SeaStays Apartments

We rented a room with balcony which had a beautiful view of the ocean. Valet parking was very nice and easy. Liked having refrigerator. Went to lower level for coffee and breakfast sandwiches every morning. Pool was big and clean.

pool was closed, had no idea.. when we tried to check in, they didn’t have my reservation & I needed to call a completely different phone number and get them to send over my confirmation of booking before given my room code. after finally getting in the room it was alright, averagely clean. no room service while you stay, if you do need something it’s $30 a pop. stores on site of hotel are crazy expensive & limited, and there are no convenient stores near by. bring what you need, and be prepared to drive or call a lyft if you want to go downtown. if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, this is it. beach was hardly crowded. just call to make sure pool is open & reservation is sent before coming. :(

Excellent location. Beach front plus a huge pool with plenty of lounge chairs to use. The building is very clean with a couple of convenience stores, bar, restaurant, and tours. The unit is very comfortable and spacious. Only missing a hair dryer. The free collins express trolley stops right across the street if you want to go down to south beach.

I liked that I could see the ocean from my room. I did not like that some of the tiles on the floor were broken. I did not like that the pool was not in working order at the time we were there, and I was told it was. I did not like that there was mold on the walls. I did not like that in general it was pretty dirty inside. We did take pictures and tried to post them but we couldn't upload them to the website. I am waiting for somebody from orbit to call me back. I would like it to discuss it further with them.

The property was nice the area was nice the valet was exceptional, but the only thing they could work on is the elevator.

The elevators were the worst part.

Very nice private secluded 16th floor studio. Pool was down for repair but not the hosts fault. Check in was a breeze. Clean, comfortable, great off peak pricing rates! A for my 4 year old and I! Easy beach Access. Cool shops, lower level store is easier on the pocket book. $9 pizza upstairs was a value!

Cons- The apartment itself seems relatively modern but has cheap aesthetics so there is a lot of ware-and-tear. TV remotes control both TVs in the apartment and they are in very close proximity of each other. There was no pot to cook with, just a small beat up pan. The elevators also take forever during high traffic hours. The security at the pool act like bouncers. The restaurant serves mediocre food. These are all minor inconveniences but collectively they add up and after an extended stay started to get to me. Pros- The location is prime. It is quiet and steps from the beach. There is a bar by the pool with decent enough bar food. There is also a small convenience store in the basement. The building itself felt safe and secure to stay in. The ocean view and sunrises are absolutely stunning and that alone makes the stay worth it. I would stay here again but probably not with kids

It would've been better it the pool wasn't closed, but it was nice to have the beach close by

The first day I found 2 cockroaches right in front the door second day another one under the sink And the garbage room is next to the apartment and you can feel the bad smell when you’re inside. The cleaning lady gave us a dirty look when we left because we were 5 minutes late from the time we left. where the shower turns on the water was old and moldy.

NO ONE HAD ANSWERS TO OUR ISSUES , DEAD ROACHES ON WALLS AND ROACHES IN THE CLOSET ALL OVER OUR SHOES AND ROACHES IN SHOWER COMIN OUT OF THE BATHROOM CUT OUT IN THE CEILIN. FROM DESK GAVE US THREE PHONE NUMBERS TO CALL CAUSE THEY CANT DO NOTHIN AND NO ONE ANSWERS PHONE CALLS OR TEXT MESSAGES. I WAS TOTALLY UNCOMFORTABLE SLEEPIN OR USIN THE BATHROOM FOR ANY REASON. MY HUSBAND AND I WAS PISSED OF ON MY BIRTHDAY👎

Biggest plus is that it's near the beach. Sheets were not clean and maintenance was still working on a leak in the sink when we checked in, had to ask them for a change in sheets, also I didn't like that there was no rug in the room, It's a big hotel that needs renovation, some rooms are being advertised on a different hotel name because they are just so awful, some are nicer. One or two valet staff were rude. Once I witnessed they had damaged a guest's car and police was called by the guest. Front desk staff are polite but inefficient and slow.

Dirty smelly hallways. The gentleman that was at the lobby checking us was very rude.

