The host was very helpful and accessible and went out of his way to make our stay as easy as possible. Space is tight but everything was available to use and nicely furnished. Only thing was no lift to get suitcases up the stairs but the host was happy to lift these for us.

We had a great week long stay here. We didn’t have a noise problem. There’s a cute black cat that lives in the hotel. Very nice area with tons of restaurants and pubs nearby. Only complaint is the stairs and there wasn’t a deadbolt on the door. A lift would have honestly made the stay perfect. The shower had poor water pressure as well but the water was always hot.

Although not an issue for me (my room was 2nd floor) there is no lift. The area is noisy as it surrounded by clubs and pubs, it is also dirty. The bathroom was ridiculously small (narrow) the wash basin was approx 6" x 12"

It was pretty good overall. Comfortable, everything I needed. They had a charge to watch my bags for a few hours after checkout. Small detail I know, but this is normally quite standard at hotels and felt kind of lame/unhelpful.

The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, however, the room left much to be desired. Firstly, the room had no interior lock, which was concerning when an employee entered my room 5 minutes before I took a shower. Secondly, there appeared to be mildew in the shower, and only around 30 seconds of hot water before it went cold. I had to turn the shower off for a couple minutes to get another 30 seconds of warm water. Thirdly, the sheets had multiple stains on them, even though they did appear to be freshly washed. Lastly, when I was there, there was also a cat which repeatedly urinated and defecated on the interior entry mat. I'm not sure if this cat lived there or was a guests, but the entry way consistently smelled bad.

Extremely clean and good sized room with small kitchen area for making drinks and cooking basic meals. Also had a washing machine which I didn’t need but it was there…you need to buy your own laundry products. The place is very close to the subway just a short walk and was up a side street so wasn’t noisy which is a bonus in London. It’s in a good area with great pubs, bars and restaurants and was very close to venue I was attending so perfect for me. I would definitely stay here again if was looking for a place close to that same area again.

Super clean and the reception was so kind. I would stay there again, it’s a great location and if you just need minimal, this is the place.

We stayed at this property for almost a month. Overall our stay was OK and the staff were lovely. The building is so different from the pictures on the listing that they might as well be from a different hotel. The building is tired and suffering from a lot of very badly bodged DIY fixes almost everywhere you look. The tiling looks like it was done blindfolded and the general standard of the finish was like it had all been done in a rush by someone who didn’t really know what they were doing. Our initial room (4a) was very dark and dingy, poorly laid out and all the walls are covered in freestyle Artex artwork. The windows looked directly into a service space on the roof with filthy ducting and building detritus. The toilet, sink and shower were also blocked so we were moved into a much nicer room facing Rivington Street. Although the room was much lighter, neither of the 2 windows would close properly meaning any noise outside (like the nightly 11pm bin Lorries) was very loud in the room. We weren’t too bothered by this but this is a very noisy area esp. at the weekend so be prepared. The kitchen was fine and having your own laundry facilities is a bonus. The cooker hood was missing most of its buttons, the microwave lcd screen wasn’t working and both rooms had an absolute bare minimum of cooking and eating implements so be prepared to improvise. There is a very pungent smell in the foyer when you open the front door and this did not shift for our whole stay.

I also didn’t appreciate the person at reception asking me to put a good review online before I had even checked in. The tv in the room didn’t work and one of the towels had a stain on it.

Overall I had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Old Street Station and close to lots of restaurants, bars, shops and transport links, which made it ideal for exploring London. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the basics you need. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience. I would recommend staying here

The Aparthotel has an excellent location. But the conditions are just ok. For example, we had issues with our key card working and they couldn't issue a new one so we had to get a manual key, of which there was only one and there were two travelers. Second issue was with the lock box which also had a nonworking key. Finally, there was a layer of dust over much of the room and the shower did not look very clean. These concerns aside, the check in was easy and the spaciousness of the room was great as were the facilities of the kitchen.

Location of hotel is excellent and it was extremely good value for being so central. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. Only elements that fell short were that the duvet cover was was stained as was the shower curtain

Room was clean and ready when we arrived, reception staff friendly.

This is a postage stamp size room suitable for simply sleeping and taking a shower for one person.

The rooms are very compact but comfortable once you’ve understood how to turn the heating on. I couldn’t get the towel radiator to work in the bathroom but this wasn’t a major problem.

