I would not recommend the hotel for anyone who was traveling or stranded or coming to town for anything. The front desk staff was so rude. I had to get my card reprogrammed almost after every time I tried to use it and then they acted like I was a problem whenever I asked for help. The pool was open off and on even during an operational hours in the breakfast that was included with my day was absolutely awful. The breakfast potatoes were cold at Bear Cove. The eggs were watery. There was just not a lot about the stay that I can take good things about.

This looked like a great place to stay. I was unfortunately mistaken. It was less than par. Rude people at check-in don’t try calling to ask a question prior to check in they will just hang up on you. When you do reach them, they will say they were busy. That’s some good customer service. The “Free shuttle” was so busy they had to pull out the big shuttle that took them 20 mins. So I had to pay for a Lyft for $52. The reason I stayed here was the free shuttle. Was there 15 mins prior to departure, they still were going to make me late. I recommend staying somewhere else.

We found the Atrium to be a nice stay. It is an older hotel, but there have been obvious updates made, and looks as though more are coming as far as carpets and paint etc. It smelled really nice, never saw anything other than cleanliness. There were spots here and there where paint could be touched up or something minor like that, but overall there was nothing to make is feel as though it was run down or too old. The staff we encountered was always courteous and helpful. Breakfast was really good, and the coffee was strong and tasty. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. One sink struggled with draining but it was just a bit slow. The pool area was lovely but the kids found it way too cold to swim in so that was disappointing. We all agreed we would stay here again.

Every time we fly out of DFW we stay at the Atrium. It’s kind of become a tradition. They have a great little pool and restaurant. We always park there and their shuttle takes us to the airport and picks us up.
