Sketchy hotel …breakfast was poor, bed very uncomfortable, bathroom didn’t feel clean …. I think this hotel needs work. No elevator but stairs to go up then down another three steps …just ridiculous !

The property is trashy; I can't understand why the owner doesn't clean the property. The complimentary breakfast is lame!

AC/heat very noisy, not happy with interior setup having to climb lots of stairs… had I known wouldn’t have stayed

The staff at this hotel were nice and it was in a nice area. The front desk staff was always friendly. With that being said, I would not stay at this hotel again. It was somewhat old and run down. There was no elevator and only stairs to get to the second floor. We stayed there for four days and our room was not cleaned at all. We made our own beds (with no fresh sheets), took out our own trash and took our own dirty towels to the front desk clerk to get clean towels. Even the trash outside of the building was piling up in the trash cans. This hotel costed way more than what it was worth.

Disgusting, filthy and pungent moldy smell wreaked throughout our room. When we pulled back our bed cover, we saw used blood stained sheets and cigarette burn holes. Next morning, left site for the day to return at 9 pm to find our used sheets piled on bed, garbage still in basket, and dirty towels still on floor in bathroom- No Service! Still unsure of what the dark brown stains on shower walls were in bathroom. During the day it had rained, but did not expect the rain inside our room as evident from soggy wet soaked tiles with water dripping down onto our moldy carpet. Signs of more inside rainfall was predominant with orange buckets staged down the hallway. Breakfast should have posted a sign to eat at your own risk, as the daily “waffles” were from a frozen commercial brand, sitting in a cold warming container without heat, defrosting at room temperature. Plus, the same options for coffee, juice and cold cereal were offered for both days we were there. There is no elevator, so if you were on the second floor, you are obligated to carry your luggage up several awkward inside up/down staircases. Should you choose the outside staircase, note it is bug infested and neglected. The photos they post of their site, DO NOT REFLECT THE DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS!! Never will go or recommend anyone stay there unless you need to rent it by the hour. Horrible. Want a refund!

My sink didn't work properly. I reported it to the front desk. He said he would put it on the list, but nothing was done to fix it and it was disgusting. There is no elevator and no one mentioned this before I booked. The room was dingey and I was afraid to touch anything. Hose keeping showed up at 5:10 pm, despite my having requested that the refresh my room before I left for the day. This place Is.nasty and I will never stay there again!

Pet friendly but added charges for pet when you check in which is not indicated during reservation. Members of staff stand over/observing guest during breakfest. Felt very uncomfortable with the supervision. Appeared that they were inventoring what we were eating. Asked chambermaid not to make room just give us towels. She still entered the room to clean etc even though the do not distrubed sign up and telling her not to make up the room

The website made the property look pristine. It’s far from it. The room is okay. But it appears many people are living here at the hotel. Loud music and people talking is all we are hearing. Smoke smell in the room when it is non-smoking.

This hotel was old,outdated and filthy!!! Cigarette burns on the bed sheets and stains. The refrigerator was filthy!! I took pictures to post. The front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful.

Total fail. They guy who checked us in for a weekend in July 2024 was nice but it was all downhill after that. Room was not cleaned for our arrival. Hairs and junk left in bath trash, gross skid marks *on the toilet seat*, bed was "made" but there were hairs and !!nasty stains!! in the sheets i.e. they went to the trouble of making the bed but too lazy to change the sheets. (Fortunately the guy at the desk had replacements to give us). Odor in common areas like a menthol cigarette. Just generally a run-down motel that they've applied some attractive touches to look good in photos so that you'll be tricked into booking. They didn't even bother turning on the lighted sign, making it hard to find even though it is literally just off the freeway. At least the aircon and wifi were ok. As a result of this stay, my wife will never let me book a Super 8 ever again. The management will reply to this review saying "oh we're sorry and bla bla we'll do better" but don't believe it, this is their business model to penny pinch and cut corners but have nice pictures in the website to trick you into booking. I wish I'd spent a little more and gone someplace else.

