We were traveling with our four kids ages 23-13. We all fit well in the apartment. The views were fabulous. It would have been nice to have had some chairs other than kitchen ones to sit and look out. It was a great location - would come back again. The fans were much appreciated!

Centrally located apartment with great river views and partial bridge and mountain views. Plenty of towels and basic supplies provided. Kitchen had all utensils to cook a basic meal but no supplies provided ie oil, salt. Just coffee and sugar. Tiny elevator but enough to bring suitcases upstairs. Wouldn’t recommend for people with disabilities.

We stayed on the top floor overlooking Chapel Bridge. The cobble roads make it tricky with a suitcase as do the stairs. You have to come to the back of the building to get in. There is no reception. We took the 1 person elevator each day. They have a free washing machine and clothes dryer and we just had to provide our own detergent. Perfect addition. Also able to cook for ourselves which saved lits of money. Would definitely stay in this room again

The apartment was in a wonderful location and was well equipped. The staff was freindly and helpful. It was quite warm while we were there, so air conditioning would have been nice. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (all adults). You could definitely put more people in the main room but we all wanted a little privacy and this was just right. We loved the patio and the views from both sides. The location is excellent! The pictures are exactly what you get. We used the washing machines in the unit and the 2nd floor as we had a lot of laundry to do and left feeling refreshed and ready to continue our travels. We spent 2 nights there and loved it. You could easily cook but we went out for meals. I had some contact with the host prior to arrival and they were very quick to respond.
This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (all adults). You could definitely put more people in the main room but we all wanted a little privacy and this was just right. We loved the patio and the views from both sides. The location is excellent! The pictures are exactly what you get. The view from the apartment is amazing! It’s part of Hotel Schiff, and there’s several restaurants along the water to eat at. The Lion Monument was a quick walk away, and the train/bus/boat station is right there. We walked with our very large luggage from the train station without any issue. We were able to easily walk to the train station to get to Grindelwald First, Mount Pilatus, and the Lindt Chocolate Factory. It may be good to bring earplugs just in case. Because you are above all the restaurants, you can hear people at all hours of the night; however, we had the windows open because it was in the 70s/80s. We closed the window one night and didn’t hear anything, so if you’re staying during a cooler time, that shouldn’t be a problem. Also, it seems the church bells ring at 6:45am on weekdays (again, the windows were open so maybe not so bad if they are shut). A recommendation for the host is to provide more fans during the hot months, more towels (1 bath towel & 1 hand towel per person was provided), paper towels (there were none), and more toilet paper (we had 6 people and ran out and we were gone all day everyday using other bathrooms - there is a bathroom on another floor that you can use though). With all that said, we still highly recommend this place & would stay here again.

It seems that a one point in this building's history, this was once the Schiff Hotel. In fact the lettering on the outside of the building still reflects that. This building is an old structure renovated to modern standards but has its quirks. There is an elevator but it apparently was retrofitted into a space that was not designed for it. So it is very small but nonetheless functional. About two people at a time can fit. We stayed on the 4th floor, which was great. It has a very large window facing the river and offered a fantastic view. Arriving to the Hotel was a bit of a challenge as it was hidden in a small alleyway. There is a small lighted sign that says HitRental, and in front, next to the door is a coded key box which you need to enter your pass code (given to you by email). Once doing so, a key will drop out and allow you access. If you have problems there is an intercom phone box for you to communicate with an agent. Once we got in it was comfortable, with all the things one expects from an AirB&B; with lots of household amenities. On check out there is a check list of things that must be done and a lost key will cost you. You must also take out your own trash too. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would do so again. It is about a ten minute leisurely walk from the main train station and Lake Luzern pier.

The property is in the old city area, buzzing with activity & very picturesque. did have a bit of searching the entry as google maps wasnt too accurate. close to the train station. Room was large,clean & comfortable - would recommend it !

Our family of four really liked this property! The location and view out the window was amazing! It was very spacious and worked very well for us. We were always on the go and truly only slept there during our three night stay, but the beds were comfortable and I would recommend this for anyone visiting Lucerne!

The Lion Monument was a quick walk away, and the train/bus/boat station is right there. We walked with our very large luggage from the train station without any issue. We were able to easily walk to the train station to get to Grindelwald First, Mount Pilatus, and the Lindt Chocolate Factory. It may be good to bring earplugs just in case. Because you are above all the restaurants, you can hear people at all hours of the night; however, we had the windows open because it was in the 70s/80s. We closed the window one night and didn’t hear anything, so if you’re staying during a cooler time, that shouldn’t be a problem. Also, it seems the church bells ring at 6:45am on weekdays (again, the windows were open so maybe not so bad if they are shut). A recommendation for the host is to provide more fans during the hot months, more towels (1 bath towel & 1 hand towel per person was provided), paper towels (there were none), and more toilet paper (we had 6 people and ran out and we were gone all day everyday using other bathrooms - there is a bathroom on another floor that you can use though). With all that said, we still highly recommend this place & would stay here again.

It seems that a one point in this building's history, this was once the Schiff Hotel. In fact the lettering on the outside of the building still reflects that. This building is an old structure renovated to modern standards but has its quirks. There is an elevator but it apparently was retrofitted into a space that was not designed for it. So it is very small but nonetheless functional. About two people at a time can fit. We stayed on the 4th floor, which was great. It has a very large window facing the river and offered a fantastic view. Arriving to the Hotel was a bit of a challenge as it was hidden in a small alleyway. There is a small lighted sign that says HitRental, and in front, next to the door is a coded key box which you need to enter your pass code (given to you by email). Once doing so, a key will drop out and allow you access. If you have problems there is an intercom phone box for you to communicate with an agent. Once we got in it was comfortable, with all the things one expects from an AirB&B; with lots of household amenities. On check out there is a check list of things that must be done and a lost key will cost you. You must also take out your own trash too. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would do so again. It is about a ten minute leisurely walk from the main train station and Lake Luzern pier.

We loved our visit to Lucerne. This flat was in such a great location! It was easy to walk to from the train station and was in the heart of all the activities. My adult children absolutely loved it as well.

Centrally located apartment with great river views and partial bridge and mountain views. Plenty of towels and basic supplies provided. Kitchen had all utensils to cook a basic meal but no supplies provided ie oil, salt. Just coffee and sugar. Tiny elevator but enough to bring suitcases upstairs. Wouldn’t recommend for people with disabilities.

We stayed on the top floor overlooking Chapel Bridge. The cobble roads make it tricky with a suitcase as do the stairs. You have to come to the back of the building to get in. There is no reception. We took the 1 person elevator each day. They have a free washing machine and clothes dryer and we just had to provide our own detergent. Perfect addition. Also able to cook for ourselves which saved lits of money. Would definitely stay in this room again

The apartment was in a wonderful location and was well equipped. The staff was freindly and helpful. It was quite warm while we were there, so air conditioning would have been nice. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (all adults). You could definitely put more people in the main room but we all wanted a little privacy and this was just right. We loved the patio and the views from both sides. The location is excellent! The pictures are exactly what you get. We used the washing machines in the unit and the 2nd floor as we had a lot of laundry to do and left feeling refreshed and ready to continue our travels. We spent 2 nights there and loved it. You could easily cook but we went out for meals. I had some contact with the host prior to arrival and they were very quick to respond.

We were traveling with our four kids ages 23-13. We all fit well in the apartment. The views were fabulous. It would have been nice to have had some chairs other than kitchen ones to sit and look out. It was a great location - would come back again. The fans were much appreciated!
