Close enough walk from the ferry. Nice size of rooms. However, could hear every noise. People above us walking around. Hot tub jets not working. The blinds on one of the bedrooms did not work. The entire place could use an update ama refresh. Felt dark and dreary.

This place was within walking distance to the main harbor area shops & dining. The 2 bedroom suite was like a small apartment with 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room & kitchen with a full size refrigerator. We were able to use the complimentary shuttle when we didn’t feel like making the walk. The hot tub was great as well after long days of exploring! We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very dirty ! Like dust everywhere, linens not clean, things like old panties and logs of dust behind the bed. Super limited cutlery. Paper thin walls so we could hear the neighbors constantly, specially the ones above us, almost felt like they will fall on us give the foot step noises. The mattress are very very old spring ones and gave all of us back aces. We did not sleep there properly even a single night. Rude receptionist lady who refused to make any reservation changes to accommodate the inconvenience we were facing. Never going back here again.

The unit we stayed in appeared to have the original fixtures and floor coverings. The carpet was so sticky and dirty that our feet were visibly dirty from walking around on it. It felt sticky to the touch, which is unsettling with two young kids who want to sit on the floor and play. The common amenities were nice, although we didn’t utilize them. Looks like they are trying to remodel in phases, but would be good to have a deep carpet cleaning in the meantime.

No parking anywhere. Old and outdated and smells like a year old dirty laundry. Disgusting place and overpriced. If you going to charge people because there are limited hotels, atleast invest in your hotel and renovate it. Very very disgusting.

This is a dated but cute kitschy place. My huge complaint is that the walls were paper thin and we were privy to some inappropriate noises coming from our neighbors and also nonstop snoring from same said neighbors that ruined our entire night's sleep. Not sure how to remedy this but it really affected our enjoyment of our stay. The front desk was really helpful--I left a water bottle that they collected and held for me at the front.

This is a nice option on San Juan Island. It's a few blocks out of downtown so the ferry horn isn't an issue. The decor is a bit dated but there was a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator in our room. There was also a gas fireplace but it didn't seem to work - perhaps it wasn't in season

Easy to find, about 4 blocks from waterfront, town and Washington car ferry. We walked a lot and since we had a car drove all around the island to sightsee. Our one bedroom suite was very large, had a small kitchen, hot water pot, table and chairs, large fridge. Bathroom shower was real nice. Comfortable bed and pillows. Wished there was a TV in the bedroom. Balcony had small table and two chairs.

Great location! Walking distance to restaurants and shops and east to get to other parts of the island from this spot. The suite we stayed in was dated but we didn’t mind. It was the perfect size for two remote workers. We snuck a peek at the room across the hall which was updated with vinyl plank flooring etc so it looks like they are slowly working on updating all of the rooms.

Our stay was fine with the exception of check in. We came early and asked if we could possibly check in early. The 2 front desk clerks made absolutely no effort to accommodate us until i went up to the desk just before regular check in time. They did nothing while i sat in their lobby for 1 1/2 hours.

We loved the accommodations of the Friday Harbor Suites. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. There was an electrical problem in the bathroom’s socket and it was fixed immediately. We loved that it had a Movie Theatre and a library section. We loved that the parking was so accessible. We walked to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely go back. The Medio Cafe had delicious variety of food and beverages. We will definitely go back.

Property was clean. Restaurant closed two days week. We got conflicting info about shuttle availability and almost missed out on prepaid whale watching. Had an item left at front desk but person working there did not know when asked. Left charger in room. Supposedly not turned in by housekeeping. Snippy attitude.

We had a fiasco of a trip getting there and Christina was so kind, understanding and helpful. Made me felt reassured that we would have a place to stay even when our trip got us on the island way later than planned! A huge THANK YOU to Christina!

The room was very comfortable for three people and the beds much more comfortable than most I’ve encountered. The manager suggested a day early departure due to the holiday weekend and ferry situation and ensured I was not charged the extra day. I don’t normally like Greek yogurt but theirs, with tons of fruit and granola, was delicious. All of the staff was great. Parking was a little tight with a full house but we managed. Overall, Friday Harbor is breathtakingly beautiful, loads of flowers, clean and friendly.

Our rental (Suite w 2 queen beds) was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful and accommodating with all of our needs. Our rental (Suite w 2 queen beds) was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful and accommodating with all of our needs. Good location, just a quick walk from downtown Friday Harbor. Room was spacious and comfortable. Had AC, easy parking, and the cafe inside has good coffee. More reasonably priced than some of the places in town. We didn't end up using the extra amenities so this review doesn't include those.

Easy to find, about 4 blocks from waterfront, town and Washington car ferry. We walked a lot and since we had a car drove all around the island to sightsee. Our one bedroom suite was very large, had a small kitchen, hot water pot, table and chairs, large fridge. Bathroom shower was real nice. Comfortable bed and pillows. Wished there was a TV in the bedroom. Balcony had small table and two chairs.

Really liked that they had suites which made it convenient for our family. Property is about 13 minute walk uphill from the ferry, so call ahead and they can arrange a shuttle. It's a bit of a walk from the shops and restaurants but not too bad.

Really good place to stay when in Friday Harbor. Easy walk to dining. Some aircraft sounds but was not a problem in the room itself. Nice and very helpful staff.

Very clean older property. It was nicely maintained and had a ton of space for the three of us. It was like we had out own apartment. Very walkable to shops and restaurants.

The hotel was reasonably quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, I would expect a continental breakfast to be included in the price of a hotel this expensive. (It was not.) The shuttle service stopped operating at 4:00 pm on Saturday.

Great place for a stay on the island! An easy walk from the Harbor- just the perfect distance to be close to it all. Breakfast was outstanding, and it was a nice quiet balcony to enjoy.

We spent two days over a weekend at Friday Harbor Suites. The suite was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches each morning from the café. We wouldn't hesitate to book this accommodation again for our next visit on San Juan Island.

Room was noisy could hear people talking and walking above us and in the hall. Restaurant was closed due to another group reserving it, so no coffee, just instant in the room. Staff was nice.

Good location. Clean and friendly. Hotel has good value. They have a movie room. But no movies or schedule of the movies if there are any. Cafe attached to hotel is overpriced. Weird hours. And not exactly flavorful food.

The hotel was tired and old and the entire suite was painted a depressing grey. The cabinets are old and chipped, in dire need of replacement. The sofa was impossible to get comfortable on, belongs in a waiting room perhaps. The biggest offense however is the creepy layout of the hallway, which looks like a wall of mirrors, however it is not! It is quiet at night mostly due to the demographic of the residents however the entire hotel desperately needs a splash of color, cushions, rug's.... anything to brighten the decor. Actually couldn't wait to check out..

I was there for 4 nights, 2 of which had no TV. Had to move once due to issues with my room. Second room had no doors on closet, so I got to look at a rollaway bed and 2 fans. Not even one drawer to put clothes in. House keeping was sub par. was given a latte from their café to compensate. Very poorly managed hotel. Would not recommend staying there. The hot tub was nice.

The toilet was very, very low to the floor. There was no chair in the bedroom to help with dressing and the bed was so high it was difficult to get into. That made it difficult for us seniors to use. The staff had been told we were disabled. A grab bar in the shower would have been welcome. On the good side, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location in Friday Harbor, WA was good and parking was ample.

Nice play to stay just outside of the main town area which makes it a quiet place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The convenience of having the cafe at the hotel was great. Especially, since most coffee shops do not open on Saturdays in Friday Harbor. I would definitely stay there again.
