Posada Real Los Cabos

Room cleaning and waiters were great!! The pool area needs major renovation and maintenance. The restaurant food quality was bad quality. Drinks are not consistent, everyone makes their own recipes. On the + side Rooms , hallways are clean

This property is a decent value for the money. Rooms look dated, but they're ok if you don't spend a lot of time inside. A useful perk is that the property has free drinking water stations on each floor. The food selection is ok, not great, but the low price makes getting the all inclusive plan worth it, considering the restaurants outside the property are for the most part expensive. The grounds and pool area are nice and were not busy at the end of January, when we visited.

The resort was quite old, but clean not many dining options only the little buffet no other restaurants. Hot tub was not working for three of the days. Staff was fabulous very friendly. Pool was nice and no problems getting a seat. Our flight was later in the afternoon and once we had checked out and checked our bags, they would not let us even go have something to eat out at the pool basically when you’re out you’re out.

Great relaxing atmosphere, a little construction going on at the time but never in the way! Very clean and affordable stay!!!! Great bar service at the swim up pool.!!

The property is on the older side, but it is very well maintained. The lobby had a nice bar with nightly entertainment. The pool was clean and fun to hang out in ( in part due to the swim up bar!). The pool furniture was in good shape. You could hang out at the beach also ( although the beach there is a shore break that isn’t safe to swim in most of the time). There were daily activities around the pool that were fun. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. As an all inclusive, there was a nice variety at the breakfast and dinner buffets and the taco/ snack bar at the pool had great food options to choose from. The all inclusive drinking was also nice. The grounds were well maintained.The hotel is just a short drive to a swimming and surfing beach and also to downtown San Jose del Cabo.

Close to Airport. Check in was easy and quick. Easy to get around. Nice swim area with swim up bar. Indoor lobby bar was good. All waiting staff was helpful and tended to our needs. Beautiful scenery including the ocean. Upon checking in I didn't like that we were asked to do a tour at a new hotel the following day which included a free breakfast. My hotel patio door was damaged. The food buffet could of had a better assortment of meals.

No AC for 7 out of 9 days night show suspended supposedly because it wasn’t enough people at the hotel which is not fear for us show has to continue no water for 3 hours for the whole hotel which they have to have a second plan for any water pump fail.t they cut the water off with no previous notice. The pool needs a lot of maintenance. The main concern was the AC because it was so hot outside and inside was about the same temperature on the days was on they had it very low over all I will not be back to this hotel no more. They do have a good AC in the rooms but I wasn’t willing to be in the room all day.

What you do get is quiet, very clean hotel with every room with an ocean view and a 2 min walk from the sand. No getting up at 6am to secure your pool lounger or beach palapa. No lengthy check in lines or lines at bar to get drinks. The beach is stunning but note it isn’t safe for swimming. Bfast buffet is good with tons of choices, beach side taco bar has what you need yo eat at beach or pool, service on beach is fantastic. Dinner buffet isn’t great but we could usually find something to eat. We preferred going out for dinner at a number of the restaurants a $5 uber away. Not much happening at night, mariachi band or karaoke usually. This is an early to bed resort so not for you if you’re looking for a party. If so staying in San Lucas makes more sense for you. Pros - Friendly staff, very clean, location amazing and every room with a balcony or patio. Cons - aging hotel with no upgrades (but a/c worked well in room), only small buffet, no restaurants, very small pool. Construction in area around the hotel.

I checked in April 29th and I should not have been able to check in being that they didn't have running water. I found out about no water once I got to the room and tried to wash my hands. I went back to the front and was told that they were having issues and the water will be on in an hour. We left and went to Cabo San Lucas for a few hours. When we returned it was after 9pm and the water was still not working. I was told that it will be on within ten minutes. I turned the faucet on in the bathroom and left it on to know exactly when the water will start working. It was around 11pm before we had water. I was told that a manager would be in the next morning to make some type of accommodations to the guests for this experience, but the manager never showed or so I was told. I checked on May 1st and the manger was still a no show. Danya at the front desk told me to contact Expedia and have an agent call them for a partial refund. Thank you Danya. The hotel lobby looks nice, the ouside is very nice, but the walls and door in the room were dirty. The very thin blanket looked old and outdated. There were two outlets. I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. My daughter hated the room so much that she refused to stay and decided that she would just hang in the lobby for a nap. Be prepared to be approached by a person wanting you to visit a vacation property. Yes, the incentives are good, but the salesman gets upset when you don't commit to ridiculous monthly payments.

The property was run down. The rooms were old and not kept up. Fresh paint was very much needed in the rooms. The furniture was old and worn. The bathroom was updated but not clean. The pool and jacuzzi was dirty and not skimmed. The food in the dining room was ok but not great. Cleanliness was lacking. We did not stay the complete duration of our stay and found other accommodations spending additional funds for our stay. There was no security and there a few guest that should have been escorted out and refuse service because they were literally so drunk they could not walk and were on the floor in the bar, lounge area. We did not get our money’s worth.

