When we first arrived, there was no one at the front desk. We waited about 20 minutes, and no one showed up. We used the call box outside to call the hotel and were told by someone offsite that they could not help us and just to wait for someone to show up. Finally, the front desk attendant arrived with some fast food she had left to obtain. Not totally her fault as she should have had backup. The whole place smelled like weed. We killed three roaches within the first five minutes in our room. The shower/tub had black stains in it and we decided to go without showering as it would likely make us dirtier. We left for a show and came back. None of our cards worked on the front door, and we had to use the callbox again to find someone to let us in. We were told (for the first time) that we had to enter through a side door. We went upstairs and none of our keys worked on the door the first 3 or four times. One finally worked, but the others didn't. A few of us slept on top of the covers in fear of bed bugs. The carpet was heavily stained and none of us removed our socks the whole time we were there. I will say all three of the staff members we encountered were extremely pleasant, friendly, sweet and helpful. Not their fault that the place is kind of a dump. Most definitely would not stay here again. Felt nasty and somewhat unsafe.

At 3:40pm the front desk wasnt there. We had to go back outside and call on an outdoor provided phone. There werent any elevators and our room was on the 3rd floor. It says no smoking however every floor snelled strongly of pot. Our bathroom still had trash in it from a previous guest. The sink drain was broken and the toilet wasnt attached to the floor and it wobbled awful. Not sure wgat ut was but there was a thick white film in the tub. I killed 2 cockroachs in the kitchen area. Stains on all furniture, walls and ceiling. A bunch of cuss words were written by one of the beds. I wasnt able to sleep all night because of the filth. When i told the front desk after having to call her again she just said she'd tell maintenance and the manager. No breakfast or coffee provided, not that we wouldve earen it. Lastly for ice we were told they dont have an ice maker but provided were ice trays in the freezer, eewww. I expected more for paying $143 for one night.

The front lobby was under construction but it was poorly roped off. No one was up front when I arrived. I couldn’t find anyone to check us on. I had to call the hotel for someone to come check me in, only to be greeted by a gentleman wearing a plain white shirt and sagging pants. He had nothing on to even signify he was an employee. He was able to get us checked in but our room was disgusting. Had we not been exhausted, we would have refused. The room smelled like cat urine. The carpet had numerous large stains and gum stuck in it in several spots. The refrigerator door would not stay closed. There was dirt piled up on the floor around the side of the couch. All of the cabinetry in the bathroom was water damaged and falling apart. The towel rack was hanging down with random screws sporadically placed to keep it up.

From the time I "TRIED" to check in until I left was not a good experience. I checked in at the lobby and went to get my family. I went to the FIRST room and the door wouldn't open. The lady at the desk tells me the battery for the door is messing up and she's not going to put batteries in it. She changed me to a "SECOND" room on the third floor. Keep in mind NO elevator in the hotel. We walk up to the THIRD floor to the room. We get in the room and the room is a complete mess. I mean it had not been cleaned or anything! I go down to the lobby and she tells me that they don't have housekeeping like that. That's not my problem! So she moves us to a "THIRD" room on the second floor. We get in this room and the floor is filthy and the kitchen area is not cleaned. We managed through the night and we headed out first thing this morning. This is by far the worst experience ever. The lady at the desk should've offered something instead she just smirked and laughed and kept moving me. I wouldn't recommend at all.

Room was clean. The property is dated and needs some renovations. No gym, breakfast is cold (granola bars, fruit, cereal). Lobby smelled a bit like smoke, the lampshades had stains, and there were chipped pieces of wall missing.

It was a decent enough place for the price and in a great location but the property is in serious need of updating/remodeling. The actual room did not look like the pictures on the website. For an extended-stay hotel, it was lacking in all amenities...no cookware, no plates, bowls or utensils, no ice machine or trays for the freezer. Every cabinet and drawer was empty. It appeared to be more a home for transient people than a hotel. Pretty noisy with people arguing in rooms and hallways, banging on walls, etc. But $80 per night compared to $400 per night at the hotel across the street made it worth a try.

