First the good: 1. Very efficient and nice staff 2. Very close to highway 3. So fun to get a goody bag upon arrival (snacks!). 4. Room was tidy Second the not so good: 1. Building surrounds are shabby and look bad (mow the lawn, remove the trash, don't store stuff in parking lot) 2. Hallway not super clean nor well lit 3. Room was very small (fine for one person though) I'd definitely stay there again because for the me the good outweighed the not so good.

The elevator was and the same spots for all the time I was there. My room wasn't vacuum at all and I ask for room services and all I got was new towels.Parking lot area the garbage cans outside the building where over flowing with trash.

Pros: Very clean room, staff was very friendly, easy check in & out. We overslept and didn't eat breakfast so I can't report on that. Cons: Outside of the front door were nice little tables and chairs, but there were cig butts on the ground around them. We would definitely stay there again.

I wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel was great. The customer service was absolutely AMAZING we were able to get checked in early (with a small fee very inexpensive) and we got our room right away. The hotel is pet friendly as well! The Sleep Inn was secure (with keycards). There was a full bathroom (with a CLEAN and working hairdryer) in the room with a desk, we had a queen bed, a beautiful bay window, mini fridge, microwave, closet space and tv (even tho we struggled with connection but we were barely in the room I’m sure they could fix it if you asked). No pool but splash lagoon along with many other attractions are only a walk away. If you are staying in Erie PA I would definitely recommend!

The bathroom could’ve been a touch cleaner - there was hair on the wall behind the door, and the shelf where the towels were kept under the sink was a little dusty. Otherwise, the place was nice. It was surprisingly quiet, considering how close it is to the interstate. The breakfast is decent. If you need food at night, there are a few places right across the street that you can walk to.

The man at the front desk was very nice. The room itself was kind of gross. There was hair in the shower, dirt in the shower and sink. The room smelled and had spills all over the countertop.

Stayed for one night. Queen bed was actually a double. The room was pretty small but it was sufficiently layed out and was manageable for a one night stay. The shower was not very clean, had orange build up around the bottom areas and dirt marks on the walls. The staff we encountered were polite and friendly.

This is an older property and definitely in need of updating. Cleanliness is significantly lacking; although the room seemed clean, the halls and common areas were dirty--hadn't been vacuumed in some time--and the parking area was full of litter. I will add that I was warmly greeted and checked in by Sweaty, and I did enjoy the bed--very comfortable queen with a nice duvet.

Dirty shower and bathroom are unacceptable. Pink-tinged serratia-ridden shower was clearly not cleaned regularly, and I was so disgusted I went to the store, picked up clorox spray and scrub brush and cleaned it myself, which worked immediately. Floors of the hallways had obvious debris, contributing to a disturbing sense of lack of cleanliness. I would definitely not stay here again

The shower was very dingy. All the surfaces needed to be scrubbed. The A/C was full of dust. However, the bed was clean and the floors were vacuumed. I’m not sure if I would stay here again based on the cleanliness of the room.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly and seemed to really care about guests. I rarely leave hotel ratings, but they were so nice and friendly, I had to let them know their care is noticed. Would absolutely stay there again. (One note of caution, it is near the highway, so you do get some road noise, but that's going to be the same for any hotel on that stretch of road.

I really like this property - The room was small but comfortable had all the amenities needed ( fridge, microwave, and a little window nook which I loved) - It is also well decorated and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was nice and so were breakfast hours. It just felt cozy - And the location is PERFECT ( safe- lots of stores/ restaurants, not far from downtown ERIE) - I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great place, great staff. Exceptionally clean room and facility. The continental breakfast should be called continental breakfast Plus!! Eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc. Very attentive and very accomodating. I stayed for two nights, and when I left I forgot my phone charger and another charger for a medical device. I called the next day and they went out of their way to have the items sent to my home via UPS. I paid for the UPS, but they took the items to the UPS store and arranged for the UPS staff to call me and arrange for the shipment. Outstanding!!

