The property was dirty and the elevator did not work.

The elevator was out and had been for almost a week. The door closest to the room I was assigned, was not accessible. The key didn't engage the lock to unlock it. All of this made it hard to unload and load car. Then, the curtains only went one-third across the window. Not good for sleeping. Lastly, the staff acted as if they had better things to do than help with check-in and check-out.

This was a terrible hotel experience. They didn’t have the type of room I reserved, they didn’t have a gym (as advertised), and the hotel lost power for one night and morning. I will not be staying here again and I recommend that you don’t either!

Power went out a couple times… Remote for the tv hardly ever worked, tried a couple different ones from the front desk…

No elevator!. Fan inbathroom so loud. It couldn’t be left on while I showered. Trash piled up in all the hallways.

Elevator not working and made us stay on the third floor when my wife has had surgery on both knees recently. No apologies and no notice. Property is breaking ADA laws.

No one was at the front desk for 25 minutes. We arrived there after 10 pm. The phone that said to call “O” if no one was at the desk was broken. When the woman working the next shift came into the lobby to start work, she was surly and defensive. The room she sent us to had a half smoked cigar, an open can of beer, an unmade bed, and a bloody washcloth in it, so when I went back to the front desk and said we needed another room because of all that, she was rude again and slow walked the whole process.

Non-smoking room with many signs noting “No Smoking”, yet the room obviously had been smoked in by the previous occupant. When we first checked in, the windows were open and the A/C was on high, but we were met with the very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Room could have used a more thorough cleaning. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the climate control was very consistent in the room.

Property is dirty and room has smokey odour. Lots of better options in area.

We stayed at this property on August 23rd, 2024. Our room was terrible- the carpet was not vacuumed and was badly stained. The bathroom door was marked up with what at first glance looked like blood,!but was probably nail polish. The bathtub didn’t drain well. The furniture was scratched up and peeling. The complimentary breakfast consisted of NutriGrain bars, muffins and oatmeal-not even a banana to be had. I payed $179 for this terrible experience. It’s definitely not worth that price point. I was extremely disappointed. It is not worth even close to that.

Utterly disgusting from arrival till cancellation of reservation when sheets were laid back to find stained sheets with pubic hairs. The entire property smelled of animals and stale cigarettes. The faculty was run down and dirty.

Easy check in. Had poor cell service noticed after check in hotels.com tried to contact me stating they had to change my reservation to different location. Nothing was said at check in about this so this made no sense why my set plans were trying to be changed. Room was nice but dirty. Hair in bath tub. My wife sitting at edge of bed felt something with her foot & found used tube of KY jelly on floor next to bed. I took to the front desk & the attendant said “sorry” and write our room number down “117”. Needless to say we wiped down the whole tool with dis's infective wipes we brought

The carpets in the hallways were badly stained and dirty. The room was clean, but the furniture was significantly scratched and banged-up. The tube surface in bathroom was severely worn out and needed to be replaced.

Extended Stay. Supposedly. No plates, glasses, cups, silverware. Pretty sure I came home with bed bug bites. GROSS example of price gauging during a Michigan home game. Shameful. Governor Whitmire needs to step in

We had an overnight stay. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It was a quiet too. The hotel shows signs of its age and could use updating or spruce up. My main disappointment was the cleanliness. The surfaces had residue on them and floors had debris as if the were not swept. It was as if housekeeping skipped the easy cleaning tasks.

Clean and cost effective, but updates are needed. refrigerator, countertops, bathroom, keycard system are all in need of updates.

The room showed some wear-and-tear, like the tear in the carpet and signs of wear around the woodwork. But, the bed was comfortable and the locks on the door made me feel safe.

I liked everything except my room faced I-94 real close and the road noise was loud. They installed double windows to help. I called to get a different room, was told they were booked, but at 6:00 am the parking lot was pretty empty.

Very old and worn and a bit of an unusual smell. Desperately in need of renovation and new furniture.

Room was very basic but exceptionally clean and comfortable, only 3 pillows.

Had to change rooms due to no electric power for two lamps and TV. No cots or hair dryers available. Bathtub surface was peeling off. Very dated.

The rooms are nice and clean. They are bigger than many I have been to and they come with a kitchenette.