This property was DIRTY, HAD BUGS CRAWLING AROUND, STAINED SHEETS AND TOWELS. The smell of marijuana was so bad and hookers in the building. Never in my life have I seen a more disgusting hotel room. We had to leave first thing in the morning to find a new hotel. They would not even issues me a refund. I booked 3 rooms with no help from Expedia .

The most DISGUSTING hotel you will ever step into. Roaches and bugs everywhere, stained sheets, stained mattresses… we walked in and immediately walked right back out. Had to book a new hotel 45min away at 1am after traveling all day. Do not book here. Save yourself the trauma of seeing the inside of this hotel.

Room is SO dirty. Saw one live roach and one dead. The toilet had pubic hair on it as well as other… excrement. Glad to have only stayed one night. There was no sheet/blanket set for the pull out sofa, but even if there had been, we wouldn’t have slept on it. The mattress had mystery stains all over it. The tub also doesn’t drain well so I was stuck standing in water while showering. This is by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and it wasn’t even the cheapest - for $100 plus $25 for the pet fee for just one night, I expected better. I don’t know if they even looked at this room before allowing me inside. Really disappointed in it and won’t be staying here again. My only positive experience was that the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful as I checked in.

This place was awful. I stayed at the location on Harrison ave in Cary NC which is a relatively upscale area. The whole hotel smelled of mildew. The door locks didn't work, there was a large hole in the carpet, the cabinets in the kitchen area were literally falling apart and the stove was rusty and looked to be older than the building. The sheets seemed dingy and there wasn't a trash can in the room at all. Just the worst hotel I've stayed in.

I had to fix the toilet- would not flush. Tv would not work. Wi-go did not work. Roach in bed. No trash can or anything in the kitchen. Disappointing!

Rm I booked, A/C didn’t work. EVERYTHING was disgusting. Holes in walls everywhere in room. Towels were dingy and stringy. Furniture had bottoms hang down. The stairs, which is only way to be get to other floors didn’t even have signs where there were, which would’ve been great help bc they stopped and started elsewhere at each floor. Outside was just as bad, trash everywhere and grass and weeds tall and not kept up. Families living at hotel as well. Rm I booked, A/C didn’t work. EVERYTHING was disgusting. Holes in walls everywhere in room. Towels were dingy and stringy. Furniture had bottoms hang down. The stairs, which is only way to be get to other floors didn’t even have signs where there were, which would’ve been great help bc they stopped and started elsewhere at each floor. Outside was just as bad, trash everywhere and grass and weeds tall and not kept up. Families living at hotel as well. Entrance door propped open with what i think was a broom. Rooms are dirty had to change rooms because TV wasn't working. There were bugs in bathroom as well as the tile coming off the floor the stove was on not sure when or how long it had been on. Smelll in rooms alone with water from toliet mold in bathroom. Pictures on site are nothing like the actual room. I will not be using them again this is the second time and I was not happy.

upon check in the front desk recommended that I park my car outside my room so I can keep an eye on it overnight. the room didn't have a coffee maker, the stove was dirty, and the microwave had rust in it. TV had scratch mark on its screen. Hallway had an order. NEVER AGAIN

I had to fix the toilet- would not flush. Tv would not work. Wi-go did not work. Roach in bed. No trash can or anything in the kitchen. Disappointing!

This is easily the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The staff were hardly ever at the front desk. I had to ask twice for kitchen essentials (plates cups silverware) and was told there were no clean ones. And then after some more complaints followed staff to a room full of clean items. The room smelled weird. The kitchen appliances looked like they wouldn’t work - the fridge had rust on the outside - I had brought my own hotplate so never tried the stove. The other guests included families with noisy kids and yelling parents. The “included breakfast “ was coffee and a granola bar or bag of instant oatmeal. I was also called by the police during my stay as they were evacuating the building or at least part of it because of an unsafe disturbance in progress

The room was spacious enough but not as clean as I would have liked. There were two microwave ovens, one of which was unplugged and thus unnecessary. The cabinets were subpar with visible screws exposed. The toilet was tilted at an angle with shims visible and sticking out towards the side of the tilt so they were completely ineffective. When I walked on the laminate flooring barefoot, they were sticky. The carpet in the hallways was dirty and worn. I understand now why it was so cheap.