I booked this room through Expedia and firstly must say that my expectations in paying a room of $322 was a decision made because we had an ill relative to visit in Providence and needed desperately a place to sleep in. In viewing rooms advertised in Expedia thought it was a decent nice place per the pictures. However after I arrived and entered that room my heart sank. It was a damp, moldy scented room with clammy sheets, busted pillow, moldy bathroom, gnats in sink, mold around bath and busted wall behind tub. A towel holder with spackle over the paint. None of us slept due to the noise and the smell in that room. Horrible and when I checked out was informed by the attendant that the rooms were priced by hotel for Saturday night at $160 yet I was charged $322 plus tax a total of $363.92 to sleep in this room. Are you kidding me. This is the price one pays at the Hilton, Raddison and other high end hotels. I at least expected that if I was being charged that price that the place was going to be exactly how pictured and based on details a nice, clean decent room and breakfast, The breakfast was cheerios, fruit loops. bagels, bread, some yogurt, mandarin , in a cafeteria with a ceiling with mold and unclean bathroom. The worst experience for me. Will never stay here and or book through Expedia. Will go direct next time and do more digging around before settling. I will be complaining directly to Expedia.

The room was dirty. Lots of thick dust around and under the beds, tables and trash behind the beds. They really need to hire someone who will take attention to details.

Dirtiest place i have ever stayed!!! Left with multiple bedbug bites, both myself and child… called to complain no one was available to speak with.. was told i would receive a call on monday from management re: a refund but never did! Totally disgusting!!

Sink in the room has many little bugs. I used water to wash them down. But next day bugs were all around edge of the sink again. Beddings were dirty, felt like used. Body wash bottle was empty in the shower. The room was noisy at night with sounds of refrigerator running and other noise from neighbors. The staff was nice. She let me have water as courtesy, the sign said $2 a bottle.

i’ve stayed in some grimy motels before but this one takes the cake. cigarette holes in my bed sheets (in a non smoking room), trash from the previous people in the bins and on the floor, hair shavings around the sink, red and black stains on blankets, got bit twice. hated it lol

We checked out almost as soon as we checked in. This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. The hostess tried putting us in 4 different room. There was cat urine, mold, dirt, unchanged beds, fluids leaking from a refrigerator, stains. I will say KK did her best to try to help accommodate and ended up refunding our money and helped search out a room at another hotel. If you need to stay in West Greenwich, stay at the Best Western. Very clean and accommodating considering our situation. After seeing the area, there are also many nice hotels in Coventry which is just 8 minutes away fro this Super 8.

We walked in and we’re immediately hit with a terrible smell. So bad we had to open the door and spray Lysol. Then we noticed the dried boogers on the walls and the dingy bathroom with a wet floor. Eventually someone took off their shoes and we realized the floor was wet. In the entire room. We eventually realized that this was due to the sink leaking. We did not find any bugs though, which was the only comfort. When I complained to the front, the person seemed unconcerned and said “ok, I’ll make note, thanks”. We talked to others who said their rooms were not gross at all, so it’s disappointing that we were not able to get any type of refund or be moved.

Deadbolt was broken, electrical outlet hanging on wall unsecured, when we went down for our free breakfast not much food left.

Neal, the front desk manager the night my girlfriend and I stayed was excellent with his recommendation of places to eat. The room, room 122, had an issue : The floor of the tub is soft, and "gives" easily. My GF wasn't expecting that "give", and lost her balance and fell in the shower! Fortunately, nothing was broken and no major injury, she'll just be sore for a couple days. We reported this incident to Neal, who wasn't very sympathetic nor caring about this. There also seem to be people who are permanently residing at the hotel.

Three minor problems - small liquor bottle on floor, the window was open and there was a puddle on the floor by the coffee. Shower was hot and stream strong. TV showed program choices but remote didn't access any of them. Room with single king size bed listed as sleeps three - for threesomes, perhaps :)

Good place to crash for the night.

The room door didn’t close completely. There was an odd musty smell even after running the air conditioner for several hours. The bed was very broken down on one side and the bottom and made a horrible squeak just turning over. The eggs at breakfast were awful. However, the staff was friendly!

I had a great stay here! The front desk was super kind and welcoming. The room was clean upon arrival and in a very convenient location. I also like that they have protective covers on the mattresses as a preventative measure against bed bugs. Definitely would stay again!

The staff was all wonderfully helpful. Jaimeson Jacobs stands out as being especially so. He told me where I could find a nearby church where I could attend Mass.