It's unfortunate that I have to write a terrible review as it has never been the case when we travel. But, the conditions at this location were disgusting. It was apparent that some poor housekeeper had tried her best but the room was equal to a college dorm room that someone had trashed and left.The refrigerator was rusty and the front all marked, chips out of the counters, large chips of paint off the walls, and the heat/air did not even turn on. We alerted the front desk abt this but said they couldn't do anything abt it. When we returned after being out for the day, we were locked out of our room & the front desk (nice guy though) told us that no one was in that room. Obviously our stuff was in there. Do NOT recommend.

the bathroom leaked from the ceiling in the first room and all of the furniture was beaten up. 2nd room was bad but least the bathroom was dry on the floor and ceiling. Bed was hard and not comfortable.

I booked my room through Expedia and paid for my room with Expedia. When I got to the hotel the front desk charged my card for the room again when I asked why they informed me it was for incidental and it would fall off. 2 days later my card was charged from both Expedia and the hotel when I called I spoke to Tanya the manager and instead of apologizing she said I had to call Expedia for the refund. I have never had to call Expedia for a refund. She never apologized informed thier error she asked me to send her my bank statement. When I called her back to make sure she received my email she said she was too busy at 830 am checking people in lol we know that’s a lie. She said she put in a request for corporate to look into it and now I’m waiting days for my money back. I will take this further as they don’t know what they are doing.

As a traveling nurse, my hotel stays are often short but important, especially after long shifts. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this location of Extended Stay America left much to be desired, particularly when it comes to customer service and first impressions. Upon arrival, I waited approximately 10 minutes at the front desk before being helped. During this time, housekeeping staff attempted to locate the front desk agent by calling and texting him — all without success until he finally appeared. There was no greeting, no smile, and no acknowledgment of the wait. While I understand staff may be stretched thin, basic hospitality and professionalism at check-in are critical, especially when dealing with guests who are arriving after overnight shifts. What added to the frustration was the lack of transparency regarding early check-in fees. I had called the night before to confirm if an early check-in around 10:40am would be possible, given my work schedule. The night auditor assured me it would be fine — no mention was made of a $10 per hour early check-in fee. Had I known, I may have chosen a different hotel chain like Hilton, where I typically receive consistent and professional service for a similar price. The property itself also lacked the cleanliness and polish I’ve experienced at other Extended Stay America locations. From the unoccupied front desk to the room keys that deactivate mid-day and require constant "charging", to the deplorable sleeping and bathing conditions it's safe to say don't stay here. Even if you think you have to because of budget - try try try to go somewhere else. Can you imagine finding yourself in the need to access your room quickly for whatever reason only to find out that your key doesn't work and there's no one there to help you? Yeah... never again. So unsafe.

Wonderful wonderful staff!!! As much as your room and price and location are important, so are the staff where you’re staying too. Hospitality 10/10 every staff member from the maintenance guys to the housekeepers and front desk staff were all so welcoming. They made sure my pup and I were well taken care of throughout our stay. They are running a great place here!!! Wonderful team 😊 😊 Great job management!!!

I booked through Expedia. When I tried to check in they said they saw my reservation but had no room available

Our reserved room was sold before we arrived. Long day of travel only to have to find another hotel for the night. VERY DISAPPOINTED

I couldn't check in because their housekeeper had actually just quit, before I arrived to check-in. They had no clean rooms. I had to check into another hotel . I am requesting a refund.

Conveniently located off highway. Clean and affordable hotel for a 1 night stay while traveling. Across from shopping mall.

Was a very nice place to stay. Close to highway so a little noisy. Close to restaurants.

Good location near the mall. Excellent area for restaurants and shopping. Also close to the interstate.

Nice hotel, nice surrounding area. Elevator was out of order but we were on first floor so didn't affect us. Breakfast consisted of coffee, packaged muffins and nutri grain bars. Quick and handy though. Good restaurants in the area.

a very basic, no frills place to stay; we brought our dog, it was the main reason we chose this location and it worked well for us. We had no complaints with the room.

Do not stay here. There are no front desk agents, they room keys deactivate randomly throughout the day, the food provided was stale, and the bed... you're better off sleeping on the floor.

The description of the room says a coffee maker in the room, no... counters were sticky, the bathroom door handle was in pieces on the counter. The complimentary breakfast was granola bars and stale muffins, no fruit available. Not a nice place

I loved the beds, it was clean and the breakfast was delicious

Standard fare. A bit worn in places but clean enough. Nice bed. Bad breakfast but intended for longer stays where you do your own cooking.