Very average hotel with small rooms. Paid extra for a king bed, received a queen bed. Our room was not ready for check in at 5:00. We received our key at that time and left to visit family, the reason for our trip. We returned at 11:00 PM to find we received a queen bed but we were too tired to talk to the front desk. In the AM, front desk argued and stated that we did have a king bed, that’s what it says on the screen. The bed was barely a queen. They would not refund the difference.

My overnight stay was wonderful, I had to leave before the breakfast started but the very nice lady had coffee already made and let me have some. She also gave me a couple of bananas, which she really did not have to do but was very much appreciated. I will definitely use Sleep Inn again. Thank you.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly and seemed to really care about guests. I rarely leave hotel ratings, but they were so nice and friendly, I had to let them know their care is noticed. Would absolutely stay there again. (One note of caution, it is near the highway, so you do get some road noise, but that's going to be the same for any hotel on that stretch of road.

We stayed one night at the Sleep Inn. Most hotels in the area were much more money but this was a great deal for what we paid. The room was small but was very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a good selection of things to watch on the t.v. Lots of food/shopping in the area. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We even received a welcome snack bag with some water and a few treats. Front desk staff was also very polite and welcoming. The only negative thing I can say is that it was noisy because there were many trucks getting on and off the thruway. We would definitely stay here again though if passing thru sometime.

I really like this property - The room was small but comfortable had all the amenities needed ( fridge, microwave, and a little window nook which I loved) - It is also well decorated and the staff is friendly. It just felt cozy - And the location is PERFECT ( safe- lots of stores/ restaurants, not far from downtown ERIE) - I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great place, great staff. Exceptionally clean room and facility. The continental breakfast should be called continental breakfast Plus!! Eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc. Very attentive and very accomodating. I stayed for two nights, and when I left I forgot my phone charger and another charger for a medical device. I called the next day and they went out of their way to have the items sent to my home via UPS. I paid for the UPS, but they took the items to the UPS store and arranged for the UPS staff to call me and arrange for the shipment. Outstanding!!

I had a nice overnight stay. The room was clean when I got there, and the AC was on—which was nice to arrive to a cool room. The room has a mini fridge and microwave. I didn’t interact much with the staff, but they checked me in promptly. The continental breakfast was alright, I’m glad they had scrambled eggs and sausage. Our stay here was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. They were always replenishing the food. This is where we will be staying when we are back in this area. Love the gift bag we received when we checked in. Oh, yes and let’s not forget the delicious cookies in the evening!!

The continental breakfast area was crowded, but the variety of choices, both hot and cold, was great! Pets are welcome, so I think there should be doggie bags and disposal stations.

The two things I look for: great air conditioning and water pressure: we’re both good. The AC was actually great. The goody bag at check in was great. Breakfast wasn’t as great. No one was keeping an eye on anything. A woman broke the pancake machine and everyone else was covered in pancake batter when they tried to use it. No breads or bagels were being refilled. Out of forks. Frozen butter. And many more issues.

It was a very nice hotel, with friendly staff. However the lobby smell is so strong with some time of air freshener that was just so overwhelming it made it difficult to eat breakfast. Other than that it is a nice hotel. Mirror was dirty, but that wasn't a big deal to us.

My room had to be changed 3 times during my short stay. First room, the refrigerator wasn't working and had water leaking onto the floor. Second room, the shower head did not produce water unless a button was held the entire time. When I asked for someone to look at it, I was told they wouldn't be able to check it until 10pm or to call the front desk in the morning. I stated that was unacceptable. Someone finally came up at 8:30pm to tell me they weren't able to fix it and they would give me a new room. Extremely frustrating to have to pack your things up multiple times and move all of your belongings. Unfortunately, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Prompt & smooth check in, breakfast was very good, the room was small but clean, the one wall was stained but didn't affect my stay, just kind of yucky to look at. All in all for the price it was good value for the money compared to what other hotels in the area are charging.