STAY AWAY!! Don’t book this!! It’s horrible and dirty and run down, the photos on hotels are not accurate. We paid for a room with large windows, a balcony and sea view - and got no view at all except of pigeons and seagulls from tiny windows. The entire place smells of bleach and mold and the bedding was dirty and the floor too. There were dogs hair allover the place. Just nasty!! Very noisy too since the doors don’t close properly. They did not have our reservation ready and the check in took 2,5 hours. It’s impossible to reach “seastays” since it seems to be a subletter not situated in the building. The valet parking is a joke and it takes forever to get your car.

Overall the stay was good. The unit was dirty and could definitely use a deep cleaning. Bathroom was the biggest area of concern. They have white bedroom furniture which is dirty so the 1st thing you see walking in to the bedroom is the dirty bed with a gorgeous view of the ocean.. the host communicates well however for the price I was have expected something more cared for. Oh and the restaurant downstairs extremely overpriced and the service was terrible.

Property was very chaotic during check in. Lots of maintenance items overlooked. No top sheets, rusty shower head, broken morrors, bedding smelled sour and host could not get us any at 7:30 pm so kids did not have blankets. Not worth the $.

If you have a thing about cockroaches, you’ll have a blast there. Otherwise, if you don’t want cockroaches in your bed and in your fridge and on your walls and all over the floor, then you’ll gotta go somewhere else. We made a complaint the first night, front desk didn’t help, just said talk to the host, which did not answer but I left a voice mail, which they never got back to me. I spoke to someone else through the texting service and said they’re going to exchange the room the next morning. They never did. Then finally the host picks up on our third day and says that’s strange, but we don’t have any other rooms open but I’ll send the cleaners tomorrow at 10am. She never did. When I called the Expedia costumer service, to tell them that the room we got is infested with roaches they offered me $108 dollars as compensation. Like whatttt..!? They called the host and apparently our host, Julieta, if that’s her real name, had said that there’s no cockroaches in the apartment and we hadn’t made a complaint about it on the first night. (and for this I have pictures & videos of cockroaches in the apartment and the text messages from the first night) So Expedia had to follow the decision of the host instead of the customer. Good to know for next time. There was no room exchange, no cleaners, no refund, no reasonable compensation, no remorse whatsoever. This place does not care about the customer, as soon as they receive the money in their bank, they’re done with you.

Very good location and room was clean on arrival. There were bugs in the room when we checked in, the host got the room fumed pretty quickly. The bugs stopped showing up eventually. Other than the bugs, this was a very good experience.

The view from the balcony room was our favorite part! However the downsides were that the air conditioner didn’t work and there was food left over in the microwave from the previous guest. The water pressure in the shower was also really low. The bed was really comfy and they were really good on communication.

This room had a great view and good location. The room was comfortable but the bed could be softer. The only reason I say good location is because we didn’t find many restaurants that we could easily walk to

The best part about this property is the free parking. There is a high volume of people in check in but our check in was successful and staff was nice. The room was a 8/10 but and I rate it as that because of the view and space.

Exactly what was to be expected, clean, showing its age simple well equipped kitchen good exterior pool and great access to the beach.

The property is old and the air condition is very noisy

We requested early check in and paid the extra $69 . Room was supposed to be ready by 1130a but it wasn’t . We were very tired as we flew all night from Alaska and had hoped to occupy the room as early as possible, instead we were not able to get into the room until just before noon. Juliana said she’d check on early occupancy but never heard back. The room itself was nice and had a beautiful view . The ad showed a balcony but we didn’t have one ( and the windows would not open up either ) A nice place however just disorganized check in

For the price it was amazing and the view of our room was incredible. Plenty of silverware and plates. The espresso machine was great as well. The beds were also very comfortable.

Kind of knew what I was getting from other reviews. Excellent location right on the beach at a good price relative to others in the area. Brutal check in procedures with the valet parking (far worse on other nights and for others), can’t understand why they can’t have a better system and onsite communication on site during check in. Bathroom door was basically destroyed and rotten, decades old cabinets and leaks from AC. Otherwise I enjoyed the view from the room.

Overall, the experience was great however, the Wi-Fi was kind of bad, but I really enjoyed myself there. It was my birthday. I will come again.

