We stayed here on our ski trip to Monarch. Awesome location with a short drive to the slopes. Gigi is a great host and very attentive. The place is very clean and I’m a clean freak. My only complaint is the carpet. Throughout it is old and stained. Other than that, extremely clean. Hot tub was a great addition!

We stayed here for 3 nights and went skiing and tubing at Monarch. The bunk beds were a nice surprise as I figured on of my kids would just sleep on the couch. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and dine. A dish washer would be nice, but doing dishes as a family became fun after each meal. Gigi was great, and the hot tub was awesome.

We typically stay in Salida when skiing Monarch but found this place and it checked all the boxes. It must have the thickest walls ever because I am a light sleeper and heard nothing our whole trip which was just delightful! Hot tub was peaceful and convenient and the bed situation offered options when traveling with teens. Our host was lovely and the condo was immaculate! Thank you for sharing your slice of the mountains with us! We look forward to returning!

Loved our stay and the short commute to Monarch mountain for downhill ski and Monarch park for nordic skiing. Hot tub was lovely with many jets and relaxation after our ski day was enjoyed. Condo was comfortable, beds comfy. Could use a few sharp knives (like all VRBO's)

The place was so close to the ski resort. 8 minute drive. There were bunkbeds kind of built into a closet that I didn’t remember seeing in the photos. That was a great surprise because we used them. The place was clean and the hot tub was great, also very clean. We would stay again.

My friends and I enjoyed staying here. The cabin is adorable and cozy but honestly we spent most of our trip either skiing or in the hot tub which was fantastic and super convenient. The host was very kind and always made sure the hot tube was ready for us after a long day of skiing. They also provide tons of towels which was appreciated so that we could use them for showering and getting out of the hot tub. I think this is a great place to stay for a couple of friends or a small family as long as you don’t mind sharing a bathroom.

My family of five recently stayed over spring break. Gigi was there when we checked in and is such a kind and helpful person. She was quick when we ran out of paper towels, and came over when I asked for help navigating the roads (which I later saw was also in the binder provided in the condo).The condo was nice - water was hot and hot tub hotter. The pullout couch was only used one night but the beds were comfortable and the storage closet was big enough for a child to sleep in :). I suspect some might say the kitchen is small - and it is - but frankly we weren't there to make complicated meals. It got the job done. Convenience to Monarch Ski Area was surprisingly quick - a measly 5 miles! I couldn't believe it. I am sure we will be coming back in the coming years. Thank you for a great stay!

Ski town condos is an amazing place to stay! It was so cozy and in such a beautiful setting! My husband and I loved staying there! Our host Gigi provided everything we needed in our condo, and was so hospitable we also loved the hot tub!

We loved our stay at Ski Town Condos! It was super clean. It was stocked with everything we needed and the location was excellent for mountain lake and stream fishing for the week. Gigi, our hostess, was great to work with and pours her heart into this property. We look forward to a return visit!

Everything about the condo was great. Our kids were very excited about the bunk bed nook. The entire place, including the hot tub, was very clean and well maintained. Gigi is very responsive and is a superb host.

Pros: Nicely decorated. Spacious. Kitchen well stocked. Cons: Cleaning fee too high for what guest is expected to clean themselves before departing. No dishwasher. Early checkout at 10:00 am. Overall nice place to get away.

Our family of three stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The drive up from Salida is easy and the cabin is so cozy and just what we needed. The property manager, Gigi, is on-site and very helpful. The trip up to Ski Monarch mountain is soooo quick and easy which made our trip more enjoyable. The upstairs unit A is slightly outdated, but comfortable. All we needed was a warm place to sleep and hang out between ski days, and we got just that! We were able to cook meals and enjoy the hot tub as well! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a small group looking for a prime location!!

Great place for four adults. My wife and I and our daughter and her husband enjoyed the condo. I was small but great for the four of us. The hot tub was especially nice after a day of skiing. Gigi, the host, was available on premise, very friendly and check in with us to make sure we had everything. We'll be back the next time we ski for several days at Monarch.

The unit was super clean. Worked well for our family of 5. The pics listed are for one of the updated units-we stayed in B and it was not updated so I was a bit disappointed in that. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools. A pairing knife would be an excellent addition as would a pizza cutter. The hot tub was great. The internet connection was super slow which caused a bit of trouble for us-my son had to register for electives our first morning and I could not get to the site. Also troublesome for my husband who needed to do a bit of work. Location cannot be beat for skiing Monarch! The little town of Garfield is super fun!

This is a great place to stay when enjoying the area. For us, our daughter and granddaughter spent a few days enjoying the area and skiing at Monarch. It is a great location, Gigi, the owner is very friendly and attentive and the place provides a great get-a-way for us. We were there last year and returned this year. That is a great endorsement.

My family of five recently stayed over spring break. Gigi was there when we checked in and is such a kind and helpful person. She was quick when we ran out of paper towels, and came over when I asked for help navigating the roads (which I later saw was also in the binder provided in the condo).The condo was nice - water was hot and hot tub hotter. The pullout couch was only used one night but the beds were comfortable and the storage closet was big enough for a child to sleep in :). I suspect some might say the kitchen is small - and it is - but frankly we weren't there to make complicated meals. It got the job done. Ski town condos is an amazing place to stay! It was so cozy and in such a beautiful setting! My husband and I loved staying there! Our host Gigi provided everything we needed in our condo, and was so hospitable we also loved the hot tub!

This is a great place to stay when enjoying the area. For us, our daughter and granddaughter spent a few days enjoying the area and skiing at Monarch. It is a great location, Gigi, the owner is very friendly and attentive and the place provides a great get-a-way for us. We were there last year and returned this year. That is a great endorsement.

The place was so close to the ski resort. 8 minute drive. There were bunkbeds kind of built into a closet that I didn’t remember seeing in the photos. That was a great surprise because we used them. The place was clean and the hot tub was great, also very clean. We would stay again.

Our family of three stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The drive up from Salida is easy and the cabin is so cozy and just what we needed. The property manager, Gigi, is on-site and very helpful. The trip up to Ski Monarch mountain is soooo quick and easy which made our trip more enjoyable. The upstairs unit A is slightly outdated, but comfortable. All we needed was a warm place to sleep and hang out between ski days, and we got just that! We were able to cook meals and enjoy the hot tub as well! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a small group looking for a prime location!!

Gigi is a wonderful host! The beds were comfortable and the house is stocked with lots of reading material about local history, trails, and flowers. We hope to be back!15 minutes up the road is a great spot to watch the sun rise or set.

The WIFI is awful. We had work and personal calls, computer work to get done in the evening and we could not make any phone calls. We could only text. No TV service either. It wasn't bad - it wasn't available at all! We had to leave to make each call, it was not ideal.

Gigi is like family! The place is well kept and exactly what is needed for an escape to the mountains. Perfect for couples, family (2 fun bunks built in) or a place to share with friends. Closest thing you can get to the ski area. Nice deck and hot tub for the day's end. Love it! Gigi even took a big broom to clean the snow from my car before I headed back down to town. 3
