This was a comfortable quiet hotel. The staff was very nice. It suited all of our needs. We missed the breakfast buffet but the staff was accommodating and we were able to get toast, waffles and coffee . The hot tub jets were not working but everything else was great.

The hot tub was cold, maybe 96 degrees. The floor around both pools looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few weeks. There were dead spiders and bugs right were you would walk around the hot tub. I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times in the past year and have noticed that the beds on the second floor need to be replaced. They are all smashed down and hard, very uncomfortable. I like this hotel, it is in a good location for the work I come to Helena to do and the price is pretty good. There are just few things that need some attention.

Great location, Friendly Staff, but a very dirty pool. Pool was unusable do to the condition of it. There was garbage and debris along with what appeared to be worms of some sort in the pool. Paint was chipping around pool and hot tub.

The gym was decent but a bit small and there were some weights missing. Pool and hot tub were decent. I'd stay there again, it just needed some love here and there.

Pool was broken and closed, room was dirty not even vaccumed, elevator was broken and first morning of the stay waffle maker was down. Definitely not worth what I paid. Also a unexpected $40 fee at time of getting keys

The positives: The lady that checked us in was very kind and friendly. The hotel was conveniently located in a safe area of town. Breakfast was good with lots of options. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. I liked that the pool was no deeper than 5 feet. Shellie’s is a really good restaurant and right across the parking lot, and it’s open 24 hours. The negatives: the hot tub was quite dirty and the jets didn’t work, which was very disappointing. The pool area had a very strong chemical smell and was not well attended (we had to go looking for towels as there were no clean ones and the bathroom had no toilet paper for two days in a row). Our room was missed for housekeeping. There was a partial wall behind the door to our room. When we entered, we swung the door wide to make room for the luggage cart and it bounced off the hidden wall, hitting me in the elbow and splitting it open. In summary, the people were lovely, but I think they might be short-staffed for their cleaning staff.

I like this hotel for its location and its cleanliness, the staff are friendly, and the B/fast had some good options, the pool was clean and so was the hot tub, the Gym is clean and has a good space with decent equipment for a full body workout......just a point of correction not complaining, as we stayed for 4 Nights in room # 330 Non smoking floor but the floor was smelling of weed, however I spoke to the front desk and a kind man took care of the smell...upon entering our room the beds were not made the sheets on one side of the queen bed was stained and there was KFC chicken in the mini fridge from the previous guest ......if you need Housekeeping to do your room please contact the front desk, don't assume your room will be done .......however its a fine hotel and I will go back again someday soon

The first room they put me in was so nasty smelling I immediately went back to the front desk to see if a room change was possible. The front desk person came up with me to check it out and agreed it was headache-inducing. The second room was two floors away and only slightly better. I don’t know if it was a combination of stinky cleaning products and bad ventilation (chlorine from the pool) or mustiness or all three but it was not solved with a can of febreze. Breakfast was on paper plates with plastic forks and knives and the carpets in the rooms were so nasty I didn’t want to take my shoes off. Definitely not the experience I would have expected given the price.

The heating system or room thermostat were awful...it never got below 77 degrees (was 80 degrees when we got in the room and "cool" setting with high fan did very little change it). Had to sleep with the window open in December and then listen to garbage trucks outside at 4 am. And the shower water never got above lukewarm. I figured that since Marriott took over this property it would be in better shape. I was wrong.

Couldn't check in as there wasn't an attendant(5pm) room was not vacuumed, front desk had to do it. Shower valves were backwards, someone is going to get scalded phone ripped from the wall, can't call front desk nor 911 if needed. Emailed manager who apologized and said they'd refund some of our stay, which we were good with, yet, they won't refund what they said. This was a suite.....

Room was nice & beds were comfortable. Those were the most important things. However, upon check-in/check-out both staff members were not friendly at all. The evening clerk was extremely unkempt. Gave zero instructions. Pool was cold. Hot tub was Luke warm & over chlorinated with the jets/timer being stuck on. We have plans of staying here agin in October with a different group & I’ve already said we need to change hotels. It was dirty pretty much everywhere you looked. The couple checking in before me had ended up finally getting a good enough room after the 3rd try. 1st was too hot & heater stuck on, 2nd wasn’t cleaned & the door jamb was broken. This hotel needs help.

