This property has gone downhill quickly. I used to stay here with the family for the amenities as a staycation. The exterior AND the interior of the hotel was disgusting. The parking lot was covered in trash. There were giant trash bags in the hall. The elevator floor was spattered with spilled drinks, to the point it made a standing puddle. The walls of the elevator were spattered with just general uncleaned detritus of public use. The breakfast here used to be amazing with lots of fresh fruits, choices of meats etc. The breakfast wasn't BAD, just par with a cheaper brand. The room however WAS clean and well kept. The entire 4th floor though had a musty smell, and as stated the hallways were not cleaned at all. But the mattress. This has to I've of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. And I do not stand alone; my partner said the same. SEVERAL guests in the elevator started the same. Overall, even though the staff was polite, I would have rather not have stayed there. Hopefully the IHG brand can get this facility back to it's standards.

The refrigerator didn't work, the a/c was loud. Sounded like a motorcycle. There was no maid service, nor was there a door tag to request it. I had to ask for additional towels and they handed them to me and didn't take the used ones that ended up piled in the corner. Also the only time they emptied the trash was when they brought me ice because the fridge didn't work and the guy saw it was full. Other than that we had to empty it ourselves. Overall just a terrible hotel.

The room was not clean. Housekeeping never came Thursday-Sunday that we were there. We had to ask for towels and sheets. The fold out couch bed literally had been pooped on the sheet was not changed and it was on the mattress as well. There was no soap or conditioner in the shower. No paper towels or towels in the kitchen. The floors and furniture were grimy. The pool was too cold to even use and much smaller than it looks in the picture. Breakfast was not good at all. The pool and free breakfast were what sold us on this hotel. Definitely not worth it. They also never locked the back doors nor shut the parking lot gates which I didn’t appreciate because this isn’t a good part of town. There were several homeless people all around. Overall it’s not worth the money you might save.

We were in Chattanooga for an overnight stay. No one was at the desk upon arrival. Had to wait while the phone rang about 25 times before someone came to the desk. Once someone was there, check in was quick. Parking is additional cost, which I will never understand with any hotels. The cleanliness is fair. There is a large amount of water due to use of the indoor pool. There was hair left in the bathtub from the previous guest. The refrigerator had an odd smell. I would suggest using baking soda boxes. The beds are firmer than I prefer, but not super uncomfortable. The pillows were a fantastic. There is Dove products available which was nice because I did not bring shampoo or conditioner. There was not a hair dryer in our room, it appeared to have been removed from the wall. The toilet handle was loose so you hand to kinda push in to flush the toilet. The water pressure wasn’t that great but the temperature was good. Large breakfast selection. Not bad for an overnight stay.

While the staff was nice, I must comment on the cleanliness, the strange ( I would assume resident homless man), the left over clothes in our bathroom when we checked into our room, and the rattling old AC unit, with the running toilet. Did the maids bother to vacuum hall ways and elevator areas, no, they stayed dirty the entire 5 days we were there. Even after a peewee football tournament was apparently in town. The room was outdated,and a little dirty but beds were clean. The toilet ran off and on all night as well as the AC unit rattling. Its the little things folks. Its the ol' attage you get what you pay for.

Neither elevator was operational. Guest were required to walk up to 5 flights of stairs to access their rooms. Breakfast items were largely out of stocks. Bed sheets had not been cleaned. My child found "some slimy stuff" in the bed. Furnishings in the room were damaged included carpet coming up. We left and stayed at a different hotel.
