Great area and very large room. Not really a hotel more like furnished studios. No hotel amenities such as food or a lobby, gym etc. rooms have kitchens but no body lotion, tissue or included cleaning. Beware the very high hidden property fees and the “resort credit” which they offer to apply towards cleaning your studio.

Spacious clean room, love the soap dispensers in the shower, bed is comfy as well. The only downside is there is no reception and if you have a late flight and need a luggage storage, there is no front desk to keep your luggage. Overall it is a nice place.

Parking is a nightmare with lack of instruction for out of towners. If you don’t have a car, this place is a gem. Units are really chic and spacious. I’d stay again, but my $100 parking ticket bothers me

When I finally got into the property, it was beautiful. The room has everything one would need including good streaming services. It is impossible to get in early or stay later without paying a lot. There is no ability to store bags before being admitted to the room. A service is recommended that is .8 miles away. I had to use this both before and after residency. It was about USD $13 each time.

A good amount of space. Sheets were stained and there is no mirror near the sink except a reflective surface on the shower, who can meant you constantly have to turn around when shaving.

The loft itself was well lit, had everything you could need including washer/dryer. Alexa was connected to help find what we needed within the unit. Location was great. We walked everywhere. Dislikes: Our duvet cover was dirty makeup all over the top which we didn’t see right away as the duvet and cover is covered by another sheet. Garbage in the bathroom would be nice. Couldn’t find Kleenex and with the pollen blowing my husband’s allergies were acting up. Carpets in the elevator and the one under the bed were not clean.

The property is very unique, eclectic and interesting. It was also very close to everything you want in Old Montreal. The concierge was helpful and responsive when we had an issue with the TV nearly falling off the wall in our room. They happily upgraded us to another room which was also lovely. The floors however were quite dirty and left our socks black. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were pretty soundproof so there are lots and lots of pros to staying there.

Our stay at the David Hotel was terrific. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen in our room, and the room was perfectly clean and well-appointed. The hotel's staff was very accommodating, and the hotel's location was fantastic, too. 10/10, all around.

Interesting place. Great location. Wonderfully stocked with anything you might need. But really weird design. Huge kitchen, but nowhere to sit except two backless stools. Bathroom sink in the middle of the floor with no storage , counter space or mirror. Definitely a design over function kinda place.

Easy to check in with automated keypad. No technical issues which was great as we arrived at 1:30am. (Early morning the day after our check in scheduled for 4pm the previous. Only thing is the garbage disposal noise outside of Loft 47 woke my partner who is a very light sleeper up on consecutive mornings around 7:30am. Space is unmatched though, a lot of space in the room which for the rate we paid was great value!

Property was far bigger than we expected. Full apartment basically. Excellent amenities. And the location for access from the train and the access to Old Montreal was perfect. If we come to Montreal in the future we would definitely stay here again. And would recommend to family and friends.

Nice, clean, in a great location. Some off design choices with a few small changes would make the stay more enjoyable: drawers or places to store clothes, more seating areas/furniture, places to hang/dry towels, fix the shower leaking past the shower door into the main room, reconfigure the odd island based ‘bathroom’ sink - it has no mirror and no counter space.

The loft was modern and very open concept. The kitchen is very well equipped. The king bed was comfortable and the loft was clean. There is a TV however only Netflix is available.

Property was clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights; when I asked for the room to be made-up and for clean towels following the first night I was informed that would not be possible and cleaning is only done following check/out. Hotel David is in a good location - close to major points of interest and good dining venues in Old Montreal.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The size of the rooms is incredible - the kitchen comes fully stocked with all appliances and everything you could need. Check in and out is so seamless, all virtual. If you need anything you message the app and respond immediately. I will definitely be back!!

Our stay at David Hotel was amazing. The lofts are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well thought out. The property is quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We stayed at two lofts. The first was not as clean as expected (toilet was not clean and towels/shower had hair). We notified the David Hotel team and they brought in a new set of fresh towels. We moved over to the second loft to extend our stay and it was impeccable. They let us transfer directly instead of checking out then checking back in. Overall, our stay was amazing and it is in the best location close to all the restaurants, bars, and Norte Dame cathedral. I’d HIGHLY recommend staying here when visiting Montreal!

What a great stay at David Hotel. The location is super convenient to explore the old town or other areas as a metro stop is only a few minutes walk. The spacious room is a great base with all amenities you could ask for. Service from Capucine and particularly Phayssal was exceptional! No query too big or small and communication via WhatsApp made everything so convenient. Phaysall’s support and welcoming attitude on our check out day was a great end to our stay. He certainly made an impact on our stay. Thank you!

We stayed five nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room was very large and felt very comfortable. In fact, after a long day sightseeing, there was nothing like coming back to chill, eat something, watch streaming TV, read or plan the next day’s sights. The location is very central, easy to walk to major sites in Old Montreal, with numerous restaurants, bakeries and an excellent grocery nearby. The food in this city…ooh la la! It was easy to use the codes to get into the building and room. Plus there was someone most times in the office to help us or answer any questions that arose that wasn’t on their online instructions. In short, a memorable part of our visit.

Location is unbeatable: walking distance to old Montréal and foodie section of the St. Paul, which make it easy to enjoy late night outdoor performances happening in the summer. Not much noise from the adjacent suite but street noise and someone above.

It is in a great location to get out into the old town and downtown Montreal. It felt very safe. Was quiet. Geat for going to a conference at the Palais.

These cool New York-style lofts have everything that you need (good coffee!), the area in Old Montreal is ideal (truly a perfect location to explore the city), it is close to some of my favorite restaurants and cafes and very walkable, Phaysall was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend!

Entrance is very different and The configuration of the room was a bit unusual. The room was very clean which was the most important issue for me. The location of the David Hotel was very good for exploring by foot and many restaurants to choose from also within walking distance.

Entrance is very different and The configuration of the room was a bit unusual. The room was very clean which was the most important issue for me. The location of the David Hotel was very good for exploring by foot and many restaurants to choose from also within walking distance.

Great area and very large room. Not really a hotel more like furnished studios. No hotel amenities such as food or a lobby, gym etc. rooms have kitchens but no body lotion, tissue or included cleaning. Beware the very high hidden property fees and the “resort credit” which they offer to apply towards cleaning your studio.

The experience of checking in and the type of room we were given, was very different from the usual hotel. There were no brochures in the room, no lobby, and no one to ask about information in the surrounding area. We had no idea where to go for breakfast as there were few places available nearby and nowhere to grab a cup of coffee except a corner convenience store since there was no coffee available in the room. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The bathroom sink was a standalone in the room, which made it difficult to shave or to put on make up since there was no bathroom mirror over the sink. This would be a perfect place for someone who is at a convention, but not for tourists.

Room was showy but not functional. Having bathroom basin in the middle of the room was ridiculous. Glass shower doors open to entire room was uncomfortable. Room with commode had a dim light and no clothing hooks. Bathroom doesn't have a toilet paper holder so you have to hold the roll on your hand. Only good thing was location. Would not recommend .

The Old Montreal location is perfect, just a short walk to tons of restaurants, shops, and the Old Port. Check in is easy, the room was clean and spacious, and we had everything we needed. Parking was the only tough spot for us- not many places nearby that felt affordable/safe to park for multiple nights. We ended up parking by City Hall and would gladly stay again!

Kitchen and washer and dryer were great for a long weekend stay. Hair dryer, robe, slippers and umbrella available. Only negative was the shower where water soaks the floor since it’s a European style shower with no shower door. Would definitely stay here again.