It was a decent enough place for the price and in a great location but the property is in serious need of updating/remodeling. The actual room did not look like the pictures on the website. For an extended-stay hotel, it was lacking in all amenities...no cookware, no plates, bowls or utensils, no ice machine or trays for the freezer. Every cabinet and drawer was empty. It appeared to be more a home for transient people than a hotel. Pretty noisy with people arguing in rooms and hallways, banging on walls, etc. But $80 per night compared to $400 per night at the hotel across the street made it worth a try.

The front desk check in was great. Our room was not ready at 5pm so employee upgraded us. That made me happy , after seeing my up grade, I wondered how bad my original room would of been.

When we first arrived, there was no one at the front desk. We waited about 20 minutes, and no one showed up. We used the call box outside to call the hotel and were told by someone offsite that they could not help us and just to wait for someone to show up. Finally, the front desk attendant arrived with some fast food she had left to obtain. Not totally her fault as she should have had backup. The whole place smelled like weed. We killed three roaches within the first five minutes in our room. The shower/tub had black stains in it and we decided to go without showering as it would likely make us dirtier. We left for a show and came back. None of our cards worked on the front door, and we had to use the callbox again to find someone to let us in. We were told (for the first time) that we had to enter through a side door. We went upstairs and none of our keys worked on the door the first 3 or four times. One finally worked, but the others didn't. A few of us slept on top of the covers in fear of bed bugs. The carpet was heavily stained and none of us removed our socks the whole time we were there. I will say all three of the staff members we encountered were extremely pleasant, friendly, sweet and helpful. Not their fault that the place is kind of a dump. Most definitely would not stay here again. Felt nasty and somewhat unsafe.

The front lobby was under construction but it was poorly roped off. No one was up front when I arrived. I couldn’t find anyone to check us on. I had to call the hotel for someone to come check me in, only to be greeted by a gentleman wearing a plain white shirt and sagging pants. He had nothing on to even signify he was an employee. He was able to get us checked in but our room was disgusting. Had we not been exhausted, we would have refused. The room smelled like cat urine. We attempted to stay here during the Cary snowstorm of 2025. Upon arriving at the property, we met another couple who had been ghosted by the front desk person who had fled due to the snow. Calls to corporate were unfruitful and we even called the Cary police for help. Ultimately, we went elsewhere for our stay and when we called the following day to inquire what happened, the front desk person was VERY defensive. I would encourage you not to stay here, rain or shine -- they do NOT deliver. Pay a little more to go somewhere else; you won't regret it.

From the time I "TRIED" to check in until I left was not a good experience. I checked in at the lobby and went to get my family. I went to the FIRST room and the door wouldn't open. The lady at the desk tells me the battery for the door is messing up and she's not going to put batteries in it. She changed me to a "SECOND" room on the third floor. Keep in mind NO elevator in the hotel. We walk up to the THIRD floor to the room. We get in the room and the room is a complete mess. I mean it had not been cleaned or anything! I go down to the lobby and she tells me that they don't have housekeeping like that. That's not my problem! So she moves us to a "THIRD" room on the second floor. We get in this room and the floor is filthy and the kitchen area is not cleaned. We managed through the night and we headed out first thing this morning. This is by far the worst experience ever. The lady at the desk should've offered something instead she just smirked and laughed and kept moving me. I wouldn't recommend at all.