I used to come here often pre-Covid. This experience was a bit disappointing. The check-in process was a nightmare. Over an hour wait in the line and then there was no record of our stay in their computers. I was a bit disappointed that this was not a beach view unit. There was also a fire alarm in the morning. Not the best experience, but the Sea Stays owner was quick to assist with our problems. It was unclear to me that there was a separate check in and evidently we could have avoided the needless wait in line.

Very clean apartment, new furniture, Melissa host is very helpful, anytime that I had questions I would just txt and she will reply very fast. Location is very convenient, great beach! I’m glad that we stayed there. We had very good time! Will definitely come back!!! I recommend this place, 10/10. Thank you

Checking in to hotel took 3 hours, was INSANE! front desk lady was rude. Host was amazing and responded through text within minutes. Beach was amazing. Room was "ok", we were there for the ocean not the room. It was clean, just needed a lot of TLC. View from the room, priceless. Laundry for us to use- great. You will need to bring your own food, one restaurant, was great but gets expensive. Completely affordable.

Parking was good, beach was close, check in was a disaster waited over an hour to get in room early check in was $69

Awesome check in, Melissa was extremely helpful and checked in with us often to make sure we had what we needed and comfortable. Rooms was clean and was perfect for us. Definitely recommend SeaStays

The checkin was lengthly and staff were cold, unfriendly. The lobby was crowded, felt like a train station at rush hour. An oppressive impersonal atmosphere pervaded this place. Felt like cattle being herded into our pen. Forced to use valet service and our car was driven away. If we forgot something in the car no chance of retrieving it. Told that if we lost the little valet ticket we would pay an extra $36.00. Wifi did not work and there was no one accountable. Each unit appeared owned by private individuals and the one owning our unit would not respond to any questions. This is a model of accomodation where responsibilities are so diluted that good service is a myth. Owners get away with bad service with no mechanisms at accountability.

Location was great, property owner stayed in constant communication with me and replied with a reasonable amount of time. Which i thought was great

I had a great stay at this condo hotel! Check-in was smooth and easy, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate my early check-in request. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a breathtaking city view. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, and the on-site pool is also a great option for relaxing. The valet service can get busy at times, but it wasn’t too bad. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again!

The Overall Experience was amazing. The Location is Great and having the valet parking is a big advantage. My only suggestion is to improve Communication to provide Support for guests. Only Bad: Security of the Building is disrespectull. Never helpfull neither polite.

Free Valet & off the beach

Location is fantastic and price was right. It is an old property but right on the beach. Had a studio room with two queen beds that were comft. It seemed to be a good area. Restaurants about 1.6 mi away. There is a bus/trolley pick up right out front.

Love how it sits right on the ocean with easy access to the ocean / beach.

The property was as expected. Clean, had all necessary equipment. Utensil knives hard to use because they were not cutting at all.Melissa was very accommodating and provided additional beach chair per my request. Thank you Melissa for your attentiveness ! The unit had comfortable beds. The property is very conveniently located right on the beach. The pool is easy to access. I would rent this property again because of its location and affordability. There is free trolley nearby that brings you to South beach. There is affordable public buses band very affordable Uber and Lyft services To get to Miami City Center and Airport.

We booked for a last minute stay and this was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect beach front location with a balcony, easy parking and good restaurants very close by. We’ll be back soon!

Good location, easy access, organized and clean.

Loved it, spacious and have everything that you need, frear coffee at the LL and pastel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free valet parking available 24/7 and very efficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Loved there setup where we didn't need a room key. They had keyless entry! Elevators were fast and the restaurant lounge BluGin was very good although I recommend to not order the lobster ravioli unfortunately it was not very good. Everything else we ate was very good!

The Expedia listing stated we’d get breakfast as well as a pool but none were true. Pool was under maintained and we have to pay for breakfast. Our room had roaches coming out of a crack we had to plug with a towel… never staying here again

Great location, right at the beach. Clean rooms. The food was great both at the restaurant inside the property and the one at the pool. Loved it and definitely recommend it. Excellent customer service experience, they were very helpful.
