The front desk was very helpful. All of the employees we talked to were nice. There are multiple stores and restaurants in the area. The hotel definitely shows its years. There were broken floor tiles in the pool area. The pool was very cloudy and cold. The overall cleanliness was lacking. I would not recommend this hotel for a family.

Rooms with two beds really should have two side chairs. The tv remote was missing; we got a replacement but it wasn’t paired with the tv and we just gave up. Parking setup is pretty awful, and WiFi and internet coverage are spotty.

The bathroom floor was extremely unsanitary and visibly dirty, appearing as though it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Hair was scattered about, and the corners were particularly neglected. Additionally, numerous pins were found on the floor and carelessly placed on the bed board. Despite our two-night stay, the room remained untouched and unprepared between the two days. Despite being a party of four, only two towels were provided, and despite our request for more, the promised delivery never materialized. I wouldn't recommend this place; it might look appealing in photos, but that's the extent of its charm. Our room, situated above the lobby, suffered from incessantly loud music, making sleep nearly impossible.

I was fourth in line to check in but the single employee got to everyone with friendliness and efficiency. My room was as described and pictured. As far as cleanliness went, the sink hadn’t been cleaned before I checked in and contained dried coffee and a bunch of hair. The toilet and shower were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I ate at the restaurant/bar. Food was pretty good, but it gets very loud because the pool is in the same space and echos quite a bit.

It was soooooo loud. Many of the rooms have balconies that look indoors over the pool and restaurant. From 5-9:30 pm the sound of screaming kids having fun in the pool is extremely loud—louder than the tv and earplugs. It’s not that the kids are doing more than kids having fun, but that there is no soundproofing and the echos are INTENSE. The music in the resultant starts at 7:30am. And since there are so many families there for the pool, there’s one or two kids screaming in the hallway at 1am and knocking on doors and running away. I asked to move rooms to one that didn’t overlook the pool and they said no. Not restful.

Check in was slow, long line, 30 minute wait, only one staff member checking people in. Air conditioner in room was very loud, and in general the room was not in the best condition. The room did the job, but won’t stay here next time.

To start, I booked a king bed room, but In was given a double queen. The room doors are old and had some damage. The ac is noisy. The washroom exhaust barely works. The bed linings were stained (yellowish) I could hear other rooms from the ac duct. Smells like cigarette smoke.

Rooms are spacious, and beds are comfortable. However, be mindful that running the AC can disrupt sleep quality. It was noisy. We couldn't figure out what the noise what was all about but figured it out in the morning when turning it off prior to our departure. Not a big deal but if you have trouble sleeping bc of noise take note of it.

Short one night stay but a good stay. Needed something that was close and convenient to the airport and Sheraton provided. Every area of service (front desk, bar, shuttle service) was professional and provided good service. It was good for what I needed.

I left a notebook in my room, I made 3 calls in an attempt to retrieve it , all three times the person answering the call told me someone from house keeping would call me back, as to this date I never received a call back, my stay was the last weekend of June, unacceptable, name Howard Person.

Checked in very late at night. The lady at the desk was not friendly or knowledgeable. The lobby and elevator stunk of marijuana (probably from a guest.) The carpeting in the halls are badly stained throughout and give a terrible appearance to the property. The breakfast waitress was extremely kind.

Two problems: 1. Our room had a musky tobacco smell. The staff were very helpful and moved us. 2. Our room was not serviced, my parents' room wasn't serviced, yet our daughter's room (next door) was serviced. This was most annoying - we returned to our room after a long day and really wanted to just crash - not be dealing with housekeeping. 3. Some parts of the room is tired and needs updating.

The woman who checked me in at the front desk was very unfriendly - she interrupted me, dismissed my questions (like about the wifi password, for example) and then left me on my own to locate my room in this massive hotel. Everything but her service was fine otherwise.

The system was down so no one could check in. The staff offered no help, just told us to wait for over an hour at 10pm !! Didn’t offer anything Had to find another hotel with no help from the staff - they all seemed to find it quite funny 😔

My daughter and her friends were going to be taking an early flight for a class trip. We used the Sheraton Detroit Airport to be close to the airport and save ourselves an even earlier morning drive. We had a better night's sleep this way and the shuttle made it easy for me to get the girls to the terminal safely w/o needing to move my car. The staff was really friendly, our adjoining rooms were clean/comfortable, and the shuttle was a perfect solution. It even returned me to the hotel once the girls were on their way.

The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself, though, is in the middle of nowhere. There are few amenities outside the hotel itself, but I recommend staying for its own accommodations.

Pre paid for two adults for two days breakfast that was terrible, advertised Starbucks but found out it wasn’t available on the weekends, then tried again on Monday and only offered standard coffee. Very disappointed with the dining at this establishment.

Was just an overnight stay for flight home next day. But everything was great. Restaurant was great, room very clean. Loved the shower!!

Shuttle drivers were great. I had a late check in without a problem. Room was lovely and bed comfortable. Coffee in the morning was cold and no included breakfast. Ah well.

The only issue was that when we were checking out on Saturday morning, there was no option for breakfast unless we wanted to spend $20.00 on a 'buffet' that was a basic breakfast offered at other hotels for nothing.

My shuttle driver (Debbie, I believe) was so friendly and helpful! She made me feel comfortable being in a new city for the night and helped me get checked in once we got to the hotel. My room was great, and very clean! I had the buffet breakfast the next morning, which was amazing!!

Love the atrium area of this hotel. Met with 12 of my high school classmates and many places to meet and spread out. Bar and Restaurant service was top notch and they couldn’t be more accommodating!

I was fourth in line to check in but the single employee got to everyone with friendliness and efficiency. My room was as described and pictured. As far as cleanliness went, the sink hadn’t been cleaned before I checked in and contained dried coffee and a bunch of hair. The toilet and shower were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I ate at the restaurant/bar. Food was pretty good, but it gets very loud because the pool is in the same space and echos quite a bit.

The Breakfast was way to expensive 10 dollars daily for parking after paying for room not cool.And the front desk attendant was picking and choosing who to charge for parking. People I was with got free parking.

Staff were accommitable,especially housekeeping. Pool & hot tub small for size of hotel, but refreshing. My room 209 was Fairly clean, but safe & comfortable. Entire hotel is worn,except lobby,in major need an updated overhaul & cleanup.Loved the balcony, but not so spectacular view.Hotel is highly overpriced considering it's poor outdated, unkept conditions

Dirty since the last time I stayed, multiple times I had to call the front desk for towels and toilet paper during my 4 day trip until finally I tracked down a maid . The hallway was so dirty I saw a dental flosser on the hallway floor for 3 days . The restaurant was amazing but the pool had hair and plastic in it and hot tub was so dirty that the bubbles were brown.Also no breakfast buffet. I think I will start staying somewhere else during my trips to Detroit
