Lotz of filled trash cans around, floors seemed stained and had trash in halls and corridors to room, inside appeared to not have been swept well nor mopped at all and had a smell of top ramen or some weird smell. If on a budget its ok.

You get what you pay for. Elevator didn't work. So many people smoking outside(and maybe inside)that it smelled inside my room. Very thin walls and could hear people above me as well.

The place is very unkempt. Someone was smoking right outside the room with no smoking sign and when reported the desk officer said they find it difficult enforcing the non smoking policy. Everything in the room was not working well. The bathroom sink was clogged. The stove not working. The crockery supply laughable

We arrived late at night and had to wait over 30 minutes to check in because the “system was rebooting”. Then there was a homeless man camped next to the elevator, blocking our access to the stairs. Our bed was made without a top sheet, which when reported was remedied by having a sheet delivered to our room so that we could make our own bed. The pillows on the bed should have been replace months ago as they were lumpy and gross. I would never go to this hotel again, nor would I suggest that anyone else do so.

I got sent to Stay America due to Balloon Fiesta raising the rates at ever other Hotel. The Hotel itself is one step away from becoming Section 8 Apartments. My two main complaints are the Laundry Room of the 6 Washers 4 were broken and the Chairs to sit on and watch your load dissappeared. The shower curtain and rod were installed to far out funneling shower water on the Floor daily. The Good: The staff behind the counter were Top notch, courteus, understanding, and accomadated my Towel requests without question. I was amazed watching them maximizing eveverything without significant resources availble and making it work. Hopefully another hotel will hire them.

First of all, the room was filthy! I had to purchase a mop, bucket, disinfectant wipes and cleaner with bleach. I had to mop one section at a time because the water was like chocolate milk. The bed sheets had black fuzz pieces everywhere. And the best part about the cleanliness, a posted notice on the bathroom mirror. Everything is cleaned top to bottom and is inspected. Everyone should be fired!!! The walls were a baby diarrhea yellowish color with marks and stains everywhere. I didnt want to even touch the walls! I believe many of the residents are living there. There are no smoking signs everywhere but i saw people smoking everytime i opened the door to leave. Then after everything, day 2 1/2, ROACHES!! I ended up throwing away all the food i purchased. Of course i left as soon as i could. I still havent received my refund for the days i didnt stay. I actually doubt i will. Staff was so annoyed I had the nerve to be disgusted by roaches. I am out so much money by this stay I am depressed. I had to wash everything I had with me for fear of roaches traveling with me. I wish i had known how bad this place was! I would have slept in my car.

Came to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and many hotels full. The room rates were higher than usual. I picked this hotel room for its kitchen but we were unable to use it because the room had bugs when we tried to have dinner the first night. We only continued to stay here because we couldn’t find another hotel. The bugs seem to be there if there was food so we kept the room clean and dry for the rest of the stay and that seemed to keep them at bay but overall this was uncomfortable. The Balloon Fiesta was great but I will not return to this hotel.

First of all the room smelled of a combination of stale cigarette smoke and mustiness! The carpet was disgusting, as if it had never been cleaned. It literally had visible (bare) footprints on it! I killed two insects that looked like roaches... it was hard to tell with the bad lighting and dark floors. When I complained to the front desk and asked for a refund the owner would only offer me a 30% discount. I finally took the offer, checked out and went to a different hotel!

The room was advertised as a queen studio but it was a full sized bed and barely slept my husband and I. Also, the hotel rooms were very outdated. However, Ashley at the front desk was amazing and very accommodating.

It’s a motel not hotel. Rm #114 our a/c unit sounds like a plane taking off every time it turns on so that woke me up all night. There is a clock but the time is wrong and it’s blinking and you can’t change the time on it. There are only 3 outlets in the whole room and all on one side, nothing near beds

Drove all day to get here and finally arrived at 1 am and couldn't check in. Apparently they were doing a night audit and system shuts down during audit. Told to sit in car and wait. Ive traveled 30 years on business and have never had an issue checking into a hotel. We waited 25 minutes and went to another hotel. I would like a refund of this charge.

