. The pool was dispicably nasty.

The shower only had scalding hot water..they got a plumber out immediately to fix it! This is my favorite place to stay when in the area!

This is a budget motel in a small town. It is not in a high crime area. If you need a clean, cheap place to stay then this is it. There are no amenities, the walls haven't been painted in decades, the staff is rude but for the price it is worth it as long as the room is clean.

I'll tell you right away, this is not the best area, but no one gave us any trouble. There was no loitering or drug deals etc that we saw. It was a relatively quiet trip- it was the week before Labor Day- not any loud guests or parties. We're actually staying there because We've been displaced from our apartment in Charleston and came to visit family and best friend.

Needed a place to sleep when visiting family in Whitesboro. Selected Victorian Inn because of location and price. Do not expect a five star hotel when staying here. Large property convenient to the lake. Clean room, nice room. There is nowhere to go for entertainment near the motel. This is not a complaint about the motel. I will definitely stay there again.

I have a vision for the future of this property. I think it's a great potential investment for anyone with good heart willing to donate funds to renovate some areas of The Victorian Inn. This property definitely has a lot of potential and I am willing to help update this facility for the potential I see it having. It is a quiet place.

It is ok for an overnight stay. The management is very, very nice. The property could definitely use some updates. It's like a fixer upper. It will do. I would go elsewhere for a long term stay.

The room looks like it’s stuck in the 80’s or earlier. The owners clearly live there and produce income off the rest of the rooms. More power to them I guess. However kind of feels like they should renovate. At least it’s got tv and a fridge.