We stayed during the low season. Its peaceful, quiet, no crowd, everything we were looking for....except the strong clorox smell. When we got in the room after check in we had to air it out. When we got back from lunch, we still had to air out the room. When we got back from a morning tour, housekeeping did a great job, except for the stron clorox smell. That was enough, two (2) days of a strong clorox smell so we checked out early and went to another hotel.

Le falta limpieza a las habitaciones , a los cobertores, al baño, etc. los baños huelen a caño y hay cucarachas . Las instalaciones también son muy viejas. El personal es muy amable y te informan de lo que necesite uno.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und ist weder ganz neu, noch ganz sauber. Der Service ist durchaus gut, wobei bemerkbar ist, dass es eigentlich deutlich zu viel Personal gibt für die Menge an Gästen. Das Frühstück war nur o.k. (Bagels bereits angeschimmelt, aber frisches Obst in Hülle und Fülle). Zimmer sind beim Dekor wie in den Fotos, allerdings ist auf allen Oberflächen ein gewisser Schmuddel bemerkbar, hier könnte man nachbessern. Raumhöhe extrem niedrig, aber Betten, Handtücher in Ordnung. Wir zahlten knapp über 100€ für eine Nacht mit Frühstück und finden das gerade noch preislich akzeptabel (wegen der Lage direkt am Strand). Mehr würde ich keinesfalls zahlen.

I liked the fact I only stayed one night. Where do I start. The room smelt terrible on arrival, moldy and damp. No hot water, terrible food. The reception managed to put everyone requesting a twin in a double and everyone requesting a double in a twin. You could not make this up. Would never stay here again.

The staff at Posada Real are amazing! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the property is right on the beach. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxed vacation.

Tv did not work, NO HOT WATER, maid service terrible, did not replace condiments (coffee & water), rooms in need of updating- rust, rotten wood, linen like sand paper. Positive- nice location

They put us in a room where there are re-doing some rooms, noisy and could smell chemicals. They didn’t clean our room, even after asking about it. Breakfast was mediocre at best! Would not recommend it stay here again!

If you like hot water showers do not stay here. I’ve been here twice and warm water only. Plus the maintenance person said to run the water longer to get hot. Waited 10 minutes to get warm. What a waste

The property's initial impression is one of outdatedness, with no elevator and basic garden decor, including empty ponds. Evening entertainment features live music and karaoke. The check-in and check-out processes are smooth, with friendly and helpful ground staff. Although the room is antiquated, with a door that barely shuts and a rusted shower head, the bathroom is small and lacks hand towels and adequate complimentary toiletries. The balcony offers a pleasant view. The room has limited outlets, so guests are advised to bring extended cords. This hotel features a single main buffet restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating. The wait staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. While the food is satisfactory, the selection is limited, and the flavor profiles are somewhat uniform. The restaurant manager deserves commendation for ensuring guest satisfaction. The beach is meticulously maintained, with staff leveling the sand each morning. Although the beach is not suitable for swimming due to strong waves, it offers a pleasant atmosphere. In conclusion, this hotel is a budget-friendly, older establishment. The primary reason for a repeat stay would be the exceptional staff.

I really wanted to like this resort but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations and I would not recommend staying here. Below are my pros/cons: Pros: -The beach was huge and clean. The property grounds were well-maintained and beautiful. -Staff were friendly enough and helpful, though I didn't interact with them much. -There are hammocks outside, along with a pool and hot tub. -Some nice restaurants are nearby within walking distance, and Plaza Mijares (great area) was a short Uber ride away. Cons: -Having a good night's rest proved to be very challenging. The beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable: the pillows were small and lumpy, and the mattresses made you wake up in pain because their springs would dig into your body. -The room doors were SO loud. If you tried to take a nap or fall asleep at night and one of your neighbors came back to their room, there's no way you could sleep. I had to hear doors basically slamming throughout the day and into the night. -The food selection was lackluster and the meals were overpriced. The fruit was covered in flies so I definitely wasn't able to take advantage of the buffet, which didn't have that many options to begin with. If you want to get a nice meal at a decent price, leave the resort. -The pool: I didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool because there were children in there day and night. It looks like the pool was also 5 ft. around and didn't get any shallower than that. -Hot tub was very small as well!

It’s a nice little hotel but dining areas and lobby are HOT, their buffet is reasonable, although they had an actual Menu. The rooms are clean but very OUTDATED, not more the two outlets available for electronics in room, one thing I didn’t like is that you can hear everything and everyone passing by really loud. Pool is nice. And their little outdoor area is pretty cute.

Beautiful quiet location on the beach. The rooms are very dated though with poor quality beds, no bolt to lock the room door. The value is good so we sleep here but eat off the property.