It was so noisy I didn’t get a wink of sleep - it is party central outside and when that calmed down at 4 the sun came up and there are no blackout blinds

Sercice was supper friendly and helpful. Room was small but well laid out and very clean. Curtains on 2 of the 3 windows were useless, the 3rd window had no curtain so streetlights and daylight made it morw like a lightroom than a dark room

Okay .. as a small business owner, i don't usually leave less than highest reviews, but because this hotel has (imo) inflated ratings i stayed here... Please note, across the four room block i reserved, the standard room was fine, even good. The 3 superior rooms are not good. They have beds crammed into rafters, if you're with drunk friends or several kids, this might be a good value, certainly for the proximity to transport (& the loud popular bars). I have no idea about building codes in London. But the superior rooms wouldn't pass code.

Stay was just ok, room was clean but average and air con for the downstairs was just a fan. The bed was not comfortable as was very hard. The kitchen was well stocked and bathroom was small but very functional aside from the hike up to the shower. Not sure a hotel should have a cat running about either.

Three huge beds, kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and coffee makers (but no dishwasher), airconditioning that worked very well. Some noise from the street at night since there are many bars nearby, but nothing sleep-ruining for us. Bathroom was small but functional. One aspect they should improve is their communication. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with them as they never answered the phone when we tried to call and the contact form to send a message from their website did not work. However when you meet in person at the reception the staff is very friendly and helpful, no complaints.

Tiny room and quite noisy from street outside. Bed linen made up of 2 sheets overlapping- not impressive. Shower tiny. Good point is location the rest distinctly mediocre. But considering cost in this area it’s just about acceptable

The single room is quite cleverly photographed on the site so that it doesn't show how truly tiny the room is. The bed is right next to the sink and kettle, the microwave is on a shelf at the foot of the bed, next to the TV which is angled above the bed. The room is tiny. It's also right next to a streetlight and not double-glazed, so you can hear every noise from the rather busy street below until the small hours. I slept terribly. On top of all that, they demand a card for a £75 "breakage deposit" when you arrive, which is barely mentioned on the listing. If I'd known before I booked I would have gone somewhere else because they are often a scam for the unwary. They did not return this deposit to me after more than a week after checkout, so I had to ask the bank for a chargeback. All-in-all a terrible experience, would not recommend staying here at all. Next time I will spend the extra £20 and stay in a real hotel.

Clean room, well looked after. Ali on reception was excellent and really made me feel welcome.

What I didn't like was the incesseant messaging before check ins even though it said I could check in before 12 AM, I was called multiple times from 3 pm to 9 PM, even after I let them know I'll be there for 930 PM. I eventually checked in at 935 pm.

Excellent location near Liverpool street station. Stayed with family in the grand apartment. Comfortable beds with air conditioning. Separate kitchen & Sainsburys is 1 minute away. Would highly recommend for a family stay. Ryan in reception was very helpful also

We had the most amazing check in with Ali making everything we needed happen! Top guy and so accommodating he made our Anniversary weekend perfect.

The hotel is nice and the area is great. The staff are very friendly, especially Mr. Mohamed Samir, who showed me my flat and gave me recommendations for things to do in the area. It was all very helpful.

The place was okay and as expected. I was just disappointed by the lack of communication about the deposit. They did not mention to me that it would take 5-7 working days to return into my account. The communication from the reception/ concierge was very poor. And it says they stay in the building until 10pm, which was not true. He left immediately after I checked in, leaving me with no one to make any requests/ complaints to.

Extremely well located in Shoreditch, a few steps away from Underground and Bus stops. I particularly liked having a kitchen (with fridge and microwave) so that I could get food from nearby supermarket and eat in. Staff was extremely kind and helpful.

This hotel deserves 10/10 due to following reasons. Location: 5 minute walk to Old Town station (underground), buses and immediate vicinity to Sainsbury grocery, many shops and restaurants. The neighbourhood itself is quite nice. Liverpool Street i also within close walking distance. You may reach most of central attractions within 30 minutes of public transport. Room amenities: Has everything and more one could expect of a budget accommodation such as flatscreen TV witj many channels, good WIFI, AC, hairdrier, iron board, lots of electrical outlets, and a mini kitchen with micro, sink, stove, cupboards and a refrigerator, and a nice bathroom. The room was very clean. Value: Look at the map of hotels in central London. You often have to pay twice the amount, for the location. There is no better value hotel for what you get im central London. Service: The staff was very helpful and swrvice oriented. They went out od their way to accomodate my requests. Overall highly recommended, and I will come here again for my next stay!

Location is great. Access to the tube and buses are close by. We stayed for 5 nights and they came to clean our room 2 times and give us a pile of new towels. We didnt expect any room service. Also fixed our air conditioning issue promptly. Very happy about our stay.