This hotel needs to get a facelift. First, the lobby was closed when we arrived shortly after 11 and we tried to call through the phone located outside by dialing "0", then we tried to call the number found online. We were able to get someone who tried to call the person in charge. After about 30min, we were able to get someone to get us our keys. The room I had was in bad shape. There were cockroaches and the kitchen had some missing pieces to it (mostly cosmetic). The linens were not ironed and were quite suspect under UV lights. The bathtub would not drain either. The hotel was noisy, I could hear foot steps, folks flushing m, listening to the TV etc. I have been to other extended stay hotels in the past. This one is bad. Avoid.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Might be a long post but I have to warn people. We just needed a simple hotel to rest our heads and shower because we would be out and about most our trip. Nothing fancy. When getting a hotel, it shouldn’t matter how cheap it is, it should always be clean and healthy to be in. This place was in face not clean and definitely not safe or healthy to be in. We’re traveling with our 4 months old son so clean is extra crucial. We had a long day of traveling and had issues with our flights that added time so we were beyond exhausted. We got in around 1am went straight to our room and went straight to sleep. They only had stairs, no elevator. Their “included breakfast” is literally oatmeal packets and granola bars. But those aren’t even the issues that made us leave. It wasn’t until the next day and we turned all the lights on and looked around that we realized how bad this place was. It was filthy. We found mold, dog hair, nasty stuff on the wall and around the stove and as we were leaving we saw a roach. I was seriously so freaked out and disgusted. We got a refund on the nights we didn’t stay (even though we should get a full refund) and was able to find an amazing AirBnb for cheaper and it was so so nice and the host was AMAZING. Once you got into the building, the old hotel smelling hits your nose to welcome your arrival. At the check in , staff mention the breakfast will be at the table behind where you standing. I asked what will be for breakfast? The staff answered... Greeds oatmeal gonola bar. No hair dryer in my room, I talked to the staff, was sliding her phone Rarely raise her head to look me while our conversation. She wanted me come back to get the hair dryer later. At the end, I didn't get one , due to she can't find any hair dryers. It was a pain for my family, when we can't wash our hair because can't stand in wet hair to sleep, so we hated not have cleaned hair for the night and next day. We have a sofa bed for one of my family, when I left up the sofa bed handle, immediately saw the dirty bed and mold on the mattress, that explains the smell came from. I should asking for change room, but I didn't. For the price, and only one night, I only asked bed sheets. I really should asked for changing room. Next morning at 8am, there was no one at desk, only a note says using the outside phone to call #0. There was no one answer that calling for 5 minutes. I can't check out while I was late for our schedule. 8:45, a housekeeper saw me, but isn't her job to check out for me, she left a note for me to prove. No breakfast shows on the table. Terrible experience.

This place was awful. I stayed at the location on Harrison ave in Cary NC which is a relatively upscale area. The whole hotel smelled of mildew. The door locks didn't work, there was a large hole in the carpet, the cabinets in the kitchen area were literally falling apart and the stove was rusty and looked to be older than the building. The sheets seemed dingy and there wasn't a trash can in the room at all. Just the worst hotel I've stayed in.

It was a decent enough place for the price and in a great location but the property is in serious need of updating/remodeling. The actual room did not look like the pictures on the website. For an extended-stay hotel, it was lacking in all amenities...no cookware, no plates, bowls or utensils, no ice machine or trays for the freezer. Every cabinet and drawer was empty. It appeared to be more a home for transient people than a hotel. Pretty noisy with people arguing in rooms and hallways, banging on walls, etc. But $80 per night compared to $400 per night at the hotel across the street made it worth a try.