This hotel is always very clean, the staff are amazing -welcoming, helpful and very nice. The rooms are original decor and well maintained. Located right on a lovely beach and near many good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast buffet is terrific. We have stayed here many times and highly recommend it.

Warning: you cannot go in the ocean in front of this hotel. The beach is beautiful, but the riptides and currents make it impossible to swim here. Nowhere on the website does it state this!!! The front desk staff were very unfriendly. Upon checking in, we were made to sit through a kind of orientation that was actually a pitch to go to a timeshare presentation. This was so off putting and unprofessional. Also, be aware that there is an automatic gratuity charged, one that they didn’t mention at check-in. The servers and cleaning staff were friendly. The food was tasty, but like all buffets, it got repetitive quickly. The daytime activities were lacking, but we enjoyed the live Cuban music and the karaoke/DJ. This is a budget hotel, with a budget experience.

Poco profesional y el servicio nada que ver muy malo

We were treated very disrespectfully and basically told Americans were no longer welcome in their country by more than one staff member after we inquired why we were getting terrible comments and treatment

The staff was so attentive and the food was fantastic. I was bit disappointed about no a-la-cart, but the buffet didn't disappoint.

Horrendous. Person who greets you is a pushy time share individual named Jesus. We reported cockroaches in our room after the very first night, and he said it was the first he’s ever heard of it. Jesus said that Expedia wouldn’t work with us and only offer to upgrade our room. We couldn’t relax staying in a place with cockroaches. We were able to eventually directly message an Expedia rep on the app and they canceled the remaining nights at this place so we could offset our cost to book somewhere else. Only paid $600 more to upgrade to a better all inclusive and it was a different world! So glad we only stayed one night at this place.

The staff at Posada Real are amazing! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the property is right on the beach. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxed vacation.

Facilities are old, rooms aren’t clean, we see human hair in corners of the room. Every staff we met at this hotel (except for two waiters in the restaurant, and the artists perform in the lobby) are cold and kinda mean, especially the ladies at front desk and the lady welcoming guests at the entrance of dining area, it seems like they hate their jobs and are forced to be in here. No service at all, WiFi is terrible. The only good part is the ocean is beautiful.

This was our 4th time we have stayed at Posada real. We have always been treated very well. The reception staff is excellent particularly Danya who has geeted us on all our stops and is like meetng again a friend. This trip she assisted us in upgrading our room to a full ocean vew which was worth the reasonable extra cost. The kitchen wait staff was again just excellent, particularly oNuel who was very effieient. I must mention the trainee student Ingred. Ingred's beutiful smile brightened up many a morning. Over a number of stays we have not been disappointed. The facility is extremely well maintained, the pool is great and sitting on the beach watching the sunrise is also an excellent experiece. It was exactly what it was worth, I wanted something all inclusive but not super Luxe. I'm a regular Joe if I had to describe myself I don't need the best of the best. The rooms are nice, nothing fancy but they are clean and the bathroom is nicely done too. The staff is super friendly and if you get there early like I did you are free to enjoy the amenities until check in time. The food was good, drinks were cold and the beach view was gorgeous. You can walk the beach but don't go in as the current is very strong. Follow everyone's warnings. If you're not sure what you want to do while you're here no problem. There is an activities concierge and as a solo Traveler I found it very affordable. Some of the in-resort activities are free as well. This place is worth every penny. I would suggest it to any of my friends and family

Great walking distance to local shops. About a mile from the central plaza where there’s tons of shop , eats and drinks. Big bang for your buck

its supe clean, super quite, and all the staff are nice, one thing doesn't say in the reviews is that you can't swim in the beach, you have to drive or uber, not too far, but its totally worth it.

Very convenient to all of San Jose

The food was overall very good. There’s only one real restaurant that’s buffet style but all the options were really good. They have a food hut by the pool that had delicious options as well including ceviche and quesadillas that were fantastic.

Posada real is the perfect destination if you’re looking to relax all throughout your stay. I give it a 8/10, my stay was very good for relaxing and enjoying the days laying on a lounge. The food was great with lots of selection, and the all inclusive was affordable. The hotel staff very attentive. This was a small hotel compare to all the others so I believe that has something to do with the good attention. I don’t give a 10/10 because they can do better with the entertainment at night but overall a good stay.

This was a poor facility. The food was terrible and the birds were eating the buffet. No air conditioning in lobby. The rooms were old and the beds were in bad condition. The pool felt like slime was in it. The only good thing was the water machines around the property, otherwise I would not eat or drink anything else.

The food is good and actually tasty. While theres not a lot of options, the food that is available is quite good. Theres one issue that i did not like, and that is that from 11 to 12, there are no food options!! The restaurant closes at 11, and the snack bar doesnt open intil 12.