I was there for 6 nights and not once did they come and clean the room , the garbage was overflowing , and we ran out of toilet paper , no clean towels daily , when I went to the front office to find out why , they said they dont clean or do anything unless requested... was never told this and not happy

My sisters and I stayed at this property for just one night and in the morning while me and my sisters were getting ready one of the “housekeepers” barged into our room without knocking and had the door wide open while we were still getting dressed asking us what time we were checking out and it was only 8:55 in the morning. Checkout was at 11:00 am. The “housekeeper” didn’t have any cleaning supplies or a uniform to indicate he worked for the hotel. This was an invasion of privacy and a disruption of peace. Me and my sisters felt violated. When we went to the front desk to complain the front desk worker was about to issue us a refund for the disorderly conduct of the employee but the owner said not to. I WANT A REFUND FOR MY STAY FOR MY SISTERS AND MY RIGHTS BEING VIOLATED ! ! Contact me as soon as possible 7745816646

The location was good for us for exploring the beaches of Southern Rhode Island. Problem was we stayed 2 nights and (1) didn't have enough towels and the night clerk couldn't get more for next night either. (2) Once we arrived on Saturday, room was never cleaned, beds remade, or trash emptied. Supposedly they had a labor shortage. (3) breakfast food (eggs, etc minimal. (4) Shower area was primitive & rundown. Actually toilet was missing a floor-bolt nut, & kept rocking back & forth. Scary! but eventually the seals will give out. Soap dispensers worked poorly. Worse thing was no towels- so no ability to shower after days at the beach.

Recognizing that I chose a very basic, economic hotel, I didn't realize that the room would not be made up each day. I was given a room where the previous guest had used incense, and I hope an extra charge was levied against him/her, as the smell permeated the room throughout my stay. I was forewarned about the incense, and the room was on the first floor where I could park my car right outside.

I stayed due to a exhibit in providence and I didnt want to stay right down town. This hotel is about 20 mins from Providence. Its beautiful there. Its right off a main road however you go up a huge hill and suprise your in the middle of the woods. Great area for peace and also if you have pets. The staff was extremely friendly. I highly recommended this place.

It was a good motel.

The room was clean, the reseptionist was very accommodating. Things like poor water flow in the shower, the tv remote control failed to work and the continental breakfast was by far the worst i have ever had, and to top it off. They ran out of egg ???? What ever on day 2 of our stay. I would not stay there again.

Whike the property is clean, and the staff is great, the duvets and shèets are old and have holes in them. Found ants in my room.. breakfast was awful, not good choices at all.

Super cold air conditioner! Extremely peaceful and quiet! Staff is AMAZING! Also the breakfast isn't just coffee and a donut. It's a full breakfast, eggs, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc... I highly recommend this hotel!

Pictures in listing are not reflective of our room. The room is very dark, mainly because of the paint and the décor. There is a lot of dark colors including an almost mahogany colored bathroom. The bathroom door was clearly replaced and was a misfit. There was a clear gap the entire height of the door and the door jam. The bathroom toilet holder was broken, with the one post missing. The toilet paper roll was standing alone on the side of the tub. The internet promised was a total failure. The link connected and then consistently dropped due to lost signal and interruptions. This was addressed the next AM by resetting their system, which improved the connection a bit but did not resolve the issues. They continued. The "free breakfast" included was I guess technically met, but it was very disappointing and very short on selection/variety. They have 2 cereal options in turn handle dispensers. They have 3 bread options: english muffin, day old bagels and white bread, with toaster provided. A 2 section warmer was on the counter with only one side carrying product, some form of manufactured egg rounds. Yogurt was also available with whole apples. The other side of the warmer was always empty. MISSING were two very important items that I have not seen missing at any other "breakfast" provided hotel. There was no waffle/pancake making unit and there was no meat item at all in the warmer. Coffee and juice machine were provided. The desk person was nice and receptive, but said N/A.

Check in easy, breakfast was good

Missing amenities included no mirror outside the ONE located in bathroom making it difficult for multiple persons to dress for the day. Sink drain stopper was broken requiring manual operation. Floor felt like it was placed over the top of carpet. Offered breakfast was continental at best with no meat/protein and high on carbs.
