Extended Stay America Suites - Albuquerque - Airport

The hotel is old and dirty. Thry get a lot of passing by workers that are probably not clean and the hallways are dirty with whatever liquid dropped, the trash cans in the hallway by the elevator were overflowing with the trash. Specially with boxes of beer. The rooms need some kind of upgrade and i skipped showering because the shower was NOT inviting at all.

There was roaches in this room.. The towels had stains... There are signs that say no smoking but have big cans outside on the walk way that have cigarette buds in them.

The staff welcomed me and checked me in quickly. The room was spacious and had a full kitchenette which saved me money by buying groceries. I loved the shower and bed. Note; This is a self service stay - they don’t have daily housekeeping and you throw away your own trash. Overall great stay for the price if you are looking for functional like I was.

The kitchen was not fully equipped with kitchen amenities, the shower tub was dirty, Sheets were dirty, didn't have any breakfast, took the last cup of coffee, sign was posted that employee will be back and that was at 6:10am-7:05am. They did fix a workorder for the room.

The lobby area smelled like stale cigarette smoke and the room smelled musty. The only food available at the included breakfast was two granola bars (see photo). The employee at the front desk explained that it had been like this for a week due to problems with food delivery -- which means management let a whole week of customers go hungry without bothering to make a grocery store trip to fix the problem.
