The bungalow was right on the water. It was a beautiful setting. The bungalow was beautiful and the restaurant and bar onsite were great. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped for; the floors were dirty, sliding glass door was dirty, hair on the pillow cases. Since there are only 4 bungalows getting quick service to help with any issues doesn’t happen. They tell you to call the restaurant and ask for the manager but he doesn’t really know how to help/deal with the hotel side.

What a find! Stayed here for a weekend get-away and it did not disappoint. Completely cozy in a serene setting. Amazing shower! Walking distance to a great restaurant that’s also on the water. Would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Tranquility just minutes away from good eating and relaxation. The restaurant was yummy with friendly staff. Then to the cottage we go for a relaxed and peaceful time to rest. Decoys is a gem you will be glad you found.

My room was very nice how the wall where the AC unit it was discolored due to AC leaked I guess. It was a wash cloths on the floor underneath it. Also sink water pressure was too low. Other than that it was a fantastic.

Great spot tucked away on a beautiful marsh inlet, very quiet and private. The bed was so comfortable we had difficulty getting up in the mornings. The showers had great pressure and the towels were big and fluffy. Highly recommend for couples retreat or small groups to decompress. I think the only thing I needed was a dish towel for the coffee station but we did our best not to spill. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

the space was fantastic. Very spacious, very comfortable bed and recliner. Patio and patio view were amazing. The bathroom was built for romance, and made up for any short-comings. The short-comings: Forget GPS. You have to follow their directions via email. Which, we didn't know. There is no office. Their communication is very poor and mom-and-pop-ish, yet they are owned by Berkshire-Hathaway and multi-businesses. They really push the restaurants in their "conglomerate" which makes finding help with lodging very troublesome. They want you to communicate with the restaurant manager who has no clue about the lodging. So, we had no internet our entire stay bc the front office located at another location couldn't help, and the restaurant mngr had zero idea. That part was rough, and is why we didn't give them 5-stars. But, we'll stay again bc, for the price, it could not be beat for romance. I'll next door neighbors never left.

The most unique feature of the property was the bathroom ☺️ it was so calming and up to date. Also, the property exhibited a very homey and relaxing place to stay. The back view is just what a weekend getaway should include. The back porch facing the water was romantic!!! A nice place for conversation and enjoying time with your loved one.

We loved the cottage and the area it was very cozy..a nice get away. We had a hard time at first with getting the wifi to work on the tv but the manager came out and fixed it very quickly..the only con was the heat at night kept turning off and we had to constantly turn it back on

The bungalow was right on the water. It was a beautiful setting. The bungalow was beautiful and the restaurant and bar onsite were great. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped for; the floors were dirty, sliding glass door was dirty, hair on the pillow cases. Since there are only 4 bungalows getting quick service to help with any issues doesn’t happen. They tell you to call the restaurant and ask for the manager but he doesn’t really know how to help/deal with the hotel side.

What a find! Stayed here for a weekend get-away and it did not disappoint. Completely cozy in a serene setting. Amazing shower! Walking distance to a great restaurant that’s also on the water. Would not hesitate to stay here again!!

What a beautiful place! We enjoyed our overnight trip! Sparkling clean and super close to the restaurant. The pool was peaceful and just what we needed before bed!

Tranquility just minutes away from good eating and relaxation. The restaurant was yummy with friendly staff. Then to the cottage we go for a relaxed and peaceful time to rest. Decoys is a gem you will be glad you found.

We had a delightful time. Surprised my birthday-celebrating hubby with a night at one of these adorable cottages (#2). Situated directly on Bennett's Creek, the crying seagulls catapulted him back to memories of his childhood on the Chesapeake Bay. It was obvious someone had put a lot of love, time and thought into the highend duck-themed interior design. Beautiful. We enjoyed the pool, then went to dinner at Decoys Seafood Restaurant for some amazing oysters. The night's drink special was eight dollar martinis, which we were able to imbibe, since our cottage was a short walk away. Highly recommend. We'll be back!

Nice place, quiet. Good view. Excellent restaurant next door. Good for walking back slightly impaired. Will stay there again if going through the area.

Check in was at the Decoys Restaurant. See the hostess. The cottages were wonderful. Luxury custom bathrooms and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of seating in cottage, very good mattress and bedding, good streaming tv, fridge, coffee, water, etc. At first did not see the coffee but later found it in a wooden duck lol. It is a bargain to stay here considering the waterfront location and view. Comfortable porch sitting furniture. Walkability to Decoys Restaurant and waterfront Bar(seasonal). I will stay here again!

Parking was really restricted, Check in was not a good process. I was given the wrong Cottage and the code to the Door. I actually walked in on guests in the unit and it was so embarrassing! The bed was cozy and the large shower was a plus. The sinks had very little water pressure! The view was relaxing!

Very nice place with nice waterfront view. Check-in via restaurant a little odd but worked. Restaurant food was heavy on fried, and good.
