Superior Sanctuary: Refined Rustic in the Woods

This beautiful cabin is the perfect location-close to the charming town of Bayfield, with its great local restaurants and other local attractions, yet nestled in the deep forest. The cabin is serene and peaceful with views of the Boreal forest in every direction. The cabin is perfectly clean, well stocked with all needed kitchen supplies and comfortable beds. Absolutely gorgeous and perfect for my 12 year old son with the upper loft. Hiking trails are perfectly maintained. The enclosed deck allowed for the enjoyment of hearing/watching birds. We loved the double fireplace since it was cold and rainy. We feel grateful for being able to stay in such a peaceful, comfortable home. Thank you for sharing! We hope to return. We leave restored and rejuvenated.

We liked that the location of this cabin was a short distance out of town. Access to a private beach was also pretty impressive. We absolutely loved the 2-sided gas fireplace. It was chilly and rainy the first couple nights and the fireplace warmed us up nicely. The next was warm outside and we were able to use the beautiful screened porch to hang out and listen to the birds and wildlife creatures. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute and clean cabin. Fully loaded to cook and hangout. Very close to town too. Only negative is the master bedroom bed was very firm - almost like sleeping on the ground. Otherwise, a great cabin!

Loved our Girlfriend Getaway stay at Superior Sanctuary! A perfect rustic house tucked into the woods, plenty of privacy and convenient location close to Bayfield and nearby parks, orchards, and wineries/distilleries. Comfortable living room area, with cozy fireplace serving both the living room and a bedroom. wonderful screened in porch facing the woods and a creek was so serene and peaceful for morning coffee or just enjoying the sounds of the forest. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of soft towels. The entire cabin was immaculately clean. Kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Our hosts, Brian and Karen, replied immediately throughout the reservation process, with plenty of helpful information and vacation tips, and also checked in by email to make sure our stay was going well. Highly recommend a stay here! We loved our stay!