When me and my friend got into the lobby of the hotel as soon as we opened the door we smelled something that resembled cigarettes smoke, humidity or mold. It was the first thing we noticed upon entering the facility; same reaction we had when walking down the hallway to our room. Also, that stay included free breakfast which was non-existent at 6:47 AM. There was coffee that made the impossible of being used over and over only because of the clarity of the product; not worth the try to sip it. The morning front desk attendant offered no explanation for the coffee condition or for not having the advertise breakfast options available. The night before we asked the front desk clerk for a phone charge box and she looked for one and let us borrow it for few hours which we are grateful for.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Might be a long post but I have to warn people. We just needed a simple hotel to rest our heads and shower because we would be out and about most our trip. Nothing fancy. When getting a hotel, it shouldn’t matter how cheap it is, it should always be clean and healthy to be in. This place was in face not clean and definitely not safe or healthy to be in. We’re traveling with our 4 months old son so clean is extra crucial. We had a long day of traveling and had issues with our flights that added time so we were beyond exhausted. We got in around 1am went straight to our room and went straight to sleep. They only had stairs, no elevator. Their “included breakfast” is literally oatmeal packets and granola bars. But those aren’t even the issues that made us leave. It wasn’t until the next day and we turned all the lights on and looked around that we realized how bad this place was. It was filthy. We found mold, dog hair, nasty stuff on the wall and around the stove and as we were leaving we saw a roach. I was seriously so freaked out and disgusted. We got a refund on the nights we didn’t stay (even though we should get a full refund) and was able to find an amazing AirBnb for cheaper and it was so so nice and the host was AMAZING. Not only was the hotel disgusting but there were very sketchy people hanging around (even though it’s in an extremely nice area), some of the workers we encountered had an “idc about you” attitude, halls smelled like weed. 1)The room was smoky, carpet stained, microwave dirty, another wall microwave was broken and could not be closed so the light remained on all night, table and sofa was "sticky" in parts, food remnants when sofa bed was opened, found roaches. Asked for a change and was told all rooms were about the same and was told that this property is independently owned and not part of corporate ESA. 2) No breakfast both days as mentioned on the website 3) Sofa bed had no sheets. Upon request, the attendant brought two thin sheets and no blanket and said they had no more! 4) No pots/pans, or even paper cups. No water fountain filtered water in lobby or premise. Once again, this property is independently owned and does not meet the standards of ESA. I request a partial refund.

Once you got into the building, the old hotel smelling hits your nose to welcome your arrival. At the check in , staff mention the breakfast will be at the table behind where you standing. I asked what will be for breakfast? The staff answered... Greeds oatmeal gonola bar. No hair dryer in my room, I talked to the staff, was sliding her phone Rarely raise her head to look me while our conversation. She wanted me come back to get the hair dryer later. At the end, I didn't get one , due to she can't find any hair dryers. It was a pain for my family, when we can't wash our hair because can't stand in wet hair to sleep, so we hated not have cleaned hair for the night and next day. We have a sofa bed for one of my family, when I left up the sofa bed handle, immediately saw the dirty bed and mold on the mattress, that explains the smell came from. I should asking for change room, but I didn't. For the price, and only one night, I only asked bed sheets. I really should asked for changing room. Next morning at 8am, there was no one at desk, only a note says using the outside phone to call #0. There was no one answer that calling for 5 minutes. I can't check out while I was late for our schedule. 8:45, a housekeeper saw me, but isn't her job to check out for me, she left a note for me to prove. No breakfast shows on the table. Terrible experience.

Room was clean. The property is dated and needs some renovations. No gym, breakfast is cold (granola bars, fruit, cereal). Lobby smelled a bit like smoke, the lampshades had stains, and there were chipped pieces of wall missing.

Very spacy and staff was friendly. Only thing I didn't like was not having a hot breakfast. It was just cereal bars, oatmeal, and muffins. Overall, it was a great stay.

Offered no coffee in room or out of room, had a small soap and tiny bottle of shampoo but it was a good deal for the price. I would stay again it was roomy and very clean offered a kitchen, that was nice if your stay more than a day.. Also a small table to eat on which was good. Staff was not that friendly but I guess you have to pay for that although everyone else in North Carolina were very nice. Parking was very easy.

Room booked was not the room I received. No elevator for disabled mother, she had to walk up to the 3rd floor. Spent about 30 mins there including walking up the stairs because the room smelt disgusting, like mold & smoking, there was mold on the lampshade, red stains on the bed. Housekeeping & Receptionist decided to text back and forth while standing next to each other. They ended up cancelling my reservation & now I'm worried about my refund. Ending up having to pay double at another hotel last night. 7 year old ended up having an asthma attack due to the smell & condition of the room. Was handed 2 keys for a keyless door, so I had to go back down. Text that the hotel sent looked like a scam text, it was someone else's name. They said we could not leave without checking the room first & had to text about it. Another guest was having an issue as well but I'm not sure what that was about.

The name of the hotel is deceiving. It is a “extended stay” hotel, so there are no amenities. The rooms are minimally furnished, bed was nice but 2 small pillows and no bed spread (when I asked for extra pillows, my request was denied), I saw a couple of roaches in the bathroom, old and smelly carpets and hallways….and stained walls. The property is not well maintained, but the room is tolerable.
