Interior great! Exterior shabby. Access by exterior stairs in very poor condition. There was no dishwasher. There was only 2 of everything. 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 cups etc. Even the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Bathroom excellent with plenty of piping hot water. We had a sea view. The beach is not within easy walking distance.

Apartment tired but clean and adequate. Would like kitchen utensils to be reviewed but you get the basics. Shower cubicle could be larger given the size of bathroom. Would like the pool to be open earlier but the pool manager is a gem. All in all a good budget stay. Plenty of parking if you aren’t insisting parking outside your door. Staff are so welcoming and helpful.

We stayed in the studio deluxe room which was very nice, although could do with a mirror in the living area. The bar and swimming area looked nice but as we stayed mid week late June there was no entertainment, which was a shame so we did not use this facility. The site was in desperate need of a complete makeover, very run down outside. It was a good place for a base to visit north Devon.

Wouldn’t waste your money dirty, filthy noisy the family next to us couldn’t wait to get home to make a formal complaint. Advertise shop, but all you can get was tampons or chutney no general essentials. If we were there for longer than one night we would’ve left and found somewhere else to go. We found stuff left from the previous people that we left on the table. Waste of our money. Very poorly advertised misleading it was an utter disappointment for our two children.

We reported on our first day that we had no hot water, maintenance man arrived, looked, then left saying he would be back. Never came back! No hot water for the whole stay. Apartment was dirty and smelly, again we reported it on the first day, nothing! Extremely rundown accomodation at a high cost. IHP needs to step up and join the 21st century.

Would return to the North Devon resort. Very friendly and welcoming staff amd nothing was too much trouble. Apartment was clean and tidy and provided for small comforts such as teabags, coffee and milk. Very nice stay amd wish i would have stayed longer to enjoy the complex more.

We chose this property because it had family rooms and ample parking for our vehicle while we hiked the Coastal Path for a few days. However, we felt that we were staying in a college dorm, with a dance party next door. Also, it's a mile up a steep hill from the quay. The staff were very helpful with logistics and sorting out a snafu with our left luggage. It all worked out, so I give it three stars.

We never even got to check in. We checked in online before 6p. We arrived at 7:10p, (after 6pm) and they did not have record of our checkin time. The way that they do their "LATE" checkin is that they pass it off to the owner of a local resturaunt and they handle it. They were not notified and had no record of our time, very confusing. We left after waiting an hour to go find a different place to stay. We would like to be refunded since we never were even given a room to stay.

There was only 2 of everything. 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 cups etc. Even the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Bathroom excellent with plenty of piping hot water. We had a sea view. The beach is not within easy walking distance.

We stayed in the studio deluxe room which was very nice, although could do with a mirror in the living area. The bar and swimming area looked nice but as we stayed mid week late June there was no entertainment, which was a shame so we did not use this facility. The site was in desperate need of a complete makeover, very run down outside. It was a good place for a base to visit north Devon.

very clean & tidy apartment, mattresses comfortable but disappointed with very flat pillows & only one each & NO toiletries or soaps of any sort, only half a toilet roll also. Staff helpful with a problem though. Bar & soft play is great. Didn’t have time to use the swimming pool but looked good. Didn’t end up eating there either cause we were too late. They don’t serve breakfast, which found odd. No entertainment in the may half term either.

It was a great stay, nice facilities and amazing staff. The only reason I wouldn't say 5 is: - check in was delayed by an hour or so. - there was no spatula. - the hob fan and light didn't work - the microwave defrost was more like full power. - I didn't know what to do with the bins. Extremely disappointing stay at North Devon Resort. Check-in was delayed by over an hour with very little communication or apology, and we were told this was because the rooms were still being cleaned. That made the condition of the room even more shocking when we finally got in. The room was filthy. There were dead flies on the bedding, squashed flies all over the walls, and moth eggs around the inside of the windows that clearly hadn’t been dealt with. The shower room was in a poor and potentially unsafe condition – the shower was temperamental, the shower door was hanging off, and there were exposed screws in the children’s room, which was a serious safety concern. The rest of the site wasn’t any better. There was rubbish scattered around, and the whole resort felt dirty and poorly maintained. Trying to contact anyone during our stay was almost impossible, and the whole place felt severely understaffed. It gave the impression of being run on a shoestring budget, with very young, inexperienced staff left to manage without the support they needed. It’s such a shame because the resort has so much potential, but the lack of cleanliness, maintenance and customer service completely let it down. We were very relieved that we’d only booked one night. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return or recommend it in its current state.

We booked this last minute and, given the price, I wasn’t expecting much—but I was genuinely surprised at how great our stay turned out to be. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the very good WiFi included in the price was a big bonus. The onsite restaurant served delicious, reasonably priced food, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely stay here again.
