We started one night just to enjoy a get away. Overall very nice and would stay again. Only complaint is the balcony door is broken/ off track maybe? And so it was hard to open. The restaurant was really nice and delicious and we enjoyed both bars and pool. Definitely a nice stay.

The rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable, but they were not queen size they were double.The hallways were very hot. The pool was not clean. We had to ask multiple times for the sheets for the pullout. Breakfast was OK, but not a lot of space for seating.

The deck on the water is ideal for relaxing. You can have a drink, it is dog friendly and the staff is very helpful. The location is right in town and there are various dining options. Parking is right out the door and feels safe.

Great stay. Sad I had to ask for cups beyond those for the coffee machine. Ice bucket not emptied nor was the bag replaced. Only one ice machine in the hotel? Had to get ice in the restaurant. No newspapers on the property that we could find? Staff was congenial and helpful. These items are small, but detract from the ambience. Staff was helpful and professional.

Room smelled like cigarettes smoke, was very dusty . Woke up and stapled on a roach that was in the bathroom, closet door was old and broken.would not sit on chair in room it was stained and dirty ! Great view BUT thus hotel seriously needs up dating and care and is overpriced for poor qualit!! ! Left and went to New Hilton next door !

The hotel was older and more dated than expected. The front desk called to confirm my reservations when the room was paid for. There was trash (cups, etc.) on the window sills on my floor. We told the front desk staff. The trash was still there the next day. There was a MATTRESS lying out at the end of the hall. The river front view and location were amazing, but this hotel, not so much.

The room was very damp despite the air conditioning. Ceiling in room had water damage/peeling. Bathroom floor was sticky underfoot. Hallway was not well air-conditioned. Pool did not open until 9am. Quite disappointed considering the price point.

Stayed three nights. For some reason, they couldn't manage to clean our room either day we were there. This is after specifically asking for a room cleaning on the second day.

Area and location is awesome, lots of walkable activity and views. Room is great if you usually stay at Motel 6, if you are expecting a room Hilton properties usually offer, it’s not good. Bathroom is small, tub/shower was not clean (mold on bottom of curtain), A/C unit was very loud.

The room had a small balcony and a great view of the marina. The location is close to downtown and only 5 minutes walk to shops and dining. The riverwalk runs by the front of the hotel and you can walk to Tryon Palace in about 10 minutes. On the minus side there was significant noise from boaters or guests on the patio until around 3 am. Also we went down for the breakfast buffet at 9 am and found it had closed. Luckily there are several options nearby. I recommend The Bakery on Middle St.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Room was comfortable with a good view of the marina. Pet friendly and our dog was welcome. Only issue was the water pressure on 5th floor. Very erratic with temperature variances which caused serious risk of being burned with the very hot water.

There wasn't any chairs on the balcony which defeated the purpose. If we ever stay again we will not be paying for a balcony room. Also, the shower leaked. It sprayed up onto the ceiling and flooded the bathroom. (Which is extremely small) Maintenance did come and fix it immediately.

This hotel is currently (2022) stuck in the early 2000’s, room design wise. It reminds me of hotels I’d stay in during biz trips in 2004-2005. That said, the hotel staff said it was recently purchased by new owners. Let’s hope they renovate it.

The stay started with the front desk giving another guest the same key as us and a young man started coming into our room. Worse was when I called desk they acted like it was no problem and that “ he’ll probably bring it back to us”. Really? I should count on that? Then we didn’t get service one day so ran out of tp, no clean towels and when I called I was told they had no staff to bring us tp. All this and restaurant was closed for repairs which the hotel failed to inform us of prior to our stay. All in all I w

We had a great stay with our family of 5. The customer service was excellent--from warm cookies, to piles of towels, to a rollaway bed to stop the kids from arguing--they took care of it all with a great big smile.

Front desk staff was great, particularly Justin, who worked the night front desk. He was so funny and kind, had great recommendations for local coffee and dinner. Jennifer in the restaurant during breakfast was also great! I’ll be traveling to New Bern regularly for work and will definitely be staying here again!

I paid additional room charge to have balcony over looking the river. Beautiful view. However they do not even have a chair to sit on that balcony. When I told the person at front desk she quickly dismissed me. Clearly I had not been the only person to mention this and she clearly did not want to hear about it.

The pool needed maintenance. It was dirty and needs updating. They ran out of pool towels and there were not that many people using the pool. There were no chairs on the balcony because of liability reasons. I would not have paid for a balcony if I could not use it. The restaurant had great food.

The stay started with the front desk giving another guest the same key as us and a young man started coming into our room. Worse was when I called desk they acted like it was no problem and that “ he’ll probably bring it back to us”. Really? I should count on that? Then we didn’t get service one day so ran out of tp, no clean towels and when I called I was told they had no staff to bring us tp. All this and restaurant was closed for repairs which the hotel failed to inform us of prior to our stay. All in all I w

Great service from check in to check out. Enjoyed the views from the room of the boats decorated for Christmas as well as the sunrise and sunset. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

We started one night just to enjoy a get away. Overall very nice and would stay again. Only complaint is the balcony door is broken/ off track maybe? And so it was hard to open. The restaurant was really nice and delicious and we enjoyed both bars and pool. Definitely a nice stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful location by the river, very walkable and pleasant and close to nice restaurants and coffee shops. But the hotel itself offers little out of the ordinary. The restaurant was closed and furnishings like towels are old. Three mounted bottles of conditioner in the shower, no shampoo or soap. Why?

Great hotel. Loved the free cookies, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and Tanya at the breakfast buffet was outstanding!

For the price paid, ~$300 per night, the room should have been much nicer. The heating/cooling units were very noisy, day and night. We all had very poor sleep each night. The foldout couch mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom ceiling leaked, due to construction in the room directly above. Hardly any baggage carts ( 5 maybe) in the entire hotel. But, service at Christoph's bar and restaurant was great, as was the omelet station chef!

Besides the room and amenities my view over looking the pool, water and boats was beautiful! Definitely stay there again when I come to visit family.

Stay was great. It was just an over night stay because my dad was going in for surgery the next day . Beds are comfortable, room and bathroom were clean. View was beautiful of the harbor. Breakfast was great w/ So many choices.

Though my stay was brief, it was pleasant. The smallest criticism; if you use the bathtub the toiletries hang high behind your head!! Small stuff over-all though!!