Gave zero instructions. Pool was cold. Hot tub was Luke warm & over chlorinated with the jets/timer being stuck on. We have plans of staying here agin in October with a different group & I’ve already said we need to change hotels. It was dirty pretty much everywhere you looked. The couple checking in before me had ended up finally getting a good enough room after the 3rd try. 1st was too hot & heater stuck on, 2nd wasn’t cleaned & the door jamb was broken. This hotel needs help.

The hot tub was cold, maybe 96 degrees. The floor around both pools looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few weeks. There were dead spiders and bugs right were you would walk around the hot tub. I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times in the past year and have noticed that the beds on the second floor need to be replaced. They are all smashed down and hard, very uncomfortable. I like this hotel, it is in a good location for the work I come to Helena to do and the price is pretty good. There are just few things that need some attention.

Great location, Friendly Staff, but a very dirty pool. Pool was unusable do to the condition of it. There was garbage and debris along with what appeared to be worms of some sort in the pool. Paint was chipping around pool and hot tub.

I like this hotel for its location and its cleanliness, the staff are friendly, and the B/fast had some good options, the pool was clean and so was the hot tub, the Gym is clean and has a good space with decent equipment for a full body workout......just a point of correction not complaining, as we stayed for 4 Nights in room # 330 Non smoking floor but the floor was smelling of weed, however I spoke to the front desk and a kind man took care of the smell...upon entering our room the beds were not made the sheets on one side of the queen bed was stained and there was KFC chicken in the mini fridge from the previous guest ......if you need Housekeeping to do your room please contact the front desk, don't assume your room will be done .......however its a fine hotel and I will go back again someday soon

Staff was friendl, check in quick. Room and facility very clean...good breakfast. Highly recommend. Right off the interstate, and pretty centrally located to any place you may want to go in Helena. Would stay again.

The positives: The lady that checked us in was very kind and friendly. The hotel was conveniently located in a safe area of town. Breakfast was good with lots of options. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. I liked that the pool was no deeper than 5 feet. Shellie’s is a really good restaurant and right across the parking lot, and it’s open 24 hours. The negatives: the hot tub was quite dirty and the jets didn’t work, which was very disappointing. The pool area had a very strong chemical smell and was not well attended (we had to go looking for towels as there were no clean ones and the bathroom had no toilet paper for two days in a row). Our room was missed for housekeeping. There was a partial wall behind the door to our room. When we entered, we swung the door wide to make room for the luggage cart and it bounced off the hidden wall, hitting me in the elbow and splitting it open. In summary, the people were lovely, but I think they might be short-staffed for their cleaning staff.

Room was clean and spacious enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast options. Some of the common areas need the carpets and tiles replaced. The gym was decent but a bit small and there were some weights missing. Pool and hot tub were decent. I'd stay there again, it just needed some love here and there.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The building is needing a little TLC, and when we needed toilet paper and tissues we had to go to the desk to get them. The complimentary breakfast was ok nothing special.

Pool was broken and closed, room was dirty not even vaccumed, elevator was broken and first morning of the stay waffle maker was down. Definitely not worth what I paid. Also a unexpected $40 fee at time of getting keys

Everything about the Hotel was exceptional, if I had one critique to offer it would be for more variety day to day for breakfast. My staff and I were there for 6 days and it was essentially the same breakfast items every day.

I was very disappointed with my stay. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to let them know I would be traveling with my service dog, so there should have been no confusion. Despite that, a front desk employee actually chased me down the hallway, yelling at me about my dog. It was embarrassing, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable—especially considering they had been notified in advance. The complimentary breakfast was another major disappointment. Both mornings, many of the breakfast items had run out and were never restocked. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because breakfast was included, yet I wasn’t able to enjoy it either day. Overall, the rude treatment from the front desk staff combined with the lack of basic service made for a very disappointing stay. I would not choose this hotel again.

Nice hotel for the price. Cleaning of the rooms could be improved. We found dirty underwear in our room that did not belong to us along with other trash and food debris that was missed by the cleaning staff. The shower had pink mold in the bottom of it. Breakfast was nice. The pool area needs attention because when the pool deck surface got wet it was extremely slippery even when walking slowly.
