Sleep Inn & Suites Ronks - Lancaster Area

Room and pool did not feel very clean, but it wasn’t gross. Everything felt a bit run down. That said, staff was wonderful. Everything was convenient, and breakfast was nice.

Good breakfast with a few different options, clean building and room, and a nice indoor pool and workout area

This was a lovely property. Front desk staff all were very nice and helpfull. Only 2 issues. Pool water was not as clear as it should have been. No sanitizer in any of the dispensers, told them about it, but don't think it was resolved. The walls are very thin so if you need a very quiet environment, this was not the place. We could hear people talking.

Clean room, swimming pool needs to be renovated.

We liked our stay. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The TV was very nice. I don’t understand why there were no towel bars in the bathroom. We would have liked that. The pool was enjoyable. The person at the desk was very pleasant, but English was not his first language, and I had a hard time understanding him when he spoke. The breakfast was okay, but far from great. The eggs didn’t seem real to my wife (I didn’t have them). I had the waffles and coffee - both were good. Overall, we would probably stay there again, if we are back in the area.

Very nice staff and it was a very quiet motel. It had an exercise room and a pool.

The pool was terrible . They had no filter on cloudy and a film on top with bug and other thing other wise a nice clean stay

The room and hallway had a over whelming odor of stale stagnant air. We were on the first floor and were able to open a window in the room it helped a little. I went to use the pool again strong odor of stale air, absolutely no ventilation.I did not chance using the pool. The bathroom was not the cleanest the were smudge marks on the inside of the door. The paint on the walls was chipped, and there was a small hole in the wall above the light switch.The hair dryer was held together with scotch tap. Luckily we had our own.The stopper in the tube did not work. We checked the room for bugs thankfully there were no signs of any. I tired to call the front desk with the in room phone it did not work. I then called on my cell to report it, I was told they would leave a note for the day people about the issue.The only reason we stay was because we had a long ride to get there and were only staying one day and leaving early in the morning. The next day when leaving ,we opened the door to be hit with the smell off over cooked waffles and maple syrup. When we walked to the lobby to check out we found the source of the smell. The complimentary breakfast was being served in a small little alcove to the left of the lobby. This hotel was a complete disappointment. The morning desk clerk went out of his way to help us with a issue we had with booking. I am going to call Expedia to see if I can get a full refund. Would not ever stay here again.

Clean but the pump on the pool was not working look like oil spots floating on top

Place was dirty. Had to be moved 3 times. Pool was not clean and had knats. Rooms smelled musty and sheets/comforters were stained. What a disappointment.

Most of the staff can barely speak English. Towels were paper thin. Mold and dust in AC filters. Water damage on walls in bathroom. No towel rods in bathroom. Coffee pot and accessories in bathroom. White socks were black on the bottom from walking around room. Gazebo outdoors have green fungus on benches. Broken benches at entrance to hotel. Would not recommend this to my worst enemy. Left hotel sick because of mold in the room.

The bedsheet has stained and kind of smells same with the pillows. Stained and smelly

Upon arrival, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth. However, when I entered my room, I immediately noticed a strong moldy smell. After inspecting the room, I saw visible mold above the window and the air felt damp and moist. The bedsheets also appeared dirty, but when I requested new sheets, the staff did respond and changed them promptly. Since I was traveling with my family, I checked their rooms as well, only to find that they were in a similar condition. It was disappointing to see that this was not just an issue with one room, but a general problem throughout. Thankfully, we were only staying for one night, and there was plenty to do in the area, so we spent most of our time out of the rooms. While the location is great, the cleanliness and air quality in the rooms definitely need improvement.

I was happy that i was able to change my room to the second floor. first floor room had a machine that absorbs humidity and you have to dump the water when its full. the room needs a new rug. There was black mold in shower. my upstairs room was great!

Stay was ok. I didn't have super-hifh expectations because I know it's an older building and not a luxury hotel. Staff was nice and welcoming, breakfast was good, room was large and comfortable but I was very disappointed in the fact that the bedding was filthy. Literally looked like someone pissed the bed and they put the stained blankets back on the beds Unfortunately, I didn't get good quality pictures

Room was extremely musty. The air conditioner did little to remove the odor. No ventilation in the bathroom. The worst part was NO WI FI. None Of their unsecured networks connected to the internet. And the front desk person offered on solution. Never again!!!!

The room was quite comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located. However it is starting to show its age as the bed edging was torn, one of the pictures was missing, and the room could use a fresh coat of paint.

The rooms are slightly dated. Vacuuming could have been done better, Upon check in there where crumbs/debris on the floor in the room. Everything else was clean. Bed and bathroom areas where clean. Service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Paper thin walls, heard loud noises all night.

The internet really was terrible.

Traffic was frequently heavy. Getting in and out of the property was often hard. There was an alarm that went off in an adjoining property that went on for hours. Very annoying. The WiFi was so bad I couldn’t read my email. But I did love the property and might stay there in the future.

Our room was on the 2nd floor as soon as you got off the elevator. Once the TV was off for the night you could hear the noise from the elevator all night long. The room was clean and the free breakfast in the morning had a good variety. Other than the elevator noise the hotel was a nice stay.

