Motel 6-Sulphur, LA

To be honest i didnt know what to expect because of stories I had heard but it was very satisfying. I had my 2 dogs with me and it was no problem having them with me.

Typical Motel 6. No frills, clean enough, quiet enough, and cheap enough. Located near highway with many fast food restaurants.

No coffee maker Water was not very hot No stopper in tub No small bottle of shampoo or conditioner Will not stay here again We have stayed at Motel 6’s before and never had these problems

The picture on the website is misleading. THIS IS NOT WHAT YOUR ROOM WILL LOOK LIKE. There are no amenities. We had to track the lady down to get towels. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient.

Staff was more then amazing only thing that sucked was ice machine was always out cause of workers on the road filling their coolers ! Other than that amazing and couldn’t beat the price

I stayed the night had no problem. Quit and relaxing. Everything worked like it should. I like that fact you have a choice between non smoking room and smoking room. Would stay again.

Front desk guy was very nice but the room itself had cockroaches and bugs everywhere in the room.

This hotel has deceiving photos online. The area is awful, there were stains on the walls, in the tub and in the mini fridge. The bathroom was dirty, there was a bobby pin on the counter from a perivious guest and the room smelled musty. Only stay here as a LAST RESORT!

Good for one night stay. Clean except for micorwave not cleaned inside from food. Food leftovers in fridge.

There was a cockroach in room 117 then they transferred me to 107. No cleanex, no shampoo. Window filthy, outside very dirty

Everything was okay. Except the tub, it had yellow decay all around the tub and hair.

The cleaning staff was as loud as possible at all hours and there were roaches in my room, the same room that wasn’t even cleaned before I came.

The room wasnt clean- shower head has mold, flooring has damages, bed blanket wasnt clean. Ac unit has bad dust all over vents. Sorry but i dont recommend staying there.

Smells bad

The bed was hard as a rock and the room was really hot when we arrived

Staff was awsome and the room was big with separate kitchen and living room all 3 rooms where clean

The check-in was Good. We were checked in a decent time and we were satisfied. The room was ok as well. Even though the wifi was not so good, our stay still went well. (OK)

Long story short ....Booked through hotels.com $374 for a week hotel charged $474 . Put in smoking room . I dont smoke . It was stought. Asked to be Moved . I was moved to another smoking room . All hours of the evening and night doors slamming , dogs barking , couples arguing. Room was ok but cigarette burn holes all in the blankets , matress , and even pillows ! Killed two roaches the first few hours there . When i booked the room the picture of the room advertised had a kitchen and full size refrigerator. I work 14 hour days and need all the sleep i can get . I had two hours sleep that one night. Asked to check out early and was immediately told i would not receive any type of refund or credit with an attitude . At 2 a.m and with 2 hours of sleep . the last thing i wanna hear is someone nasty attitude. . I know why they keep if you cancel early . They couldnt house the roaches and hoodlums. Pros about the hotel .... they have a nice tv and hot water ........

The lady that checked me into my stay was rude, I had questions she wouldn’t answer due to her stating she didn’t know, when I got to my room my ac was leaking and there was mold all on the walls and in the shower! No trash can in the bathroom!

THIS HOTEL is literally the worst hotel I have ever been to. I am not the type to really do reviews, but here I definitely will. Very long story short my husband and I key would not work one morning We came back from breakfast. We went about 4 or 4:30 in the morning. We get back and no one is here. We rang The bell called knocked on the door. We do this for almost 2 hours. I have medical problems and needed to get into the room to get my medication Immediately we couldn’t get in. So again long story short a lady shows up she was very rude. I was talking to my husband and she smarted off something saying I was talking to her. I wasn’t she went in and didn’t even come to the window to help us right away. She went to another room for like another 10 or 15 minutes then when she does show up to the window to do our key, she stood there For like five minutes on the computer and then gave us our key. There is so much more to the story than this, but the customer service from her was absolutely very unprofessional. She was very rude. Very disrespectful. I will never come here again or to another motel six because we have been on the phone for over three hours with customer care and reservations and we have been transferred numerous numerous times so all the way around from top to bottom is horrible customer service and customer care. I will never come back to a motel six again. Ridiculous behavior and customer care/support. I can’t believe what we have been thru. UNBELIEVABLE

When I checked in I was informed that a $100 deposit was required. I thought this excessive but paid it any way. It is now a week later and it has not yet been refunded. It is unprofessional to keep a customer's money for no reason for this long.

Room was very clean and joey at the desk was very professional and helpful.

I booked this stay a couple weeks before my arrival and my credit card was charged at that time. When I arrived, it took over an hour to check in because on their system, it didn't show that I had paid even though I had a reservation. I showed them the confirmation and even the payment, but it still wouldn't let them release the room to me. I also had to pay a $100 dollar deposit. The desk clerk (Keyshawn) was EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL and POLITE! He called his manager who apparently couldn't help him and directed him to call Expedia (your company). It didn't seem like Expedia could resolve the problem either.

It was nice and clean check in was easy and quick.. But the $100 deposit they took of my card has yet to come back and it's been almost 2 weeks.. I find that to be insane

Scammers. Front desk clerk was going to check my room when suddenly the property manager said. Oh, I'll do it. Then for some strange reason she comes back saying that I smoked in the room. All lies all the scam just to keep my deposit.

The hotel is old and in a bad place in town. Lots of peddlers and homeless people walking around. My husband wouldn’t let me walk to the car alone. The people in the room next door were screaming and fighting the police were called. It’s close to the Golden Nugget and cheap but I won’t stay there again.

Quiet and peaceful

Do not stay here. Roaches everywhere. I even went out and got roach spray. Didn’t help. Homeless people sleeping in the parking lot. Children running upstairs all night. Drug deal happening in the lot. Horrible place to stay.

Great price and location

The room was clean for the most part had a few roaches an a homeless man sleeping in the stairway charging his phone.
