I rented this place for my parents to stay in Bloomington. It is about 15 min from town and is absolutely amazing!! It is tucked in the woods - such a peaceful, beautiful setting. The place itself had everything we needed and was clean, nicely decorated, cozy but spacious!! Bobbie was a great host and very helpful. We will definitely be back! A quick note that the directions on my app took me to the wrong road/ridge so make sure it doesn’t do the same for u!!

This space was delightful—everything we needed, clean, comfortable, charming. Hosts were very communicative and have thought of everything a visitor would need. Setting is serene bit also a short drive to all shops, restaurants and hiking spots.

This property is fantastic if you are looking for the quiet get-away with quick access to both area hiking and the city of Bloomington Indiana. The property is very clean and the interior is quite enjoyable. The kitchen and bathroom are very functional. The property does not have a range and oven but you will quickly find that is not a problem. The microwave oven more than compensates. Lots of coffee choices and various other small appliances. The weather was unusually warm while I was there but the canopy of trees on the property kept it quite pleasant. I certainly plan to return. For me I would give the property six stars out of five.

This is in an amazing location- surrounded by woods and very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the chipmunks, squirrels, butterflies, hummingbirds and other birds. I’m sure we would The studio was immaculate and well equipped, the owner is friendly and helpful. This is definitely the place to stay if you are looking for something remote, peaceful, relaxing, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I needed a place to stay for my daughter’s Mom’s weekend at IU that was close to campus. I really don’t enjoy cramped overpriced hotel rooms so I decided to try some different! I’m so thankful I did! This property was so cute! My daughter and I referred to it as the cottage in the woods. It was very clean and cozy! We would definitely stay here again!

This was a wonderful location to stay for our vacation. The stay is just moments from the main road and yet there is no traffic noise in any way. Just the sounds of the woods. As we were tired upon arrival it came to our suprise that the bed we layed in sucked us in like an amazing cloud. Instantly we slept the night away and awoke almost wanting to not leave. Highly recoomend.

This place was so quaint and peaceful! The inside is super cozy and absolutely love the window to look out into the woods in the dining room. Bed is beyond comfortable and the fireplace is the perfect addition! It was the perfect place for a mom’s getaway. The homemade cookies and organic bug spray were a nice treat to us. The location was perfect along with this. All I can say if this is going on our save list for future girls trips in the future!

Perfect cozy cottage. So many extras, which I was grateful for because I had forgotten a couple toiletries. We sat and played scrabble for hours admiring the view. Price and location were ideal. Bobby answered any questions we had very quickly while we were there.

Bobby’s place was even more beautiful than expected. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while visiting IU. Such a tranquil relaxing place to come back to after busy days. The home was fully stocked and very cozy. Would highly recommend.

Very private and cozy. The owner gave us complete privacy and thought of all the little touches that made our stay even more special! From the locally made sweets, to the robes and the turntable with albums. Everything was just perfect for our stay.

The property was as described and back a long driveway into the woods. The owner was helpful in making sure we got settled even though we arrived a little late and after dark. He had many amenities as well as pastries from a local bakery. Grateful for the place to stay over graduation.

We had a wonderful two night stay at this beautiful spot. Bobby is a great host and communicator and the place is outfitted with wonderful art and treasures making it so comfortable and cozy. Temps were in the negative digits, but it was so warm inside! Thank you!

The long driveway was amazing and we really felt like we were far away, but town was really close by. It was a great time and Bobby had even left some treats from a local bakery, which was so kind. We definitely want to visit again!

This is by far the best place to stay if you like nature but not camping. It is quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. Close to downtown Bloomington, yet far enough away that makes you feel like you are in a hidden retreat (10 minutes away). 20-30 minutes from downtown Nashville, Indiana. Many wineries to visit, state parks, coffe shops, etc. Best host!! Beautiful place inside and out. Seriously cannot say enough about this place and the host. O n the bed!!! Omg the best memory foam topper that makes you feel comfy and comfortable. Cannot wait to visit again!!!

This was just the perfect little getaway for us. The property was easy to find and secluded while only minutes from the city. We really loved playing games and using the record player instead of watching TV. Great experience and would definitely return in the future!

The property was as described and back a long driveway into the woods. The owner was helpful in making sure we got settled even though we arrived a little late and after dark. He had many amenities as well as pastries from a local bakery. Grateful for the place to stay over graduation.

We loved this cozy and quirky place! Everything we needed was available and even some nice surprises (cupcakes from a local bakery and specialty coffee provided). We loved the ability to see wild life outside the large window while drinking our morning coffee. This home is near Bloomington, Columbus and Nashville for entertainment.

This property is fantastic if you are looking for the quiet get-away with quick access to both area hiking and the city of Bloomington Indiana. The property is very clean and the interior is quite enjoyable. The kitchen and bathroom are very functional. The property does not have a range and oven but you will quickly find that is not a problem. The microwave oven more than compensates. Lots of coffee choices and various other small appliances. The weather was unusually warm while I was there but the canopy of trees on the property kept it quite pleasant. I certainly plan to return. For me I would give the property six stars out of five.

The long driveway was amazing and we really felt like we were far away, but town was really close by. It was a great time and Bobby had even left some treats from a local bakery, which was so kind. We definitely want to visit again!

Had an amazing time, the place looks amazing and the host definitely thinks of the guests with leaving sweets and how everything is setup. I would definitely go back sometime it's perfectly in the middle of all the places to go and perfect place to go back to after to relax.

Very private and cozy. The owner gave us complete privacy and thought of all the little touches that made our stay even more special! From the locally made sweets, to the robes and the turntable with albums. Everything was just perfect for our stay.

Bobby’s place was truly a gem in Bloomington Indiana and we will definitely be back. It was so inviting and peaceful and we loved seeing the nature which included squirrels, chipmunks , birds, deer and even a turtle. we loved sitting at the table enjoying a cup of tea/coffee and listening to some classics on the record player. There is no television but for us that wasn’t a deal breaker. just relaxing and enjoying the nature was enough for us it also gives you more quality time with your significant other which I really enjoyed. We heard that there’s a fox family and a coyote family which we didn’t get to see sadly but we will be back so I’m hoping that we will get to see them next time if you plan to stay there, you will not be disappointed. It was also nice walking around the shops in Nashville and getting ice cream at the jiffy Treet ice cream shop.

We loved staying here for our mother/daughter girls trip! Very clean, and just the right size. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast every morning sitting at the picture window and watching the wildlife.

Quaint one bed property. Loved giant window to watch wildlife outside. Bath was perfect shower. Loved it. So quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed all extras we found in our stay. Will recommend this to everyone. Love to return again!!

The location is perfect for a romantic getaway for a couple and closed to all that Bloomington has to offer as well as proximity to Lake Monroe. It's cozy and beautifully appointed and it is obvious the host puts thought an care into both the decor and the guest experience.