They are working on this property to get it updated. Rooms are a nice size. Hallways were hot and the air conditioning in room needs updating. Beds were comfortable.

To be fair, things were generally okay, but there was one big issue that overshadows the rest. Room was on the first floor and window had been forced open at some point and not repaired. Latches were broken and you could not lock the window. Spoke to night attendant. Said hotel was full and could not get another room. Did not have a bar or rod to put into the track to block it from opening. I found a folding stool in the closet and wedged it into the window track to make it safe for the night. Not staying there again.

The staff (including the general manager) were hostile, disrespectful and unfriendly. I had no WiFi at the hotel and informed the staff about this several times, but they did not believe it was the hotel’s responsibility to provide the customer with WiFi access although it is on the list of services/items provided by the hotel. The shower fixture made intermittent loud noises while being used and the pool water needed to be cleaned. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I ended up ending my hotel stay early and had no problems at the new hotel.

This property is convenient to the Lancaster area. The outside looks ok, but the inside needs updating. If updating the property is not going to happen, at least get better mattresses. It felt like our backs were going to snap in two after sleeping on the mattress. The pillows were awesome and normal size. The check in clerk was rude. The guy that checked us out was super nice.

Yes, we stayed overnight and had a great experience staying here. Rich was very friendly as well as other staff I spoke to. Will definitely return.

The Check-in staff was very, very helpful! So polite and friendly. Great customer service skills, excellent customer experience.

First night was good. 2nd night was terrible. The guests above us and next to us were extremely noisy. The guests were running, yelling and banging from 10:30 to 130am. Went to the front desk 4 different times with no help. Never again

I was on the first floor but could hearing noise and walking on the room above me . The woman at check in wss not that friendly or personable like Rob who was the mnager. She also swiped my credit card twice upon check in .

The staff was the first thing we noticed. personable, professional. The dog Lucy was a nice greeting to have. The rooms were clean as was the hallways and lobby. The area was convenient for dining and shopping, ease of getting around. The breakfast food was okay. But they had good service in keeping things stocked for the patrons.

Clean place to stay. Conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and Sight & Sound. Staff was courteous, and the room was cleaned and restocked with linens while we were away. Would 100% stay here again!

Property was clean, daily room service, great for a couple night's stay. Quiet but close to whatever you want to do.

The location of this property is very good. Close place to eat and easy access to other areas. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

property was well located near most of the lancaster attractions. my only complain is that I booked 3 rooms and each party was to pay for their own room but the hotel charged me for all three. They did help with mailing clothing left in room which was a great help

The front desk was very friendly. The room was very clean .However when I turned the heater on ,the room never got warm even though the screen shown 74 degrees. Only cold air blew out . Stayed two days no one came to room to fix unit . My biggest complaint was with breakfast . It was posted that breakfast was served from 7 am to 10am . But when me and my son got there at 9am , almost everything was gone except a couple of bagels and bread ( all the hot items in the pans , eggs ,etc . Was gone ). There was no staff refilling empty pans . The milk container was not on ice and was warm . The pancake mix was bubbly like it had been setting out for some time . When I went to the desk to complain the person at the front desk said that staff had called off and he was trying to do what he could with trying to take care of both areas.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the price. Rooms were clean, very friendly and only a few choices for breakfast but everything tasted very good.

The room was nice. The rest of the building uninspiring. The breakfast offerings are poor: go somewhere else for breakfast.

The overall hotel was a good value, but the breakfast buffet was poor. There was something spoiled with the waffle batter, and there were very few other selections to choose from.

Very friendly staff. Clean room comfortable pillows and beds. Full all you can eat breakfast cooked to perfection with friendly wait staff. Pool. Sleep inn is one of those pretty basic hotels but this one was far better than any of the others I had been to. Everything was clean from the lobby to the rooms, all staff I encountered were friendly and courteous like the old school great customer service that seems non existent today. The smiles, warm welcome, going out of their way checking up and asking if we need anything or can they make fresh sausage for us during breakfast while we were eating the already fresh food they had provided. Waffle maker, yogurt, fresh juice coffee tea milk bagels, eggs, cereal, you name it! I usually don't review but this place really went out of their way to serve us. Hotel was booked and we were there with other family in different rooms and they still put our rooms next to each other ( we didn't even ask) vending and drink machines stocked full, ice machine clean, fridge and microwave in our rooms as well as a safe. toiletries and even razors, shaving cream, tooth brushes and more provided. Pool stayed open late which we used and was real close to our rooms. Also has a gym and beautiful views of the countryside outside the windows. Like wow. I was very impressed. The hotel is on the small side too so that was really nice having everything so close to our rooms and not having to lug our stuff up and down elevators and walk a far distance.

The property was nice and it is in need of updating but was great for the price. Pool was open and clean. Breakfast was good! Even had waffles, eggs (pretty tasty) and sausage links (best hotel sausages I’ve ever had!) on top of cereal, breads and yogurt. They need to do better with the coffee. No matter what you got, it was legit water. I can deal with hotel coffee usually, but that was just not good. The front desk and staff were very nice and professional. Beds were actually comfortable (not too soft/not too hard) and our bathroom was of very good size. Room have a fridge and microwave as well!
