This hotel is my go to because it’s kid friendly. .. well this trip I wasn’t impressed.. when I checked in I got hit with a $10 dollar a night parking fee ( parking has alway been free here). The front desk girls were super rude when I asked about the parking change they handed me a paper with all the new rules… then when I got into my room the smell of mold and mildew took your breath away, like the room hasn’t been used in years, so I went to express my concerns about that, they rudely have me a new room which still had mold , water damage on the ceiling, wall paper peeling off the walls, dead bugs in the picture frames on the wall.. I had noticed that house keeping hadn’t been in my room the whole trip I ran out of towels and toilet paper. Went to the front desk to be told that new rules housekeeping only comes every 4 days and when I told them I was out of towels and toilet paper they had told me they were out of stock as well.. I’m not sure what happened here but this stay wasn’t good for me.

The hotel needs a major upgrade. Carpet in the room was very dirty and smells musty. The bathroom had mold in the shower and the shower leaked onto the floor. Furniture was old and dirty and the AC unit leaked and smell bad when it was running. I cannot recommend staying at this Holiday Inn.

My room smells like wet and mold. The railings on the balcony do not feel secure and safe. The description says beach towels and beach chairs but there are none available to take out. The place where you can rent them does not allow them in front of the hotel beach area. The pools are super dirty and have not been cleaned. Light fixtures in the pool were floating not safe to swim in when I spoke to members including property management they had no words no one knew anything horrible service.

The bathroom had mold. The towel rack had awful water stains. The bathroom door had water stains. The floor wasn’t clean. The toilet tank top didn’t fit and was chipped. There was dry blood stains on one of the bed comforters. The wallpaper was peeling in all the rooms. The living room had whole in the wall. The soap dispenser completely fell off the wall, the first night. It appeared that someone tried to glue it to the wall unsuccessfully. In addition, we had a fly problem in our room. The was awful experience.

The room was in poor condition and clearly in need of renovation. The ceiling had visible spots and was shedding white particles onto the floor. It was noisy, especially since there was a kitchen above us, and even after being moved to another room, the same issues persisted. The overall cleanliness was disappointing—dirty elevators, unpainted ceilings, and a balcony door that didn’t lock properly. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience, and I will not be returning.

The room was constantly damp as the air conditioning was turned off upon our arrival. The room was dirty. A used tissue was left on the desk. The TV remote worked intermittently. The door to the balcony was difficult, at best, to open, and the glass doors were dirty, so there was not a good view of the ocean. I would not stay here again.

Our check in was quick, but the front desk staff was less than pleasant - there was zero customer service and it almost felt like we were a bother/interrupting them. All of the luggage cards are busted and broken. Our room was filthy- the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in multiple places, our phone did not work (we had to walk downstairs each time we needed something), the sliding glass door did not close unless we put all of our force in to it, we booked an oceanfront room and got a partial oceanfront view room, the hotel was dirty, the pools were dirty and appeared as though they had not been cleaned in a long time. The hotel has a small movie theater where they were playing movies every 2-3 hours and we opted for a 3p movie with our kids. When the movie prior to ours ended, we assumed (because it was scheduled and posted outside for guests to see) that the movie would be started by a staff member. Nope. I had to hunt down 2 employees to start the movie, to no avail. They couldn't figure out how to work the TV & remote. When brought to the attention of guest services, we were told we should have told someone in the Kid Center we were there for the movie (which again, was mind boggling to us considering there was a posted movie schedule). They told us that "sometimes they get busy in Kid Center so we need to request them to play the movie - BUT, there wasn't one kid in the Kid Center. We will not return as this was more of a frustrating visit than a relaxing visit.

There was mold on the curtains and balcony floor. There was so much gunk in the tract of the balcony door it was almost impossible to open. There was mold on the shower door tract and in the rubber molding. There was a mildew smell when we walked in and only subsided when we put the air conditioner on 70. Floor at edge of elevators and subsequent floors would give when you stepped on it. One big window in one elevator was pushed off it’s track. Shower leaked onto floor.
