The hotel and room was fine but the pool was closed and filthy. No ice machines on the property were working. Not Quality Inn standards. Worse one we've ever had to stay.

When checking in she was courteous and friendly. We chose this hotel because of the pool. It was clean and we enjoyed it. The room was clean but this building is older and needs a lot of work. Our shower curtain was broken and did not want to hang on the rings because they were all broke. The hangers were broken. Patches on the walls were not done very good. The ice machine was out of order and there were no vending machines. The "hot" breakfast was waffles. Milk for the cereal was left in a dirty pitcher so the milk smelled sour. I would stay here again because of the pool and the room was clean.

I had stayed a night at a Quality Inn in Cape Girardeau last night, and it had a nice pool and a good breakfast spread. For that reason, I tried this Quality Inn. The pool was totally green and not usable -- looked like it had been that way for awhile. It would have been nice if the website had mentioned that. Also, the breakfast selection wasn't as good as the one from yesterday, either.

The pool wasn't open, not even cleaned. The pillow cases had a musty smell. The floors are dirty and shower tub was debatable on whether it was actually clean or not. The room in the air was off for who knows how long and it was in the mid to high 80s.

room 109 likely had bed bugs as my sister is covered in bites. My room has crumbs under the sheets. I am led to believe the bedding is not being properly washed. my room also smelled extremely musty the entire time I was there. I will not stay at this location again. there is also homeless staying in the back parking lot behind a shed structure.

Stayed one night, sink was clog, bathroom floor was dirty with hair in the corners, Dust in the walls,shower had hair in it, I had to replace the toilet paper roll because it was done. I went to microwave my daughter bottle and the microwave had something spilled in it and was let there to dry out. I was so grossed out, I even showered with my sandals on. It’s one thing viewing their company pictures but in reality it was completely opposite.

Upon arrival we checked in and went to our first rm. There was a huge stain on the sheet. Changed rooms. Second room bedside lamp was smoking. A left over item from a previous guest. Before leaving we saw a roach. There were hangers but nowhere to hang anything. The blow dryer plug was cracked and I was afraid to use it! Would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

Property was right off the highway, so easy to get to. We arrived late, around 9:30 pm, and no one was at the front desk. I tang the bell several times before someone arrived about 10 minutes later.Room was clean and quiet.

Room was old. Had placed loose carpet squares down over tile. Slipping and moving didn’t even match. Sink faucet dripping. Bed was extremely hard., but you get what you pay for. I’ve stayed at Baymont before and nothing this run down.

The front desk clerk was very inefficient and could not find the reservation for a second room that had been confirmed. Had to get help and it was on her screen. Garbage bins were overflowing and bathrooms in both rooms were not very clean.

One staff member was very rude to our family. She was very annoyed that Expedia had filled her entire hotel. She was asked for accommodations, and she was very rude and annoyed that Expedia had made her work so much that day. I told her that Expedia filled her hotel she shouldn’t complain. Simple questions and simple accommodations became a huge ordeal with her while she was on the phone because she wouldn’t hang that up. Other staff members apologized for her behavior and they were great but the one staff member seemed quite annoyed that everyone was spending money at her hotel . The room had a towel rack that was broken a hole in the bathroom wall and was in need of a detailed cleaning on the floors and corners.

I will sue this place. Rudest most disrespectful staff/ownership. Woke up to them beating down my door at 11:00 when I didn’t check out in time. Unbelievable. They tried to force the door open when I was buck naked. After I paid late check out fee. They treated me like an animal.

Check in was fine, room was updated, there was a male hotel staff that was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was there coaching for the weekend and some of my players came to the pool, there was less than 10 people there including my girls. The guy came out rude and told us to leave. After we checked out, my daughter realized she left something in the room and we called to see about paying for it to be mailed to us. The first time I was hung up on, second time he seemed to act like he was looking, and then my daughter called in tears. He took her number but I doubt that he will call. Would not recommend this place for more than a one night solo stay.

When I checked in I was not charged a deposit I stayed the first day and night then my second day I left and came back that evening and was locked out of my room. I went to the office and was told I have to pay $100 deposit or leave and wouldn't be able to get my stuff out of the room. I had to call my mother in Louisiana to get the money sent to me so I could get back in my room and stay because my mom already had paid for the room for me for 2 nights $145. I don't see how they can get away with doing that after I already stayed the night before. That's not right and I won't be staying there again and will tell everyone about it and they won't stay because if you don't charge the deposit at check in you shouldn't be able to charge it a night and day later. My family has stayed at alot of hotel and they never did this. My mom spends alot of money on rooms because she gets rooms all the time just because and this has never happened and none of us will come to this place again.

Property was right off the highway, so easy to get to. We arrived late, around 9:30 pm, and no one was at the front desk. I tang the bell several times before someone arrived about 10 minutes later.Room was clean and quiet.

Close to the interstate and I'm a light sleeper, so not a good combination, but breakfast was good with more than just the limited usual continental breakfast stuff I've seen at more affordable motels!

We always stay at this property. It is close to the ball field. Nice swimming pool. Wendys resurant is in front of the hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily. Comfortable beds.

Sheets had stains.....niosy outside.....scared to death as there were "creepy" men hanging around outside drinking....terrified with these rooms on the outside and felt totally unsafe by not being inside a building. Felt as if it was easy to be broken into the room....Frightened all night & got no sleep..... Would have gone somewhere else but no rooms available.

The posting is false. The property is not connected to a convention center. The property is dated and feels unsafe. The front side is not being booked at all only the back. The trash of old room items is piled back there. I booked 2 rooms, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The door had gaps in it through which sunlight filtered in. I planned for my teenagers to have one room and I the other, but we didn't feel safe enough to do that. After, I killed a bug in the window and found black specks in the bed, we left. We stayed no more than an hour. They should be ashamed to not offer a refund for such a short, unsatisfactory experience. I just wasted my money. I drank a mountain dew and completed the rest of my trip. I certainly couldn't stay there.

You get what you expect for the money you pay. The room was clean and the front desk service was friendly. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. They had bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, orange/ apple / cranberry juice; the only hot choice was waffles. We only stayed one night and I would stay again.

The bed and bedding were super comfy! The room was spacious and clean. Everything was in working order. Breakfast was the self-serve waffles and various bread, bagels, and muffins. Not much in the protein group but sufficient

When checking in she was courteous and friendly. We chose this hotel because of the pool. It was clean and we enjoyed it. The room was clean but this building is older and needs a lot of work. Our shower curtain was broken and did not want to hang on the rings because they were all broke. The hangers were broken. Patches on the walls were not done very good. The ice machine was out of order and there were no vending machines. The "hot" breakfast was waffles. Milk for the cereal was left in a dirty pitcher so the milk smelled sour. I would stay here again because of the pool and the room was clean.

There was a dirty wash cloth left from prior occupancy, was the tub ever cleaned? Floor in bathroom was full of hair. Room smelled like smoke even though it’s supposed to be smoke free. AC unit was not working properly in mid August. Ask a staff member if they had an ice machine, she ignored me and got on her cell phone and walked away. Horrible experience, had to book in another hotel for the next day.

The pool wasn't maintained. Brown rainwater in the bottom of the pool. No elevators. The room smelled of strong bleach. The breakfast...shouldn't even advertised a breakfast. They had brown overripe bananas, 2 packets of oatmeal and a waffle machine. The coffee was bitter. To top it all off, my credit card had fraudulent charges on it after I checked out. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Never again.