I called ahead to politely inform the property of my late check in. Arrived on propoerty at 1:10am. "We can\'t check you in until our system finishes auditing" ! I waited over an hour to get into a room after a full day of travel. Note: my room was PREPAID. But, "Nope" we have to charge your damage deposit and the system\'s down. Wow ! Make me feel like a perpetrator, rather than a guest. If I prepaid, don\'t you already have my card on file ? You\'re in the HOTEL business... next to an airport ! Is it a reasonable gamble that you have late check ins ? Code keys for your \'Haven\'t Checked In Yets\' and set \'em aside. Get CUSTOMERS in rooms and ask \'em to check with the desk in the morning. Give CUSTOMERS a reason to COME BACK. Oh, wait ! We can\'t be guilty of THINKING ! "The computer says you can\'t check in... and we work for the computer." "Sorry guests... Sucks to be you !" I\'m crossing ESA off my list. Yes, it\'s True... there are other hotel chains COMPETING for my business. See Ya\'.

It was convenient to catch a 5amm flight. It is only 3 minutes from the airport. For the price I can't complain. The room is dated but everything functioned. The mini fridge was perfect for our things and heating up our food in the micro. You could even cook on 2 burners. The bathroom was updated and comfortable to shower in. The bed was a full tight for 2 but for 1 night and sleep a fews hours it was perfect. If I wanted luxury I would stay somewhere else and pay a lot more.

Most aspects are good. The area around the hotel is not considered to be very safe. Albuquerque has many great biking and hiking trails. But I didn’t find any near the hotel.

I just needed a place to stay before flying out. This place is very near to the airport and is a safe location. There's many dining options around the area. The room was what I expected for the price but the service was great. A broken remote was immediately replaced and the noisy dogs in the other room were managed. Overall, it was worth the price and great location for getting to the airport in time.

We have travelled route 66 staying in budget motels along the way - this was shocking. Did not feel safe at all, drug taking and domestic violence ongoing through the night. Room smelt appalling. Guy on check in was kind and helpful can’t help but feel for the poor soul witnessing this everyday. Do not stay here unless you want to score Fentanyl or die essentially

My room was really nice. Completely new with nice kitchenette. Very little outside noise. The coffee was good. They only offered muffins for breakfast. It was a great value. Totally enjoyed my stay

There was a lot of things wrong with room. and the icing on the cake was at 4:20am there was a fire alarm that went off because I guess somewhere on the premises something was on fire so we had to go and sit in our cars after walking through smoke filled stairwells to get to our car and finally after the fire department came and put the fire out we were allowed to go back in. Never had an explanation of what happened. The next day their breakfast that they said they were going to put out wasn't even there.

My husband and I were not happy. No breakfast in morning even though advertisement showed grab n go . The front desk workers were awful . Honestly this hotel probably one of the worse ones we stayed out 2 thumbs down

This hotel was a little rundown. Trash bags were in the hallways and not taken to the dumpsters. My room was comfortable but the desk chair was stained pretty bad and there was missing paint in the bathroom. The shower stall also had a huge crack and the shower curtain let water go everywhere. Continental breakfast was coffee, muffin and granola bars. Check in was great, fast and easy.

Hotel is being renovated. Bad thing about it was that the persons renovating hotel are staying there and they had a party, people were talking, singing and whistling. Didn’t get much sleep. Air conditioning works great, we just turned it down cause my mother was cold. I was disappointed with myself cause I didn’t look correctly at hotel info, that it didn’t have a pool or continental breakfast. It was just a simple grab and go breakfast. Room was clean but elevator and stairwells were very dirty. Sadly to say we won’t be staying there anytime soon!!!

Do NOT stay here unless you want to be kept up all night by loud people who use this place as a residence, they leave their doors open, they smoke THC all over the property, it smells like THC all over. The inside of the room was marginally clean. The staff were nice but the dont enforce the no-smoking withing 100ft of the building rule. They also do not enforce noise orders.
