Big Pine Lakefront Cottage, Dock, Kayaks & Firepit

My husband and I stayed here for the week over July 4th. Our kids (early 20s) joined us for a couple of days. The cottage was by far the cleanest (and I'm picky!) and most well stocked cottage we have ever rented. It was so nice not to have bring bedding, bath towels, beach towels, etc. There was even coffee waiting for us! The space worked very well for us and my husband was happy to make use of the little office for a work call. Fireworks viewing was perfect on the screened porch. Everyone enjoyed using the kayaks and peddle boat.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage at big pine. The home was fully stocked with linens, towels, soaps, shampoo, etc - whatever you needed. The home was cozy and roomy. The location was great - the lake was quiet yet the comforts of home were very close to get to. The highway is close enough to jump on for excursions too. We planned a few day trips but spent most of the days out on the lake with the kayaks provided. Alyssa was very prompt in responses when I had any questions.

Alyssa and Andy are perfect host from all their little touches they left made you feel right at home. I loved the open feeling of the floorplan. The screen porch was a nice place to eat and enjoy the view of the lake. The house had everything one could need for a great lakecation from kayak to paddle boat to fire pit area and grill area without having to leave the property. The beds are super comfortable and left like you were sleeping in a cloud. The kitchen had everything you need to cook in. The location was just perfect in every way. The dock is a perfect spot to sit and relax all while taking in the lake. I will definitely be back for another lakecation sometime soon.
